Firebird smiled. She felt glad for her sister, already in her eyes having found her future. But Firebird?-nah. She still was fairly young, no hurry, right? Well, sure, she wouldn't mind having someone to depend on and caring for kits and all that... but at the moment, she really didn't see anyone yet. And she hated thinking such thoughts when they distracted her from her Clan.
"They belong together, don't they? I-I remember Aspenpaw when I was a kit. She was the best sister ever. And Speckheart... well, he's our best friend. I mean, it's a little awkward how he chose my sister, but hey, I support them."

Firebird hadn't thought of that. She didn't know Aspenpaw too well, but... would she do such a thing to Speckheart? She didn't want to believe it. But... that didn't mean it wouldn't happen. No, I trust my sister. And I trust Speck. She thought, giving her fur a shake. "I think we just need to trust them to work it out together."

Firebird curled tighter into herself, hoping to go to sleep. But it just wouldn't come. Was she afraid of having nightmares? Was she just no tired? "So... yeah, what do you want to talk about...? Don't you have an apprentice?"
