Holly. Why of all four elites did it have to be Holly he was being shipped off with. His c=discontent was warring with his pride, but eventually his loyalty to Drought won out. Standing, the pale ginger and white tom dipped his head. "It will be done." Perhaps he'd be able to take out his annoyance on the clan cats. It wasn't as though he held lost love for them.
At least he'd have work to do. He wasn't familiar with Kylie and the tom had very strong reservations as to what Holly could accomplish, so undoubtedly he'd have his hands full. Stirring up trouble, so long as it didn't interfere with Drought's plans, shouldn't turn into an issue.
Pacing to the edge of the clearing, Bell cast his gaze around for Holly, waiting for the tom to haul his behind so they could get going.

Vaughn had rolled in late, he had just heard the words of which Drought spoke. His ears flicked and he turned his head to stare at the patched leader. His dull eyes blinked and he stopped facing side ways with a paw in the air and he grinned chuckling slightly at the plan. "Catch me up here Drought, so what your saying is we are gonna kidnap the leaders and deputies and have these four take their place? Or I am hearing wrong? Don't you think the clans will notice a little change? I'm sure will lose a elite in this .. one cat against a clan. Its foolish. But let me hear your explaining" he mewled out dryly. He wasn't gonna be all kissy kissy to Drought just cause he let him join the group of ... dark, cats.

Kylie desperately wanted for all the commotion the group of gathered cats to cease. Honestly, was there any sort of need for the ruckus? They were here to bear the news of the plans Drought had crafted, not waste time with pointless bickering and chatting. If they wanted to know, then it would be logical to actually wait for the black-and-white leader to speak his thoughts to them.
The ginger she-cat remained silent, auburn gaze directed to Drought as he stood above everyone, the phrase to be taken in every way imaginable. As he began to speak, Kylie’s striped ears strained to hear his voice. What she heard, however, impaled a shaft of utter shock deep in her chest. She had just been asked—no, commanded—to guard an Elite and reign over TreeClan. Kylie couldn’t speak for quite a while, her head starting to hurt. Why had she been selected, out of all cats?
Don’t do this now, Ky. Do it later. Right now, more important things are happening, she chided herself. Kylie snapped out of her daze and straightened her form as much as she could. She dipped her head low and spoke in a loud, clear voice: “As soon as possible, Drought.”

Venus sat quietly as she studied her paws listing to what he had to say. When he was listing who was going were she quickly looked up at him as she heard her name called. Along with Thicket and Strike. She eyes got lost in her thoughts as she thought for a moment letting her brain proses what was happening. I'm going to FireClan as a guard with Strike and Thicket. She repeated in her head. Great I don't really know either one of them but I'll just have to find a way to work with Strike, to guard Thicket. She shook her head as a shiver ran down her spine. She looked up a Drought as she straightened her position the best she could. "Very well then." She meowed plainly as she dipped her head respectfully. She scanned the clearing quickly looking for Thicket and Strike so that they could get on their way.

Quite surprised that I would be one of the cats picked for the task of guarding one of the Clans, I gave a conspicuous nod to Drought, showing that I understood. Then I remembered the cats I would be going with. Dove and Vale... I knew neither of them very well, but that could be a good thing. No rivalries or anything, we could just take over IceClan without having to have any complication. Then I scanned the fray for Vale and Dove, also wanting to get on our way.

Galaxy flicked his tail in irritation. It was obvious that Drought hated him enough to make him stay in Deathclan. He hated how the others now saw him: selfish, greedy, cold, and everything in between. Galaxy stood up from where he sat and faced the leader. "What about the cats that are staying in Deathclan? What do we do?" he meowed in a indifferent voice. What Galaxy said was pretty well devised. It didn't really sound like a challenge, since he was speaking for not only him but to the rest of the cats that were not chosen. What have I got to lose?

Droght had picked who he felt as best for the job, something Thicket had appreciated. He knew little about Venus, but he imagined the cat would be practical and witty. Strike was obviously fr brute force and cracking down on any resistance. Good thing he was headed back to Fireclan, his favourite place. It was time to have some good old fashioned fun, Deathclan style. He guards would have to resilient in controlling Fireclan effectively, he did not need protection. He would bend the clan to his own will and he would be a good leader there. He knew that much. It was time for him to depart now. Strike, Venus we are moving out. It is time to visit our new territory.

Dove listened to the names being called, like if it was a death call. She did not want to be called. She did not want to go anywhere near the clans again. After every name, she exhaled a small breath of air, relieved not to be one of the leader's chosen ones. Unfortunately, after Vale was called, she heard the "d" consonant and her body was soon frozen. She held hear breath as her name was called. She was speechless. Was Drought kidding around with her when he decided that she would be a part of his plan?
It least she was assigned to Vale, an Elite that she had sort of an energetic encounter with, but she was a bit iffy about Ashes, not knowing much about the cat other than appearance. Iceclan. . . oh goodness. I hope that with leafbare gone, it wouldn't be as cold there.
And of course there would be someone who questions Drought's intentions. she thought, quickly glancing to Vaughn, and then padded over to join the black peasant. "I'll assume that you're Ashes." she said, wanting to get out of here already. The sooner they left, the sooner their task would take place.

(All hail Drought, King of Late Replies! Hurr hurr hurr) Sunspots heard the questions of what the mangy pheasants like herself would do, coarse she wanted to know the same thing but she didn't have the guts to speak out again. She twitched her ears as she heard a cat speak against Drought, she turned to see the brown cat with black paws. "Mouse-brain, hes going to get his ears cut off." she thought sweeping her bushy tail over her paws "Some cats have no respect for others." She tilted her head toward the Elites to hear a few cat names be yelled, her not included but didn't expect it to be. "Lucky Dove." she muttered as Dove's name got called along with a cat she didn't know called Ashes. "Guess I'll be sitting here like a lump on a log. " She ruffled her fur as she thought of if the clans would attack them or not, they most likely would since they took in kits and threatened to kill them.

| @cheepacreepa, I'm so terribly sorry that I'm graduating high school this week and have been spending a lot of time studying for finals. Believe it or not, when I'm busy during the day and VWW doesn't require my immediate attention, I actually prefer to spend my free time relaxing with a nice game or book. Technically you guys don't even need me to say anything else in this thread, except that I've had to make one minor guard change. |
For the most part, the Elites and their guards seemed to accept their new roles. The mentioned cats began to respond positively and head out of the clearing. However, one cat spoke up - the former Clanner known as Vaughn. Baring his teeth in irritation, Drought turned to face the peasant.
"Did I say anything about kidnapping, fool? You think this will be discreet? No, even the tiniest kitten in the Clans will know that they are under the control of my Elites. If anyone decides to step out of line, I'll be more than happy to solve the issue. Clan idiots may be exiled or killed, and of course I have those precious little hostages as well." His claws scored the rotting bark; he could still remember slashing open Cloverstar's throat during the first of the invasions.
"By all means, scamper back to those CloudClan-worshippers if you wish... or shut your jaws and think before you speak." Shooting a last glare at Vaughn, Drought turned toward the other cat who had spoken up. "If you are not an Elite or a guard, you stay here in order to defend DeathClan's territory and the hostages," he meowed plainly to Galaxy.
With that, the leader raised his voice to address all of the remaining cats, particularly the ones who were leaving for the Clans. "I will be paying a visit or two in order to ensure that things are going well," Drought stated. With a flick of his tail, he hopped off his announcement perch and left the clearing.
| Meeting's over. All Elites/guards should be going if they're not already in their assigned Clans. Also, since @hephaestus has gone inactive, Onyx will be the replacement guard in RockClan. Have fun. |
