Welcome to the Canis Lupis Pack! Yes, it's so very original. I know. Anyway, skipping most introductions, this pack needs many different positions filled. Below I have listed what I believe each position should be capable of doing. If you wish to argue, PM me. I'm fairly lenient.
Alphas:
Alpha is the most respected rank in the entire pack. Normally the alpha male hold more power then the female, but it varies by pack. The alpha pair is normally mated before the calling of alpha but not always. The alphas have the ability to drive the rest of the pack into submission. The alphas are typically very good hunters and are fairly good fighters. However, they only go on a few hunts, and they deliver the killer blow. The alphas eat first.
Betas:
One of the more respected ranks in the pack. The Beta pair are the next in charge if the Alphas are out on a hunt or on a trip somewhere. If one Alpha dies, the Beta of that same gender is moved up to the Alpha position. They pick the next Beta to replace their previous place. Betas are able to order around the Omega's of the pack and the apprentices. They are the ones who organize patrols, and give apprentices mentors based on the skills they show. The Betas normally eat after the alphas.
Shamans: (Equivalent of Medicine Cat)
The shaman can be male or female, young or old. Their abilities are being able to heal the tribe mates and help the alpha male make pack decisions. (I'd allow dreams like premonitions, but that's something you'd need checked out by an admin who knows more.) Their rank is well respected because they are the main healers and keeping the tribe alive is highly something to be respectful of. They may have a special connection with the lake/pond where there is to be no fighting (this is like a 'totem item. Where they are seemingly linked to the lake), and they will not get special dreams like a clanners medicine cat. They may be initiated by a serious illness, an alpha's choosing, or by a near-death experience.
Shaman Assistant:
This special wolf (in some cases even two!) is chosen by the Shaman specially. They might have a special interest in the medical field or perhaps is injured in a way where they cannot serve the tribe as a hunter or fighter.
Hunters:
These are the wolves that chase down the prey and track it. They are born with extreme speed and sure-footed-ness. They have strong legs that can jump far and bring down big prey if needed. They are mentors to the apprentices and normally care for the pups. The Hunters eat after the Alphas and Betas. The Hunters can also be Fighters if they so choose.

There will be a mini-leader in the Hunters. Basically, beyond your alpha and beta, the "alpha hunter" will be the one who gets the hunters roused up and ready for a hunt. The Hunters will be a close knit group, more then likely leaving out the Fighters. The "alpha hunter" will be a pure hunter. To choose the "alpha hunter" the hunters will either have a vote, or in the case of a tie, hunt for top rank. The loser becomes the next in charge if the "alpha hunter" was to die or get sick.

These are the wolves that fight against other packs when needed. They are born with a internal spark that makes them always wanting to fight. They have strong legs and sharper jaws then the hunters. They are trained longer then the hunters. They eat after the alphas and betas. The Fighters can also be Hunters if they so choose.

There will be a mini-leader in the Fighters. Basically, beyond your alpha and beta, the "alpha fighter" will be the one who gets the fighters roused up and ready for a fight. They will also be in charge of assigning mentors to the apprentices, after consulting the Beta pair or Alpha pair. The Fighters will be a close knit group, more then likely leaving out the Hunters. The "alpha fighter" will be a pure fighter. To choose the "alpha fighter" the hunters will either have a vote, or in the case of a tie, fight for top rank. The loser becomes the next in charge if the "alpha fighter" was to die or get sick.
Apprentices:
They have just been graduated from the pups and are assigned to a hunter or fighter. They eat after the alphas, betas, hunters, and fighters. They have training for nearly 6 months (Or whenever the mentor decides you don't need to train anymore) and then become a hunter or a fighter. Sometimes even both.
Pups:
These are the youngest and one of the least respected of the pack. They are fed by the Hunters and Fighters, and sometimes fed by Betas if needed. They spend almost 6 months (Or whenever you PM me for an assigned mentor.) as a pup but then become apprentices.
Omegas:
Omegas are the least respected of the pack. They barely get fed, and if they do, its the bare bits from the kill. Unless it is a big kill, the omegas are barely fed and they look raggedy. They omegas are the last to eat. They are sometimes deemed after being betrayers of the pack. Basically if the pack finds out they are being betrayed to another pack, they become omegas and become disrespected by everybody.

UPDATE:: When I post pack threads, you MUST post within a week (Unless said otherwise) or I will be taking you down to a lower rank, unless you're an omega. Then you can stay. If you are in a high rank, I will expect you on more often for group threads.
