APRIL 2015 GATHERING

Raggedpaw was feeling incredibly lost. First Earthpaw had wanted to be friends and leave camp to meet each other, then she'd disappeared to be friends with others. Now there was another she-cat here who was named Willowpaw, and that was literally all he knew of her. "Fighting? I don't think so. We'll get in trouble," he agreed with Willowpaw. Besides, he wanted to keep Rockclan's moves in Rockclan.
"So are we meeting up at the willow tree or not?" He asked, incredibly baffled before looking at Willowpaw with a shrug. Maybe this was why gatherings only happened once a moon. She-cat's made no sense and every other tom was too scared to attend. "Well, I'm Raggedpaw, anyway."

Well Spiderleaf was right bored now that Robinfrost had decided to be all leader-y with his 'responsibility' and such. Really she was proud of him, but the fact that she was now lonely made it hard to focus on the pride. The queen, not really caring where she was, threw herself onto the ground and huffed. This was one things that really annoyed her about the clans. She couldn't have her friends all to herself. What even was this 'sharing' business.

Even looking around, she couldn't spot anyone of particular interest to talk to, and short of scaling the leaders tree, she was alone.

[Willowfall]

"I'm from IceClan." Willowpaw mewed to Raggedpaw. "Who are  you talking to when you asked to meet at the willow tree?" She asked, flicking her tail. She was not exactly sure, but this tom seemed decently respectful, not snapping at a cat not from his own clan. 

[Earthblossom]

"Oh Willowpaw do u wanna meet up at the willow tree on rockclan border? We have permission so don't worry." She mewed, turning her head back to RaggedPaw. "Sorry about the mood swings over here. I had a pretty depressing kit-hood and I'm still letting off some of the emotion. I'm not usually like this." She mewed warmly with a slight smile. She licked both cats on the ear tips and then turned around. "The gathering's over, I'm gonna go now." She smiled over her shoulder and then sprinted up the hill and disappeared into the forest.

"its ok !" She purred. "I'm Lilypaw um I got to go . Baiiii!"

Firepaw nodded, "Yep. I mean, I have Clanmates around, but the point of the Gathering is to talk to other cats. So... um, yeah." He seemed pretty nice. Yet she stopped talking when the she-cat walked back over, saying something about meeting the tom somewhere and then growing furious when he-somewhat-rejected the idea. Though, a part of her guessed this she-cat was quick to assume things.

When she called Willowpaw back over, Firepaw brightened. Though she had said goodbye to the IceClanner before, she was still happy to see her again. "Well, hi again, Willowpaw!" she purred, and then turned to Earthpaw. But she was already leaving.

"U-uh... I see I'm not allowed to go...." she murmured, not really sure if she had wanted to in the first place. But dwelling in it, it didn't seem like a bad idea. And was the Gathering really already over?

"I'm really sorry for that confusion." Raggedpaw muttered, padding back to Firebird as Earthpaw disappeared. It didn't seem like the gathering was over, but if she wanted to go he wouldn't stop her. Besides that, he felt bad enough neglecting the only tom that had tried to talk to him all night. "Makes sense, though now that I'm drowning in new friends I'm not sure if I like the sentiment as much anymore," the tom joked with a wave of his plumed tail.

The apprentice sat, an exasperated sigh escaping his mouth. "Are gatherings always this exhausting?"

[Lionstrike]

Lionstrike had failed to get Blackthorn's attention. I guess I'll ask him about the kits later. Stupid, unawesome cat. The pale she-cat paused, looking around the clearing. It seemed like the Gathering was going to end soon, but she hadn't talked to anyone. That's when she spotted the RockClan queen, Spiderleaf, who looked an awful lot like ... Snap.

The mere memory of the she-cat filled her with hate. But, this cat wasn't Snap. Walking over, Lionstrike nodded to her. "Hello. You must be a RockClan queen."

[Firebird]

Firepaw sat down, her tail curling around her paws and a small yawn halting any talking. But then she went on with a slightly sleepy expression. "I wouldn't know... this is my first one. But I would guess so...." Turning to him, she offered a sweet smile. "So, how has your training been, Raggedpaw? If you don't mind me asking."

[Lilypad]

Lilypaw stumbled and tried offer Firepaw's tail "OH MY CLOUDCLAN!! IM SO SORRY!" she wailed loudly.

Spiderleaf reeled in shock when Leo approached her. No wait, that was silly. The she-cat shook her head, annoyed with herself before facing the other cat. How silly of her to believe that this clan cat was someone she once knew, even if they did share a resemblance. Robbie surely would have told her if Leo was still around.

Spiderleaf smiled pleasantly enough, though it was slightly guarded. "And you must be Treeclan?" She hazarded a guess, tipping her head. "My name is Spiderleaf. Who might you be?"

"Really? Mine too," Raggedpaw purred with a nod. Noticing Firepaw's yawn he tried not to laugh, then accidentally yawned himself. "What I don't get is why these things need to be held during night-time." It was colder and darker, and everybody was tired and cranky. Letting out a sigh, Raggedpaw let his head drop. "It's going pretty well, actually. My mentor is Doestrike, though Spiderleaf and Redfern have also been training me. She-cat's can be incredibly bossy." Then he was reminded of Firepaw's gender and cringed. "Ah..not that I mean anything by that of course! I'm sure you're not bossy."

Lionstrike nodded to the she-cat. She doesn't have the same name. I highly doubt it's her. "I'm Lionstrike. New TreeClan queen. Unfortunately, Applefall retired. But, I enjoy taking charge of the nursery." she replied, giving a smile at the she-cat. It's so weird. They're almost exactly the same.

So this was his first Gathering, too. That made her feel a little better. And it made her giggle when he yawned as well. True, it was kinda tiring to trudge all the way out here just to meet a few new faces. Firepaw liked to get up in the morning, being she was a morning cat. But staying up all night didn't help anyone. But it was nice meeting everyone. So that makes it all okay. "Well, it makes some sense. Either we could spend a whole day talking instead of hunting, or be here now." she said, leaning down to groom her tail.

When Raggedpaw went on to talk about his training, Firepaw listened with respectful interest. And when he made that little comment about she-cats, Firepaw couldn't help but laugh. "Oh please, it's fine. I bet I'm really bossy, too." she purred, thinking back and wondering if she actually was. Well, she-cats naturally were, so it was a likely possibility. "And that's pretty cool how you have three mentors. I have two... or, well, kinda. My former mentor never trained me for awhile, so I fell behind. But then when I got a new mentor, they came back! It was pretty confusing, but my newest mentor-Thrushfang-is still training me currently. Though, I'm nearly a warrior, so that'll be over soon."
