{i am scarred for life, what the hell is that} Fernpaw nodded in gratitude as Mosspaw brought the moss. She kneaded it out into a thin carpet and flipped over the rabbit, getting the blood on the moss. She cut out a large section of the rabbit's fur, wiped the blood on the excess moss and sheathed her claws. The sudden sheathing made blood fly up and she caught it with her tongue, then licked her lips. {oh god} "Here, take this fur and use it to line your nest. I'll come with you and line mine." she said, picking up her piece of fur and trotting over to the apprentice den happily.

Mosspaw looked horrified at Fernpaw. "What are you doing?" she mewed, eyeing the moss with wide eyes. "That's perfectly good moss!" she stared at Fernpaw who obviously wasn't listening. She lowered her gaze and waited for further instructions. Then there was blood. It flew in the air like rain and spotted Mosspaw's perfectly good pelt. It didn't affect the black parts, couldn't touch the white part but made it look like she had red spots instead of orange spots. She cursed quietly before hearing the instructions that she had waited for. Fernpaw happily trotted past her and Mosspaw stared at the strange pile of blood, messy fur and rabbit meat. She carefully took the rabbit fur and step after step, made her way to the apprentice den.

Fernpaw rolled her eyes and snickered slightly at Mosspaw's comment before arriving at her destination. She pushed past the thickly brambled entrance and went to her nest, closer to the middle than ever. "Don't remember it being this close to the middle." she commented, before quickly and easily placing the rabbit fur down and sitting down on it to mold it to her shape. "Mmm, comfy. How's yours going?"

(Oh lovely. Also, your post was kind of confusing) Mosspaw pressed the fur into her nest and used dry leaves to get out any blood. The fur was clean, sure, but she just wanted to be sure. She ran her paw along the rabbit hide. "It's soft." she replied quietly. "But I think I prefer the moss." she looked up at Fernpaw and told her that she might give it to an elder or a kit. "Who do you think I should give it to?" she asked softly.

{wat why did my post mess up i just realised} Fernpaw raised a brow but said nothing. "You prefer the moss, huh? Is that why your name is Mosspaw?" she asked, then tilted her head. "Maybe the kits. They're gonna grow up to become warriors too, but the elders are past." she said nonchalantly, stretching. "Do you want me to help?"

Mosspaw nodded. That was why she was named Mosspaw. Or because she seemed quite attached to the moss a minute after her birth. "I'm sure the kits would appreciate it," she mewed. "But what about the expecting queens? Would they want it too?" With her paw Mosspaw swiped the pelt up and caught it with her mouth.

Fernpaw flicked an ear and stood up. "Probably. 'Specially cause the queens have a kit, like, every few days." she responds, following Mosspaw outside to the Nursery.
{watched the lion king last night and it was so amazing... the person who played simba looked at me and pointed at me for a dance and i felt special (also the girl who played young nala was the same age as us and i gave her a thumbs up as they were bowing and she smiled at me and i died)}

(We have tickets for that, I feel like it's going amazing. I just saw Star Wars and one does not simply end a movie like that) Mosspaw didn't want to enter the nursery. She sat outside and put the pelt on the ground. She was close to an outcast, she didn't want too much to do with the clan, just some secret training and felt uneasy approaching the nursery. "Uhh, maybe you should give them the pelt." she quickly and quietly confronted Fernpaw

{it will be the best experience of your life, especially if your in the fricking fRONT ROW}
Fernpaw followed Mosspaw all the way to the Nursery. She yawned again and listen tiredly to the other cat and raised an eyebrow. "Why?" the fluffy apprentice asked curiously, tiredness replaced with curiosity.

Mosspaw kicks the dirt, they were weak from the sun and the particles split quickly, turning into dust once they hit the air. She had been friends with Fernpaw since they were kits, however she liked to keep some secrets. "I'm guessing you're better with other cats," she mewed, slowly shoving the rabbit hide towards Fernpaw.

Fernpaw shrugged and grasped the rabbit fur in her jaws, before standing up and walking into the Nursery. After around five minutes, the fluffy-tailed femme returned, her light green eyes twinkling with laughter. "Kits are so sweet." she said, giggling before flicking her tail. "They're also really tiring. I see why you didn't want to go in there." she added, stretching and shaking out her fur. "Come on, let's do something else!"

Mosspaw shook her head. "I've done a lot today," she mewed, "Or at least a lot by my standards." She trotted a few paces to the apprentice den before turning around and looking at Fernpaw. "Besides," she said in a fun, sarcastic way, "I need enough energy to spy on more apprentices tomorrow."

Fernpaw nodded and stifled yet another yawn. "Ok, then, I guess I'll see you around." she said, following Mosspaw to the Apprentice Den and flopping down into her nest. The last flickering rays of sunlight reached her face and she scrunched her nose, flipping over and closing her eyes. "G'night."

(Ok)Mosspaw slowly crouched down before letting the weight of her tired body pull her down completely. "Good night," Mosspaw responded. The apprentice looked out the gaps of the bushes that made up the den and saw small glimpses of flying birds. Grasping a quick glance at Fernpaw, she could tell that her friend was fully asleep. "Thank you," she whispered before closing her own eyes.
(Wow, that was dramatic)
