Padding gently into the Apprentices' Den, Frostpaw stopped short, suddenly feeling very out of place. She didn't know anyone here, apart from Sprucepaw and Sandpaw, and these days they seemed a little to enamoured with each other instead. Weaving between the nests laid out on the floor, Frostpaw quickly found a clear space for her own nest and settled it down, making it as comfortable as possible. She had a feeling she would need it after long days of training.
Looking around the den, Frostpaw searched for another cat to introduce herself to. It was always nice to have a friend, and to know some cat.

Sprucepaw padded up to the apprentices den and drew a deep breath before entering. he walked stiffly into the den wishing Sandstone was next to him. |

Sandpaw padded into the den and smelt Sprucepaws scent. He padded next to her best friend. "Hello" She purred. Seeing both Frostpaw and Sprucepaw.

Frostpaw sighed softly as the two cats decided to start their lovey-dovey relationship again. It seemed like they were always together! Knowing that she was forgotten for now, Frostpaw returned to her nest, trying to make it more circular in shape. She would be watching, in case any one of them noticed her.
(Sorry, but I've noticed that Frostpaw tends to be written out quite a bit. Probably because I take more time to respond. If you like I'll exit her here.)

Frostpaw smiled at Sprucepaw and nodded politely at him. It felt nice, to be talked to. Collecting her thoughts, she spoke.
"Well, I haven't really met Ivystem yet. So far, she seems like quite a hard taskmaster. I'm to start training before Sunrise tomorrow! But I suppose that it will help me be a better warrior, so I don't blame her. How about you?"

Sandpaw smiled to the two. "Im gonna go find Ratpaw and maybe talk to him." She meowed. 'Re those two talk more.' She thought softly.

Frostpaw contemplated Sprucepaw's question. It was nice to be out of that nursery, for she felt like she was outgrowing it. Somehow, the once giant place now seemed so small when compared to the new worlds that she now knew. As she was thinking, she heard Sandpaw declaring her intent to find Ratpaw. Well, that would be interesting... Briefly, Frostpaw wondered if Sandpaw's little crush on Ratpaw was still there. She hoped that the apprentices could patch things up between them.
Turning back to Sprucepaw and realising with a jolt that they were alone, Frostpaw replied, "I like it quite a bit actually. It's more of a symbol, you know, that we're no longer kits." Musing over the significance of this, she waited for a reply.
(I don't mind if you keep Sandpaw here.)

Nodding in agreement, Frostpaw smiled. It was true that they ha more privileges now, but also more responsibility. They had to feed the clan, and learn the tricks of their trade well, so as to be a good warrior. The privileges were accorded because they were needed to help the apprentices grow. Frostpaw shifted uneasily at the thought. Would she be able to live up to the expectations? Rockclan was a tiny clan, and every warrior counted. Even as an apprentice, there were still ways to serve the clan.
"True, but we do have more responsibility now." She mused aloud.

Frostpaw smiled at Sprucepaw. He seemed ready enough to learn, and she wondered if he would appreciate getting a head start on training with her. It was always good to know more, and it might help them either become a warrior faster or at least help in training. Nodding to herself, she returned to Sprucepaw.
"So, what do you think about getting a head start in training? We could train some if you like, maybe battle training?" Waiting tensely for his reply, Frostpaw wonder what it would be like to battle with the other cat. He looked strong, and she hoped she wouldn't be bested too easily.

He looked up surprised at her question. he sat thinking about it he realized sandpaw was looking for ratpaw, and he didn't have anything better to do. "Ok." He said standing up.
