Venus dashed through the trees as she made her way towards the main clearing. She slowed down as she came closer and closer. She felt a cool breeze brush past her causing a shiver to run down her spine. She jolted to a spot as she looked around she was just a few fox lengths away from the clearing. She slowly padded out from the trees as she looked around glancing at all the gathered cats that were seated. She quickly weaved past the cats as she made her way towards the center. She took a seat as she wrapped her tail around her paws neatly. She zoomed in listing to what Drought had to say, she made it right in time to.
Her eyes winded as he heard his plans and then they returned back to normal. She was a little shocked of what he had to say because DeathClan never had that much power against the clans, but that never meant they never could. She agreed with what his plans were ever though she didn't really like Drought, it was about time the showed those clan cats a lesson. Her tail lashed out in satisfaction as she let out a yowl of agreement. But then she quickly quieted down as she glanced around her at the cats that sat near by making her feel a like bit embarrassed but why should she feel that way.

Sunspots was surprised that Drought would take over the clans and replace the leaders. Cloverstar had once rejected Drought even with Dogkit's life at stake, what if the leader won't cooperate? Drought would have some way of pulling some strings, he was the mighty leader oh hear his name and tremble ugh ugh. "Hmm, some cats don't understand what power we have." Sunspots thought looking up at the Deathclan leader, HER leader.

So it looked like they were moving in for a while. That was interesting, but Bell still had a frown on his face. Usurping was all well and good, fun even, kicking the clan leaders off their pedestals would be incredibly fun. Not only that, the deputies too, but he doubted it would be as easy as all that. Standing up, Bell cocked his head. "To what purpose are we doing this?" he called up to Drought curiously. "Are we setting ourselves up in the clans permanently, are they our clans now? I don't think one kit from each clan will allow for permanent residence, so do you have something else planned?"
The elites as leaders was slightly laughable. He didn't know any of them particularly well, but there were flaws he could pick out in each that would make the unsuitable for a permanent position in such power. And if they were leading, what would Drought be keeping himself busy with?

Saturn wrinkled her nose as she listened to what he had to say. Well I guess the elites are going to have to lead the four clans but are the clan cats going to stay or are they going to get kicked out. The idea sounds fine having to make the leaders back down but what would the rest of us have to do. Saturn narrowed her eyes a bit not really sure if she should be agreeing to this or not.

Lyric turned her head when another Royalty and her ally of sorts, Bell, sat beside her. At his question, the gray and white she-cat nodded. "Fortunately, yes. The only problem one I see is the TreeClan one that very rudely rejected your prey." she meowed, giving a small snort after she spoke.
Then, Drought spoke.
Lyric listened as Bell started asking questions about the plan. This gave her a bit time to reflect on things. She wondered which clan Vale would be going to. Stop thinking about that. You know he won't send a message to your kits. With that, she shook her head, looking up.
"Are any other DeathClanners going with them to ensure the obedience of the clans?" she questioned.

Hearing Lyric say those words Sunspots instantly meowed solidly "I will go with the other Deathclanners to ensure that those clan cats fall to the power of Deathclan." after saying that, her ears bent slightly backward embarrassed that she said that out loud.

Vale glared at Sunspots. "Hush!" He flicked his tail. "I believe that's a decision for Drought to make." He narrowed his eyes and his attention dropped from the DeathClanner to the other Elites. "Yep were ready for this Badger. Looks like Droughts given us some work, boys." He kept his tone rather low, only to address his colleagues. "Now to see who he'll pick to tag along with us." The tomcat's attention returned back to their leader.
It's time for things to really get rolling, boys. He thought solemnly to himself.

Taking over? Well that was fascinating. Now what lovely clan would he have free reign over? Otherwise, he needed to figure out hoe Drought was planning on maintaining control. There were simply not enough cats to defend Deathclan and have a steady control over the clans without stretching themselves fairly thin. He was interested in the plan even further now. What did Drought have in mind?

Kylie, who had sat close to the only cat she knew and trusted, was shocked to hear what the DeathClan leader had to say. The ginger tabby was never one for conflict, and she was strongly against all the kidnappings and raids of the four Clans. Ky wasn't dumb, though. She kept her thoughts to herself, not wanting to risk being kicked out of the band of rouges and loners. The female held her tongue, fearful yet curious as to how exactly would Drought be able to accomplish this seemingly impossible task.

(Sorry for jumping in here, late post ^^")
I had sat near the back of the clearing, wondering who would be chosen. I thought it was strange that the elites and not the 'royalty' of DeathClan would be chosen to lead the control in each Clan, in other words, their leaders. At least we're getting somewhere... I reminded myself. I myself was part of two raids and was completely eager to hear more of the plan. I bet those weak Clans won't be expecting this...

somehow I seem to always miss plots when I'm gone a couple days.
It was like if the meetings were a new routine now or something, and even though it bugged the tabby a bit of how much she was hearing the call of her leader now, it also made her feel safe in a way. Cats around were of the same affiliation as her, and there was no doubt that there was fear, curiosity, and pride of being part of Deathclan.
Then something bad happened. She had a strange feeling that she was - oh shoot! She bolted out of her makeshift nest and dashed for the clearing, knowing that there was a meeting going on. Darn mice giving her a stomach ache the day before.
As she approached the usual meeting spot, she noticed more cats than usual. Maybe no one would notice her tardiness now, so she slipped in the back, still trying to catch her breath. Now if only I knew what today's topic is. . .

Omg we should totally show up to the May Gathering and have a have 'demands' and stuffz] Sunspots smoothed her fur, she shouldnt have talked out of permission but it just slipped out. She sat up strait and saw Dove pad into the clearing, more Deathclanners filling in the clearing. She never noticed how many there where, but would this outnumber the clans enought to take over? "Stop having these doubts." she thought "Drought will think of something, he always does."

Griffin was very impatient, and she got up and started to pace in a circle. We can always have doubts. she thought, suggestions and comments make a plan more stable. The problem was, Sunspots should stop yammering about what the topic is. Besides calling the cats together, Drought hadn't said anything yet. Griffin thought he was waiting for the clearing to quiet down. The young she-cat glanced up at Drought, then lowered her head and started pacing again. C'mon, get on with it already.

| While I do apologize for the wait, I've been awaiting responses from the people whom I have PMed. The eight of them will be playing a very important role in the upcoming phase of the plot, so I was not willing to continue this thread until at least half of them had replied. |
As the leader allowed his Clan to react to this news, several more cats arrived in the clearing. There was a slight commotion involving one of the peasants, to which Drought merely narrowed his eyes in annoyance at Sunspots' idiocy. Foolish cat, assuming that she is entitled to anything of the sort...
Two of the royals spoke up with questions. "We shall rule the Clans for as long as possible. If major problems arise which we are unable to resolve, we shall relinquish our hold on those CloudClan-worshippers temporarily," he meowed to Bell. Twitching his tail-tip at Lyric, Drought spoke again. "Indeed, our Elites will be going to the Clans with several guards. These guards will help ensure that the Clan fools stay in check." He shifted slightly, taking a breath before continuing.
Badger will go to RockClan with Artemis and @hephaestus. Holly shall rule TreeClan with the aid of Jollyberry and @kylie. Thicket will have control over FireClan with Strike and Venus... and Vale can take over IceClan with Dove and @dwjabiudw. The four Elites shall leave for the Clans right away with their guards. They will stay there until I say otherwise. Is that understood?" His gaze swept over the assembled cats, watching for anyone who might dare to disagree with his orders.
| Okay, this is important. The four Elites should make a thread in their assigned Clan right away, in order to interact with the leader and/or deputy to "take over". They and their guards will only roleplay in that Clan. If you guys have any threads going here, please end them. PM me with any questions. |

(wow late replies for the win)
It wasn't long before others were filing in, filling up the clearing quickly to hear Drought's announcement. Artemis gave some nods and tail flicks in greeting to those she recognized, but otherwise remained where she was. She supposed she should intermingle more now; there were currently more members in DeathClan since she'd last remembered in the past. Some of them looked young, as if they'd only just started life as a rogue.
When Drought spoke, she listened intently with her good ear. Nothing could have prepared her for what he actually said, however. Taking over the Clans? The thought took her completely off-guard. DeathClan had always hated the Clans, yes, and the Clans hated it in return. It had always been that way. But fighting the Clans was one thing. Conquering them, subjugating their warriors and apprentices and kits...the thought was unnerving. She couldn't imagine how much power that would give DeathClan.
She kept silent, however. Artemis listened to the questions given by Bell and Lyric, thankful her own thoughts had been voiced. The only sign that she was in any way uneasy was the occasional twitch of her paw as she reached up to brush it over her head, smoothing down stray tufts of fur, but that was it.
The royal she-cat gave a small start as Drought continued to speak, and she heard her name in one of his commands. She straightened up slightly, her expression unreadable as usual. Going to RockClan? And with Badger and Chronos? She didn't know Chronos, but she supposed that wouldn't be too bad. She was a little familiar with RockClan territory from her occasional ventures near there in hunting. Though, the idea of guarding a Clan wasn't very appealing, but it wasn't as if she'd say that out loud.
"Understood," Artemis replied serenely.
