Spruceclaw
"This snow is sooo irritating. Always cold and drafty." Okay, she was just talking outloud but otherwise happy as snow fell bit by bit, shaking it off as she walked into camp. Seeing a round snow ball shaped as a rock she pawed it ahead as it rolled making a trail on the ground.

"Well there's something you dont see everyday. a kit in a warriors body." The large brown tom mewed playfully. he thought it was good to forget the troubles of the world and play as a kit sometimes. Spruceclaw thought he recognized this stranger. yes, he was sure of it. this cat had been one of the first to congratulate him. "Umm... swirlpaw... that's your apprentice. i remember from the ceremony... right?" Spruceclaw asked tryin to remember all he could about the ceremony although he had been somewhat distracted and shocked.

Few moment later she heard a comment and turned around to see a brown tom,"Hey! Play is important too." She replied back in a playful manner than heard his question, taking a good look at him, she said,''Oh yeah! Your Spruceclaw, so how's warrior life?" AT the mention of her apprentice she nodded,"She's mine, yes. And yours was Dogpaw I think?"

"Yeah that's right he's my apprentice." Spruceclaw mewed. "Its not what i expected. its not as exciting as i thought. although my mate and apprentice keep me on my toes." He mewed smiling at her. "So how long have you been a warrior?" He asked curiously.

She understood,"I understand, the excitement of becoming a warrior is thrilling but once you are one, that excitement and happiness just kinds of wear off, that what happened?" Smiling,"I bet Swirlpaw and Dogpaw are friends." Why wouldn't they be? The question of how long she's been a warrior came up and she thought as her tail flickered within the snow, flicking up snow debris.
"Umm.." Focusing on the snow below her paws,"Have you heard of the leaders before Cloverstar came into the picture?" She asked, looking at Spruceclaw.

"Dogpaw is not the mist sociable. once he knows you hes fine but he takes a little warming up." spruceclaw mewed thinking of his apprentice.
"Oh, I'm sorry i have to remember my manners. shouldn't ask a lady about her age." Spruceclaw said emberassed as he looked at his paws. "No, I'm the new warrior remember as far as i know cloverstar still has all her lives. I've never even heard of any others. i didn't spend much time with the elders as a kit. i spent my time with the ladies. i was a casinova as a kit , flirting all the time and all." he mewed smiling .

Her jaw dropped, surprised when he said age,"I'm old at all! I'm still learning things that are sort of, kind of challenging." Windswirl stuttered for that moment than chuckled but silenced and continued listening to Spruceclaw. Saying he was a new warrior and all, she interrupted,"I know, we met at your ceremony remember?" Smile. As he continued he spoke of elders," I met one elder and that was I think a guy named Weedtail and another Smokeyeyes. but that was when I was an apprentice." Looking at Spruceclaw, she could see why he was a flirt,"Awe, that's cute. You did mention you have a mate? Lucky tom she gots." Windswirl complimented happily.

Spruceclaw chose to move off the age topic using the life line she gave him. "Thanks yah she's pretty lucky." Spruceclaw mewed with a smug grin. "What about you any toms?" He asked looking at her expectantly.

She shook her head shyly,"As an apprentice I did but uh, things were kind of nuts. I and another liked this one tom and he couldn't decide who to take, very flirtatious so it he kept teetering back and fourth, not knowing who to choose.." She sheepishly smiled with a shrug.

"Maybe you should try and find someone. it nice to have someone at your side. i can't see why he wouldn't choose you though. if i didn't have a mate you could count yourself lucky to be a possibility." He mewed a cocky grin appearing on his face. "There i go again. flirting, if sandy saw me shed scold me like a kit." He mewed laughing.

"It is nice to have that companionship with someone." The cats I knew as friends left=inactive. She agreed a little solemly,"But that's ok, I'm in no rush-", Windswirl replied and at his flirt comment, even if it was nice she laughed,"That's nice to say! One day someone will come." As that mischevious grin formed on his muzsle, she flung snow in his face playfully, wind picking it up a little it did look like mist.
" Haha! Yes,I bet she would! But that shows she really cares about you." Windswirl said.

"Woah! Snow! " Spruceclaw yelled stumbling back as he was hit by the snow. a sly grin came over his face. "Take this!" He mewed flinging snow at her. "You were right play is important." He mewed before sending snow in her direction.
"Yah i love her. We've had our ups and downs but we pull through it together." He mewed losing his playful look but smiling like a giddy kit.
"So what's it like training a blind apprentice ?" He asked wrapping his.bushy tail around his paws.

"Haha." She laughed as snow hit him in the face and she dodged when she was being striked. Sitting she nodded,"Oh, Swirlpaw? It's going well, a little different. First I am training. She learned the borders at first, the rest will be easy..I think. Hunting and battle training shouldn't be too difficult even if she's blind?"
With the last part she gave him a hopeful unsure glance.

"I've a friend who has a blind apprentice. her apprentice is disrespectful and rude to her. although I'm sure you're right about yours." he mewed giving a reassuring nod."how many apprentices have you had before this one?" He asked curiously.

"Rude you say? Hm, well everyone has their own personality traits, some are born stubborn." She replied,"I don't think I had a disrespectful apprentice but there's usually some reason behind it."
How many apprentices she had?
"I have trained Anomenlight and Silverstripe. Swirlpaw is the third."
