Gatherings, these were always... fun. Fadingnight slunk into the clearing much like a shadow at the rear of Treeclan, inhaling scents of cats from every clan. It wasn't that these scents were bad scents, besides maybe Iceclan who constantly carried the aroma of fish. But other than that the cats currently scattered everywhere around her were like any other. Probably slow and uneducated like half of her clan-mates she had met.
Treeclan was indeed her home, but she was also drawn to Fireclan. Where her amber-eyed father resided, of which she had only recently figured out. Luckily enough only her evasive mother and grassland father knew. To Fading it wasn't completely a bad thing, she had the slender build along with the sturdy Treeclan hind-legs. Sometimes good things did come out of the rebellious.
It was at this moment that she was scanning for the familiar grey pelt of her father when she realized at the last minute she was on a collision course with a crimson tom, a deputy of what smelled to be Rockclan. Fadingnight wished she could have caught the scent before her snout crashed painfully into his side, this often being how she met new cats. Causing them anger for some mouse-brained reason before she walked away and made a new enemy. Typical Fadingnight. Typical.

Flamepath let out a small meow in surprise and almost fell over as someone bumped into him, his side stinging with pain for a moment. "Owowowowow..." the deputy muttered as he hopped up and down, still somewhat unbalanced. The deputy got steady on his feet again and shook out his fur. Someone had crashed into him, hard. The tom turned to see it was a she-cat who had collided with him, she was obviously a warrior by the looks of her and just around his own age. "I am sorry I was in your way!" he deputy began, apologizing though he had done nothing really. He lifting a paw and cocking his head, "Are-are you alright?" the tom stuttered as he circled around her once. He tail flicked back and forth behind him nerviously as he waited for the she-cat to speak. He didn't want to cause any trouble at the gathering, the tabby cat might be upset she crashed into someone...who knows if she has a bad temper or not.
The molted tom sniffed the air for a moment, "Treeclan I am guessing? This is not the best circumstance for introductions but I am Flamepath, Rockclan deputy but I am fairly sure you probably already knew that. And your name is?"

"Hello." Snowblossom said to the Tom. "I am Snowblossom." She said. "Who might you be?" She asked. She knew for sure now that this cat was from Fireclan. She smiled warmly for a moment. This wasn't her first gathering and she knew better than to give information to a cat of another clan. Not even her true personality would've be given away. She always acted different at gatherings. At least a little difference. One that gave no sign of what her best trait was. That would give her battle tequnique away completely and it was easy to tell her hobies by her personality. ( Foxclaw, you had said you wanted to meet at a gathering somtime. I missed the last one though.)

He was... apologizing for her mistake? No wonder he was the deputy of Rockclan.
Taking a few steps back she went to rubbing her sore nose a bit before she replied to his array of comments and questions. "My fault..." She trailed, not being much for long explanations and words, her face expression blank but her golden-amber gaze slightly glittery from tears swelling. "Fadingnight, and I'm fine... thanks."
He looked to possibly be around the same age as she was, just slightly bigger. Due to the fact he was male of gender and all. This tom in particular seemed t carry the whole 'true of heart' stature to him, one every cat thought of as a good leader. Always gentle-cats, helping wherever they could, never doing wrong. Basically the opposite of herself.
"Nice to meet you, Path of Flame."
Figuring she had nothing better to do she figured knowing a high ranking cat and keeping him on her good side was a good idea if she ever did get herself into any trouble. It was bound to happy she knew it, inevitable. "If you don't have some big duties to get to, it would be... grand to know a Rockclanner." Basically an invitation to sit down.

- Wolfpaw - Raggedwolf chuckled, relieved by the turn in the tom's behaviour. He'd been expecting a less pleasant welcome. "Buddy? That's a new one," he chuckled, shaking his head in surprise. The conversation was taking a much stranger turn than he'd predicted. "Though I'd much rather be back in my nest, so I suppose I can relate, in a sense." It was the best solace he could offer, considering he seemed to be much more sociable than Wolfpaw himself. In the very least, the apprentice's name made him smile.
With a polite nod, the thick-furred warrior introduced himself. "Raggedwolf, of Rockclan. Valued warrior on my better days, equally valued idiot on my...less better days." He chuckled quietly, turning to view the slowly filling clearing with bashful resignation. "Gatherings are far too much effort. Don't get me wrong, I understand the concept, but would it be too much to ask for a complimentary snack?" ISHY of THQ & ADOXOGRAPHY

Robinfrost lead IceClan into the Shared Clearing. When he got there, he pushed through the crowd in an attempt to find Spidermask. It was hard to see over the crowd, but eventually he spotted a black and white pelt, and he pushed towards it eagerly. "Snap," he said, a real smile growing on his face.

Masquerading as a man with a reason; my charade is the event of the season. And if I claim to be a wise man, well, it surely means that I don't know. On a stormy sea of moving emotion, tossed about, I'm like a ship on the ocean. I set a course for winds of fortune, but I hear the voices say: carry on my wayward son, there'll be peace when you are done. lay your weary head to rest, don't you cry no more.
Wolf The blonde apprentice smiles wryly, lips curling upwards just slightly to reveal a sharp row of teeth. "Glad I could be your first," He jokes lamely, viridian orbs gleaming in amusement; this wasn't so bad. He shrugs a shoulder aimlessly. "Jus' got a thing for nicknames, I s'ppose." Wolfpaw remembers briefly his variety of nicknames for Cloudpaw, but doesn't dwell on it -- locking the memories away for another time. "Yeah, I get that. Nothin' like the safety of your own nest, for sure."
At his next statement, Wolfpaw offers an entertained tilt of his head, vaguely wondering where this tom's sense of humor had come from. It seemed scarce, nowadays. "Raggedwolf: Idiot of RockClan. Noted." The tom states lightly, putting faith into the warrior's laidback personality; a strict correction of his lack of respect was most certainly not what he needed. "You ain't so bad, Wolf," he confesses to Raggedwolf's next words, a snort following suite. "F'it weren't for us bein' it separate clans, I'd say we go get our own complimentary snacks, yeah?" tagged: @birdsspitonme | notes: none template by Sammy @ Adox 2.0

RobinstarSpiderleaf visibly brightened when the Iceclan deputy came into view. "Robbie," she purred in excited welcome, using her tail to touch his cheek warmly. Anything else at a gathering would be unwise, despite what she wanted. "How are you? It feels like ages since I last found an excuse to see you. Are you eating enough? Made any new friends?" She demanded quietly, sidling closer to her best friend with a mock frown. THIS IS THE NEW YEAR

Raggedwolf chuckled, amusement and curiosity lighting his green eyes. "Well, perhaps some day I'll return the favor and be one of your 'firsts'." He remarked with wry humour, fictional eyebrow raising at the apprentice. He purred, lightly brushing his tail over the ground as it circled his paws. "Well, having a thing for nicknames is considerably harmless, compared to the multitude of other disturbing things you could have taken too. Be much harder to befriend you if that were the case, wouldn't it?" He noted thoughtfully, a smirk turning his mouth crooked.
"Oh don't get me wrong I'm all for adventure. Danger, adrenaline, the good guy gets the girl, yeah. I'd just much rather do that after a twenty-four hour power nap." Raggedwolf explained, shaking his head in exasperation. He'd improved since apprenticeship, where he'd been so fat from meals and sleeping that his belly had dragged the ground when he hunted. But at his core, Raggedwolf was primarily lazy. Luckily his loyalty countered that well enough to make him an adequate warrior. "Well, if I'm going to be remembered for something, I'd say being 'not bad' isn't the worst I've heard," the tabby nodded in acceptance, taking it as a compliment. He laughed lightly, almost considering taking Wolfpaw hunting anyway. "I'd say you're just about right, though I'm tempted anyway. You're an interesting one, Wolfpaw. I like you."

Poppynose followed the rest of her clan, head held high. Rockclan was obviously the clan of underdogs, but was in just as good shape as the bigger clans. She hadn't been to a gathering in what felt like ages, but it felt different tonight. She was an apprentice back then, with a fairly simple life, living with nothing to lose. It wasn't like that anymore. She noticed Spiderstar, the leader of Treeclan, but moved her green eyes away and looked down promptly. "No one knows; it's fine. He might be a stupid mousebrain, but not a snitch. He'd probably get in more trouble than me anyway, but no one can ever know. You won't loose them." she mentally reminded herself, sitting down and flicking her tail against the dirt, looking for others to talk to.

Poppynose Vixenleap strolled through the crowd of cats, trying to see if any cat wanted to talk. She was surprised that Thorn was quiet today, not that she didn't like it. Her eyes locked on a lone cat, time for operation actually be social. She walked over to the she-cat, most likely rockclan by the scent. "Hiya, random rock kitty." She said, trying to be polite.

As much as the walk had hurt her old body, Quickfox would still never miss an opportunity to miss some scandal. Very usually, some would take place at a gathering, whether it be a couple of arched backs and raised fur along the spines, it would be something to keep the elder entertained. She took a staggering jump up onto a small boulder to sit on, not leaving too much room for anyone to join her on it by laying down.

Crowwing loved Gatherings, even though he did not really socialize with much cats other than the rest of the medicine cats. The tom ended up laying in the outskirts of the Shared Clearing, watching as cat mingled with one another.

Crevicepaw followed Cloverstar and Flamepath into the Shared Clearing. Although she was still just an apprentice, she was Cloverstar's apprentice, making her competitive with walking along her mentor's side. But that also meant having to walk beside Flamepath. Rules were not something that the apprentice really followed, so she made her way over by walking alongside the deputy. In a way, they were both equals. They both required a large amount of Cloverstar's side. By the time they entered the Shared Clearing, Crevicepaw nodded to the two older cats and zipped away, ready to make new friends. Maybe even meet Crowpaw again. Where was her forbidden friend anyways? She did not want to seem to be desperate, but she wanted to make sure that he was okay. What if Ashmist or Leopardripple punished him for visiting Rockclan? She walked around, peeking into bush after burrow, only to not find Crowpaw. What a shame. Then she saw a tail peeping in front of her and being the immature cat that she was, she started batting it.

Fading paw walked hesitantly into the clearing after her clan. She shuddered at how many cats were here, all the differently smells and pelt shades were making her dizzy. Distracted, she did one thing she didn't do often. Not pay attention. She walked into a cat and jumped back in a mixture of surprise and fear. "I-I'm so-rry. I-I-it was an acc-ident." She stuttered out quickly, not looking the cat she had bumped into in the eye
