(Not sure if this is a private thread or not... but if it is, I apologize in advance, and will delete my post.)
Finchpaw was shoving a pile of moss into a corner, right next to some other various materials that were stacked in the corner of the apprentice's den. It had seem that the corner was unoccupied anyways by any nests, and she was tired of having to freely be among the other apprentices, with no way to really observe properly in a private and silent way. Yes, she was ignored most of the time, but it just felt too crowded and uncomfortable for her, so she was getting materials to help her have a small little shelter to observe from in the den. Perhaps it was a childish notion, but she still clung to some of her kithood ways, and this was one of them that she was trying to keep doing. The apprentice had to try to go find more moss, however, since there didn't seem to be many supplies lately, and she found it necessary to save the best ones for the other apprentices to nest-build anyway. It was not her place to take the best moss and materials, after all.
While on her way to search out some, however, she almost bumped into an apprentice in the den. Her eyes widened in realization as she began to pad forward, and quickly and nimbly ducked to the right of the cat. She was able to avoid an embarrassing or annoying collision, however, though she did brush a bit too closely to the other cat while trying to avoid it, almost shoving. It wasn't intentional, but she didn't really pay mind at first, until she realized it. "Oh. Um..." She stepped aside further, stuttering in an awkward way, not sure what to say. The she-cat crouched a bit more and muttered. "S...sorry." It was a slow procedure to utter the words, but she did it, because of accidentally getting in the other cat's path, waiting for acceptance about the whole shameful situation, though she didn't necessarily need it.

so sorry but I forgot to say that this is a open thread.
Silverpaw walked over to the apprentice and whispered a question. ''Do you ever want to know who your father is or why you do not know about him?" she continued. "Because I want to learn all about my father" she was excited to learn about others.

(Ah, okay, it's fine then dear. (: )
Finchpaw pinned her ears when the other apprentice stepped closer, very confused, and unsure of why the other cat, Silverpaw, was doing this. Surely the apprentice wasn't that angry, was she? If so, it wasn't exactly unwarranted, but it would be a bit annoying too. She tilted her head when the other apprentice uttered a question, a very puzzling one. Was the other one trying to punish her by giving her a riddle? A maybe cruel treatment of younger apprentices, but she actually would welcome a challenge, or anything that would need to be figured out. She assumed that the whispered question was a form of scolding, and gave it some thought. "Father..." She tried out the word thoughtfully, letting it roll off her tongue in a smooth way, for she hadn't really given her father much thought lately since she was young.
She had thought about it, yes, after learning about fathers and mothers, but eventually she had accepted with a bit of disappointment that fathers were not something to be questioned about, and that they simply did not visit their children at all. Though, she didn't have much concept of what a father was, so there wasn't too much disappointment to be had. "Yes." She admitted, however, for she had to be truthful about such things, even if she hadn't given the matter thought in a while. "They must not like to visit kits. They must not like us." She predicted, her ears going back against her head further, for she immediately assume the negative, for maybe fathers were really ashamed of their offspring, or maybe they were too busy to visit, even though that was unlikely. It was becoming an unpleasant topic for her, however, and she was tiring of this small 'scolding' situation. As she began to shift her weight, however, in an uncomfortable way, something else rather pessimistic occurred to her, and her eyes widened at an unsettling prospect. "What if... we not have fathers at all?"
(Heh, this thread is a bit ironic. xD )

Silverpaw was happy that someone answered her . " Hey do you want to play a game with me" she asked eagerly.
