| For Badger, Holly, Thicket, Vale, and all other DeathClanners. |
It was a calm day in DeathClan. The sun shone down through the dense pine needles, casting dappled light onto the perpetually damp ground, and the trees shivered in a gentle breeze.
Drought raced through the forest toward the main clearing, his eyes narrowed as he swerved around tree trunks. It was time to summon the pseudo-Clan and move on with his plan.
The leader burst into the clearing and immediately bounded over the rotten tree stump where he usually made announcements. Leaping to the top, he parted his jaws to let out a yowl.
"Cats of DeathClan, gather to hear what I have to say!"

For once, Lyric was not looking after the kits. She was trusting that they would behave themselves, to be quiet and actually eat something for once. The gray and white she-cat had been lounging around the clearing when she heard Drought's yowl. The gray and white shorthair's head lifted. Lyric blinked once before walking to the meeting area.
She entered, noting that Drought was the only one here at the moment. Lyric sat down, glancing around the area for her father or perhaps some of the youngling morons she had recently met.

A yowl pierced the silence around the clearing. Vale, who at the time had been taking a small nap, rose to his paws quickly. His ears pricked and the tomcat jumped from his resting spot and bounded towards the clearing. Things in DeathClan recently had been more interesting then they had ever been. There had been 4 battles 3 of which he had gotten to participate in.
Vale entered the clearing and his blue gaze locked onto the DeathClan leader. With a nod he sat down and readied himself to listen to whatever Drought had to say, and of course interest was there.

I yawned as I stepped out of my crevice in the earth, shaking out my soil covered pelt. I heard Drought's call and gave an internal moan. Drought had a thing for making me talk, he basically disliked when I held my tongue. I gave a light frown as I turned and started running towards the clearing.
Upon my arrival, I saw Drought first, ready to give an announcement. I sat down up near the front as of where the crowd of cats would be sitting, a little to the left. I curled my tail over my paws and waited patiently.

Sunspots woke from her nap as she heard Drought's yowl, racing to the main clearing which was not to far away, and settled in a spot near the stump where she could hear and see her leader well. "Hmm, must be more of the plan for the Clans." she thought and dug her claws into the damp dirt "Good, I'm ready to get my claws into whatever is coming up next."

Griffin twitched her ears as she settled down down on a patch of clovers on the far side of the clearing. This was her first meeting, and she anticipated what Drought was going to say. Impatiently, the dilute calico she-cat unsheathed a claw, intricately slicing through the stem of a clover, then cutting it into pieces. She couldn't wait for the meeting to start.

Badger had heard his Leader's call from some distance, and was unhappy because it had broken his peaceful nothingness, something he didn't get to take pleasure in very often. But he knew that Drought was going to talk about plans for their current thing with the Clans, so he reluctantly made his way to the clearing.
There were five other cats in the clearing. Two, Vale and Holly, were elites like himself. One was Lyric, and Badger was actually somewhat happy that she was here. It meant the kits weren't giving her trouble, and that meant things were going smoothly. The other two were cats he either didn't know well, or he simply forgot they existed. Either way, they were useless to him.
The grey tabby made his way over to the two elites, giving them each a brief nod as he sat down. "You ready, boys?"

Galaxy padded out from the shadows surrounding the clearing, his eyes not meeting anybody's. He was in a foul mood today, and he hoped this meeting might make it better. The silvery tom had heard that Drought was going to announce Deathclan's control on all the clans. News can be heard if you know where to find it. He took a pot on the outskirts of the clearing, staying well out of sight. After the previous meeting, many cats probably have questions for him, and he hated questions. Galaxy tilted his head toward the tuxedo tom perched on the rack and waited.

It appeared that something was finally happened. Bell noted the setup of the clearing as he swept in, and immediately trotted his way over to Lyric. As the only other royalty in the meeting, and someone he could actually act civil with, it was the best choice.
"Have the kits settled in then, if you're here?" he asked, remotely curious as he kept his gaze on the tuxedo leader. Lyric didn't seem one for taking risks when it came to the kits, so he doubted she would have come unless there was certainty they wouldn't run off.

Onyx walked out of his den after hearing Drought's call. He yawned. He figured it was news about the control over all the clans. He was a little upset about Drought disturbing his sleep. He padded over and sat next to @kylie. "You know why Drought called us all over here?" He asked her.

Everyone in DeathClan, even those not directly involved, knew what was going on with the Clans, and Artemis was no exception. The invasions, the clashes, they had been enough to bring them down. The kidnapping of the kits had helped.
Now, however, what could Drought want? Artemis mulled this over as she went, weaving in and out through the trees. The warm afternoon breeze rippled through her short fur pleasantly, and she took the time to take in the scents of prey and flowers in the air as she went. Greenleaf truly was well on its way here.
She had only participated in the RockClan and TreeClan raids, but had mostly kept to herself when it came to the rest. Wearing oneself out with constant fighting wasn't good, and she wasn't sure if she agreed with the practice of using kits as leverage against the Clans. It worked, but that didn't mean she had to like it. She pitied the kits, personally.
When Artemis arrived at the clearing, it was already sparsely populated. She made her way in coolly, sitting down at the base of a flat rock near the center and wrapping her tail around her paws.

Oh another meeting. Lovely. It was no secret that Deathclan now had a vice grip on all the clans and it was a position they would hopefully enjoy for a long time. The clan cats lacked the ability to even plan against them so it was easy to use the clans against one another. Drought's plan was pure genius. He had helped attack Iceclan and Treeclan, only to do little in both, much to his own disappointment. Still there were more opportunities to serve Deathclan. After all, being an Elite held those sorts of responsibilities, but he suspected that whatever Drought was about to announce would easily involve all of Deathclan.
He sat with the other Elites and somewhat near Artemis as well, a cat he respected very much. He wanted to assure that there would be no nearby distractions during the meeting.

Saturn heard a faint yowl from far away. Perhaps it's a meeting cause it sounded like Droughts. She silently padded towards the main clearing as a slight breeze blew by making her quicken her steps into a trot for some reason. This must be important after all the invasion going on with the clans. Once she got closer to the clearing she slowed down as she peered around studying her surroundings. She made her way across the tall grass as she came into view of the clearing. Their were a lot of cats settled in already waiting for Drought to commence. She weaved past some cats as she took a seat towards the back as she looked up at the tuxedo cat, Drought. She wrapped her tail over her paws neatly as she waited patiently.

Her leader's call pierced through Saphira's peaceful slumber, and she blinked open her eyes, irritated. "What does that imbecile want now?" she muttered under her breath, pulling herself to her paws. Yawning, she made her way over to the clearing, sticking to the outskirts of the group of assembled cats. The blue-gray she-cat suppressed a sigh as she looked up expectantly at Drought.

The inhabitants of DeathClan began to arrive at a surprising rate. Looking around at the growing mass of pelts, Drought could see cats of all social classes and ages. He was pleased to realize that all four of his Elites had seated themselves among the crowd. Good. I'll need them soon.
Lashing his tail once as a signal for his audience to be silent, the black-and-white spotted tom began to speak. "I am sure that you all have heard about the invasions of the Clans," he meowed loudly and clearly. "At last, we have obtained hostages from all four groups. The Clans are being forced to obey DeathClan... but it isn't enough just to rule them from afar. We must usurp their leaders and deputies! I shall be sending in my Elites for this task. Badger, Holly, Thicket, and Vale... you will be taking the place of those pathetic Clan leaders."
Drought paused to wait for the gathered cats' reaction. Surely this would come as somewhat of a shock. After all, DeathClan had never held this sort of power before.
