Sagefur didn't know Splashstream, but she sounded decent. "My mentor was blue flower. I haven't seen her for a while though.... I do miss her..." Sagefur was lost in thought for a second before returning to reality. "But hey, got to move on, don't we?" Not knowing what else to say, she just stopped her rambling and waited for a response.

Rabbitswift listened to what Sageleaf, nodding afterwards. He hadn't met any cats that went be Blueflower. Rabbitswift was pretty sure he wouldn't meet her, since Sageleaf said she hadn't seen Blueflower around. When she spoke of moving on, Rabbitswift nodded. "Yes, we do have to move on at some point. We should be happy they were here," Rabbitswift meowed. Now it was his turn to ask question, he paused, then thought of a good one. "Who was your mother?" Rabbitswift asked curiously.

Sagefur smiled at the thought of her mother-the warm memories of her kithood. "My mother was Leopardfire. It was so long ago...." She was lost in memories for a moment, before tuning back into the present conversation. Looking for some appropriate to say, Sagefur said' "Who was your mother?"

Rabbitswift nodded, he hadn't met the queen, but like most he had heard of her. Then it was his turn to answer the question. "My mother was Littlepool," Rabbitswift answered. He remembered his mother, like most it was fond memories of kithood. He then waited for Sageleaf to ask a question.

"I remember Littlepool. She was nice, and took good care of all the kits..." Sagefur smiled at the warm memory. Then she realized he was waiting for her to ask another question. She thought of one, and came up with a lame one, but hey, it was the only thing she could think of. "So... what's your favorite prey?" (Question: Do you want to set up a plot thing or something like mates or best friends eventually? Just wondering, 'cause the threads not really going anywhere. If not, don't worry about it

[ I wouldn't mind best friends, but mates is something I prefer to determine through RP, plus Rabbitswift isn't a romance kind of guy. ]
Rabbitswift nodded at the comment about his mother. Most of his very young kit-hood was a blur, but it seemed usual to him. The next question was what his favourite prey was, and memories of the savory taste of vole made him smile. "My favourite is vole, and you?" Rabbitswift answered. Rabbitswift wrapped his tail around his paws and sat there, rather pleased.

[Okay. We'll just let things develop as they do ] "I prefer rabbit, witch is pretty rare in TreeClan. Though voles are probably my second favorite." It was such a shame that TreeClan didn't have more rabbits around it's territory. She would have liked one once in a while.

Rabbitswift nodded to the statement of rabbit being rare. The creatures didn't ventured into the tree filled territory much, which must've not been the best for the rabbit lovers. "Well, I will always like vole I believe, it tastes so good," Rabbitswift meowed, a smile upon his face. Now it was his turn to think of a question, so he hesitated. Then it hit him, and he knew exactly what he was going to ask. "What is your favourite thing about being a warrior?" Rabbitswift asked.

Sagefur sighed happily, thinking of all her favourite warrior things. "Really, I like training apprentices and fighting most of all, though there really isn't much fighting that's been going on with this Clan lately, if you know what I mean. How about you?

Rabbitswift hadn't got to enjoy all the things he could do, now that he was a warrior, but he already knew what his favourite thing would be. So when the question swung back to him, he smiled. "I like the freedom, being able to leave camp and do things in peace sounds nice," Rabbitswift meowed. That is what he was excited for, being able to have peace and quiet when he needed it.

Sageleaf pondered the point for a moment before replying. Yes, freedom was nice, but you got a whole lot of it and spent most of your life "free". But the protection of mothers as a kit was something she longed for, and one not easily forgotten. I have to go see my mother soon! Thought Sage. I do really miss her!
Back in reality, Sage finally let out a deep breath and nodded. "Yes, it is very nice. Though sometimes I do miss the protection of kit hood. Not that being a warrior isn't great, I mean, it is, but I didn't savor my childhood much, for I thought so much about the future..."

Rabbitswift had allows dreamed of freedom, since he felt the nursery was a prison. The prison had been safe, but it wasn't the place for the adventurous brown tabby. "Well, I am a little bit more adventurous. When I was young I thought of the nursery as a prison," Rabbitswift explained his reason. His tail stilled from the memory, but he was still happy to be free.

Sageleaf thought about that for a moment before answering, trying to sort through the muffled memories of her kit hood. "Yeah, I guess I kind of thought of it like that." she replied. "And I do get your point." she added after a moment. "So, how about more questions? Let's seeā¦..Do you have an apprentice currently?"

[ His first apprentice went inactive and he just got asked to mentor, so I am not going to mention the first... ]
He smiled, happy to see that she at least understood what he meant by freedom. Protection was nice, but freedom made him feel independent and of course, free. Then she asked about apprentices, and Rabbitswift smiled at the thought of training his apprentice. "Yep, her name is Leafpaw. How about you?" Rabbitswift asked.

"I've had some, I can't remember their names though (cause they went inactive or I did or something like that). I don't have any apprentices right now, but I'm hoping to get this adorable kit named Willowkit as my appretnice. She is around the right age and should be getting her ceremony soon." she replied.
