The small warrior layed on her side in her nest with a huff. She was exhausted from training her apprentice and wanted to calm down with a nice calm chat with someone she cared about.
Hearing a leaf crunch she blinks her eyes.
"Who's there...?"she asks shyly,her Pom Pom tail flicking.

Shadowpelt moved quietly into the warriors' den- his new den- and stood still for a moment, letting his eyes adjust. After a moment, he stepped forward, stepping on a small twig as he did so. He heard a quiet voice say something, though he could not make out what they had said, nor who the voice belonged to. "Did I startle you?" he asked smoothly, his voice low and neutral, as it usually was when he first engaged in conversation.

Shadowpelt's icy stare became softer as he recognized Scorchflight. "Thank you," he replied, purring. "So, are you satisfied with your name?" he added, his gaze wandering around in search for a nest.

She nods slowly,rethinking her name.
"I think it suits me okay. I mean after all,I did sorta fly after I fell outta that tree during my first training session with Ashfrost." She jokes,giggling.
She flattens her ears shyly,pawing at her nest.
"So now that we're warriors...have you uh...seen anyone else differently? A lot of your um...friends I guess...? I of course don't see many as that special one..of course I haven't been around many cats too long to think of one as the one for me. All in good time though I'm sure..one of these days..."she says shyly,smiling.
"...what about you...?"

Shadowpelt's brow rose in a questioning manner, thinking the question through quickly. "I am not quite sure. To be entirely honest, the concept of a 'mate' hadn't ever really occurred to me before. I guess to answer the question, I would need to pay more attention to the cats around me," he responded, still looking for a nest. "By the way," he added, "do you have any idea where I could find a nest?"

"Well this spot by me is empty...I mean...if you'd like to make a nest there...."she mews softly. She didn't mean to be clingy or anything. Shadow had been her friend since the beggining and had always had the tiny speculation they could one day be more than just that,but she doubted it would turn out that way.
Of course her self esteem made her already doubt her chances of love. There were plenty other she cats that would probably catch the cold cat's eyes and heart quicker than she could with their prettier and less odd appearances and alluring natures. Her shyness and overall cast out attitude and personality would shatter any chance she had.
"W-well....I kind of like someone...but I feel like I'd never have a chance with him...I mean...I'm shy and a lot of she cats could very well catch his heart...I mean look at me...who would like a weak,tiny she cat with no tail and such odd features...?"she asks solemnly,laying her chin on her small paws.

Shadowpelt laughed. "Odd? You, Scorchflight, are not odd. I mean, have you seen me? I have the social skills of a rock, most cats are afraid of me, if not for my appearance than for my personality, and I have a generally warped sense of humor. If you don't think he'll do anything, than you should tell whoever he is how you feel, and see how he reacts," he stated simply, pulling bits of moss toward the empty space near his friend's nest. "And thanks for the spot," he added.

Shadowpelt looked up from his nest, toward Scorchflight. "Sure," he replied, heading toward the entrance. "Where should we go?" he called over his shoulder.

"There's a waterfall a little bit from here...small one..."she mews getting up and heading towards the den entrance.
"Besides...I have something to confess to you...I'll wait till we get there..."she says solemnly as she waited for him,slowly padding out the den.

Shadowpelt followed behind, enjoying the last rays of light as the sun began dipping toward the horizon. "So, which waterfall is this?" he asked after he had broken away from the camp entrance.

"I don't know...I don't think it has a name. It's a small one,but it's nice..."she mews,peeking through the grass to see the little waterfall that led off into the stream below,sighing dreamily.
