"My name's dawnpaw, nice to meet you," she mewed as she followed coalpaw and lightpaw to the fresh-kill pile. "I have horizonshadow, but I don't see him much," she answered to coalpaws question. She then looked at lightpaw. I wonder if he has feelings for me.. She thought, remembering there meeting about a moon ago.

“My mentors Spottedheart,” Lightpaw informed proudly. The pale tabby took his training surprisingly seriously— a fact which he would like to think contributed to why he and his mentor got along so well. His green gaze caught Dawnpaw’s for a moment, and after a few seconds he broke eye contact and focused on his paws, his fur pricking as his skin flushed under his pelt.

"I've heard of Horizonshadow, but I've never talked to him," Coalpaw tilted her head. "But I've haven't heard of Spottedheart, sorry." She took another bite of the mouse.
The black apprentice slowly chewed her portion, glancing back and forth between Lightpaw and Dawnpaw. She saw the exchange between the two apprentices. Everything clicked into place for Coalpaw, and she struggled to hide a smirk.
Swallowing, she moved from in between Lightpaw and Dawnpaw. Coalpaw padded to the other side of the pale tom, and gave him a shove towards Dawnpaw. That ought to do it, Coalpaw thought.

(Coalpaw trying to be cupid or something XD) Dawnpaw blushed as lightpaw came closer, literally, if her fur wasn't there she would be red as a beet. "Umm.. Hey.." Dawnpaw mewed with a smile. (Short )

<XD yup!>
Coalpaw casually took a bite of the mouse, keeping an eye on the other two apprentices. She'll just have to give them a little push every once and a while.

“Yeah, um, hi…” Lightpaw said awkwardly, positive his burning red skin was visible through his pale tabby pelt. Despite his confident persona he could get flustered fairly easily. His green eyes caught on Dawnpaw’s, and for a moment he was mesmerized by the enchanting shade of blue, before he backed away— though he was still closer than he had been. “So…” the small tom coughed slightly, glaring half-heartedly at Coalpaw before continuing on, “Dawnpaw, you said something about not seeing your mentor much, right?” he stated, “well, if you ever feel like your falling behind on training I could help out,” Lightpaw offered. He was (at least in his mind) practically a warrior already; not that it was very noticeable.

Dawnpaw almost felt enchanted when their eyes met, she smiled at lightpaw, her eyes full of kindness. When lightpaw asked about training, she nodded and mewed, "Yes, that would be great." She only had trouble at one battle move, but still,it would be nice to have some help, also she liked spending time with lightpaw.
(You have served your purpose now coalpaw, it is your destiny to overthrow cupid and replace him XD)

<yes. She shall overthrow Cupid and take his place on the throne. Now all Coalpaw will do is stalk you guys and come out at random points to make you do something couple-y XD that is her goal>
Ha! Yes! Coalpaw screamed in her mind. Phase one complete. Initiate phase two.
"Why don't we go out and catch a few kills to replace the ones we ate?" Coalpaw licked her chops. "It'll be a great time to teach each other any moves that we haven't learned yet."

“Sure,” Lightpaw said with a nod, slipping black into his confident personality, “maybe one of you can teach me how to change my pelt— no matter how quiet I am this blasted color keeps giving me away,” he huffed bitingly. He’d been having problems with the bright shade of his pelt since the first day of training: it wasn’t nearly dark enough to blend in with shadows and it wasn’t matte enough to pass of as sand when he had the chance to work in that sort of terrain. The tabby had mainly been relying on tactic to catch his prey, but he knew that he had let more than a few pieces of fresh-kill slip by because he made the clumsy mistake of letting himself be seen.

"Ok, let's go," Coalpaw started towards the camp entrance, glancing back to make sure her new friends were following. She really hoped her plan would work.

Dawnpaw followed coalpaw to the entrance of camp, she made sure lightpaw wasn't listening and wispered to coalpaw, "Coalpaw, should I tell lightpaw how I feel soon."

Lightpaw watched through the corner of his eye, his head tilted in curiosity, as Dawnpaw whispered something to Coalpaw. Eh, probably she-cat stuff, he dismissed half-heartedly— not wanting to the two to feel as if he were interfering with them unjustly, yet still curios enough to want to pester them about their private conversation. My life is struggle, he whined in his head, practically chucking aloud in self-amusment at his sarcastic dramatization while he angled his ears towards the camp entrance as he kept pace with the other apprentices.

Ah, so Dawnpaw caught onto what I was doing, Coalpaw thought. "Yeah, but not quiet yet. I have a plan," she whispered back. "You'll know when to tell him."
The black apprentice shot one last knowing smile at Dawnpaw when Lightpaw caught up with them. Coalpaw led the other two through the territory to a good hunting spot. "You two can hunt here. I'll go over there," she flicked her tail. Before they could protest, Coalpaw shot off in the direction her tail pointed.
"Phase two complete, initiate phase three," she smirked as she ran through the territory.

Dawnpaw nodded to coalpaw. When they reached their hunting spot, coalpaw suddenly took off. "Coalpaw! Where are you.." Before she could finish, coalpaw had vanished. She looked at lightpaw, "She ditched us..."

Coalpaw suddenly jerked to a stop and looked back. "Good, they didn't follow me," she muttered. The apprentice checked where the wind was blowing and circled back to where she left her friends.
She hid in the brush, careful not to make a sound. "Phase three complete, go phase four," she whispered. Hopefully the wind wouldn't change on her and send her scent towards the duo. Now would be the time to tell him, Dawnpaw! Coalpaw willed her friend with all her might to understand why she ditched them.
