( If you haven't already, go read this thread :3 and, since IceClan is moving to loner territory, I'd appreciate if most threads could be ended or put on hold—unless your's is a training thread. All ceremonies and sign ups will require you to post in the current threads on IceClan boards [ceremonies, activity check, mother's thread, etc], except patrols, since there will be a new thread stickied in IceClan's new home [here]
This thread will consist of the actual avalanche and crossing into the loner territory, but once they've settled in the barn, you are allowed to RP freely. Any following plots relating to this one will be stickied [such as conflicts with The Rovers]. Deaths [Cheetahpaw & Badgerpaw ] and injuries will happen in this thread :3
Other than that, normal rules apply! No flooding out the thread, no double posting, no power playing, etc. That's it! )
It was fairly early in the morning, but Robinstar was awake—he had a lot on his mind. He gazed through the covering of the leader's den's entrance, noticing that, for once, the sun was shining weakly through the clouds. Hopefully the days would begin to warm. His thoughts were cut short as a loud rumbling in the distance hit his sensitive ears, and ground vibrating slightly. It wasn't an earthquake, he deduced instantly, otherwise it would've stopped. Confused, the tabby leader padded into the fresh air, looking up from Highstone.
Frosty eyes widened as the spotted the huge white wall of snow coming down that mountain and great speeds. His heart began to race, and he glanced around frantically to see that IceClanners were beginning to rise from their nests. There was still time to escape—but every second he wasted, the avalanche was getting closer. "Avalanche! IceClan, evacuate to the border!" He bellowed loudly, his voice echoing across camp. The rumbling didn't stop. He prayed to CloudClan that he'd see his Clan waiting at the Thunderpath that separated IceClan from loner territory as he leapt down from the large rock.
( Please don't get too chaotic. I'll post again when the avlanche actually hits camp and the territory surrounding.
Aanddd... Go! )

Badgerpaw stood by the apprentices den, looking at the blue cloudy sky. He was lazy and didn'twant to get up for patrol, but the rumbling is what bothered him. He stared up at the mountains and saw a huge slide of snow sliding down. He hardly heard Robinstar's warning as he shouted for his denmate. " Crevicefrost! We need to go!"

Azaleapetal was horrified when a deep rumbling shook the earth around her. Having been seated just outside the warriors den and enjoying the chilly weather of IceClan, which was a contrast she liked compared to TreeClan, the she-cat had been startled by the faint sound that only grew louder. Her frosty eyes darted up towards what she assumed was the direction of such a sound, and sure enough, a great cloud of snow was speeding towards the IceClan camp. Terror drove the she-cat to her paws as she then heard Robinstar's howl of an avalanche and evacuation. So much for a peaceful settling in to her new home.
Whirling around she faintly heard her apprentice cry out for a different cat before she stumbled into the warriors den and searched for Freezefeather. "Freezefeather?!" she cried, her eyes trailing over each nest. Yet she had no clue the location of her mate, and the avalanche was only growing closer! Oh CloudClan, let me find him! I'm not leaving until I know he's okay!

Mousekit was sleeping dreamlessly—that was, until the rumbling had started. At first the kitten had dismissed it as the low murmuring of kittens and queens, and went back to his rather boring sleep. However, the rumbling didn't die down, and, he suddenly realized, the ground was rumbling beneath his shoulders. Curious, the little tom padded out into the open. His eyes were met by a Great Wall of seething white rolling its way down the mountain towards camp. It looked strangely like snow—but could snow move? He hadn't thought so, originally, at least without the assistance of a cat. But had he thought wrong? He tilted his head, frowning slightly as he thought. Could it talk and think, as well? No, that's silly. Snow doesn't have a brain. His eyes shifted towards Highstone as Robinstar emerged, shouting something about evacuating towards the border. Avalanche. Is that was this was? It didn't seem all that bad from far away, and, in his experience, snow was light and fluffy. It didn't seem like it could do any harm. Perhaps in large quantities it would be heavier and dangerous—everyone seemed to think it was. He wasn't stupid, he knew he needed to get out. He stood there, though, for a few moments more. It was so... interesting to watch, the way the snow rolled over itself like waves, growing bigger and bigger as it came closer, picking up snow. Thoughts ran through his mind—some might think him odd, but in reality he just proffered to look at things with a more philosophical view. Not only that, but he didn't know where to go and he would rather not wander through the territory aimlessly as such a great threat grew closer. Perhaps he could find someone to direct him—after all, he'd rather do it himself. He was going to be a great warrior, and he didn't need help.

The rumbling woke me, and I was absolutely not happy about it. I lifted my head from the spot in my nest, my icy eyes narrowing. I was just standing up and cleaning my fur when I heard Robinstar's voice call out in the clearing. Avalanche...? What in CloudClan's name is that? I padded out of the den quickly, spotting the rush of snow coming down the mountain. I panicked before going to where Robbie stood. "Robinstar! Help me get the kits out. Tell any available cat to pick up one or two kits and run. They must be saved first!" Maybe it was the inner mother coming out of me. I looked at him in panic. "Make sure Pinekit gets out safely." I wasn't going to leave until every kit was out.

Phantomkit sat in his den, a breeze of cold filling the surrounding area as he stretched and woke up. 'What's all this commotion?' Phantomkit thought to himself. Whatever it was however, he felt that it wasn't anything good.
He padded out into the main area of the clan and watched as Robinstar went onto Highstone. He looked at him with awe. He was fascinated by the leaders and everything they could do. He could barely hear the words that Robinstar spoke, but he did hear one thing that got his attention. Avalanche.
He turned around and saw the mountain of snow barreling down towards IceClan. He stopped and stared. It was amazing and terrifying all at once. Snow was harmless, but a lot of snow together could destroy.
He shook his head, snapping back to reality. He had to go to Thunderpath. That was the border. He began to start running. He ran past a kit just watching the avalance {Mousepaw}, and hit him on the shoulder with his tail as he ran.
"Cmon, we have to go! We need to make it to Thunderpath!"

The rumbling had confused Wolfmist at first. She'd never experienced anything like it, and it certainly didn't follow the guidelines of stories of earthquakes. However, Robinstar's announcement made everything clear. An avalanche. She glanced towards the mountain to see a looming hill of snow coming straight at them, and, for a moment, she froze.
Wolfmist looked around for Lionsmoke, but through all the chaos, she couldn't see him. So, instead, she made her way to the nursery in hope that she could do something useful until she found him. She wouldn't leave without him—she couldn't risk losing her mate again.

Before jumping down from Highstone, Robinstar immediately scanned for Spidermask and Lionstrike. Finding one but not the other, he ran towards her. "Leo—you need to get out! Now! You're going to get hurt!" He said, forgetting to call her by her new name in his panic. "I'll get the kits. Pinekit. And I'll get other warriors to get the rest. Go!" He nudged her, heart beating fast. He couldn't risk one of his best friends getting hurt, or worse, dying.
He gave her a pleading look, before turning to face the oncoming avalanche. It was almost upon them. He watched as some ran and some stayed to help. "Those of you who are willing, help me get the kits out!" He shouted over the rumbling, just before the wall of snow crashed into camp.

Mousekit looked to his right as a black and white tom passed by him, tapping him on the shoulders with his tail. He nodded silently, watching as the other kitten ran. How did he know exactly where to go? The tabby tom looked around the area, not sure who to approach for direction. Everyone was running, it seemed, and he was the only one standing still. Shortly after Robinstar's command to help the kits, the avalanche hit camp. It flattened pine trees and buried rocks in feet of snow. Mousekit watched with wide eyes, feet frozen to the ground, before he bolted towards the entrance. He ran blindly, not entirely sure where to go. He say cats streak past him, much faster than he was on such short legs. The avalanche was chasing him, like a fox. That was all he could compare it to in such a state of panic. What if I die? He knew it was a possibility. He was too slow to make it, and, unless a warrior picked him up, he'd be crushed by the snow.

ADDERVENOM OF ICECLAN Addervenom had been in the middle of sorting some herbs when he felt the ground trembling. That was unusual, and unusual almost certainly meant that it was bad. Sure enough - he stepped out into the camp with narrowed eyes and saw a moving wall of snow rushing down upon the camp.
"Everyone get out!" yowled the medicine cat, glancing around in a panic. "Help the elders and kits!" It looked like some cats were already moving towards the nursery, but Maplefrost and Windflurry would also require assistance - Adder knew Maple was blind and he'd need a guide. The pale tabby tom hurried towards the elders' den but he wasn't fast enough; the avalanche had already reached them.
The weight of the snow was sudden and crushing; he was tossed about for several long moments like a leaf in a strong breeze, Then the avalanche seemed to move away, further down the mountain, leaving the camp buried and decimated. It took Addervenom a while just to regain his senses and start to work on freeing himself. It was harder than it seemed: he had no idea which way was up, and everything ached. He couldn't hear anything, either - he wasn't sure whether that was due to his normal half-deaf state, or if the avalanche had messed up his hearing even more.
He was lucky, though: a nearby boulder had saved him from the worst of the impact, so it wasn't impossible to dig himself out. Addervenom emerged after scraping at the snow and debris for what felt like ages. He shook himself off, shivering and slightly disoriented. The camp was a disaster zone; who else had been trapped here? WORDS: 281 || WRITTEN FOR: IceClan NOTES - n/a template by Margie @ Adoxography v2

MAPLEFROST OF ICECLAN Maplefrost was sleeping like a rock in the elders' den. The calico only awoke, startled, after the avalanche struck camp. He could hear the den creaking around him; it seemed in danger of collapsing. What was he supposed to do? The elder managed a loud, fearful yowl before the roof began to sag. So this was it. With no other options left, he curled around Windflurry in the hopes of protecting her, at least a little, and braced himself. As a Maine Coon, he'd always been a fairly large cat. Yet that would only do so much to help them - their fate was largely in CloudClan's paws now. The avalanche finally flattened the elders' den and everything was drowned out in the rushing roar of the snow. Cinnamonpaw, fortunately, was quicker to react to the impending disaster. The bobtailed apprentice stepped sleepily out of the apprentices' den when he heard some sort of commotion outside - and was promptly startled to full awareness upon realizing what was going on.
He hurried towards the camp entrance; with his weight issues, he'd need all the head start he could get. Cinnamon had always been a slow runner. But he faltered upon catching sight of some of the kittens attempting to flee. Maybe he could carry one of them?
The ginger-and-white tom ran towards Phantomkit, attempting to scoop up the youngster as he rushed along. Hopefully some of the other warriors and apprentices would help the rest of the Clan members who couldn't make it on their own.

Phantomkit rushed past the kit as soon as he nodded his head. He kept running. Behind him he could hear as the snow crashed into the camp.
That forced him to a halt. He turned around the avalanche beginning to cover the camp with snow and ice. He fought back tears as he watched his home get destroyed. He looked down. He had to avert his eyes from the crisis, as it was causing him too much distress.
He took one last look at the camp before turning around and running again. He knew that the border was near the giant Thunderpath. He would just follow the other cats. He refused to look behind him, because if he did look at it, he would become to emotional.
He turned around, and the impact of the snow hit him and swept him into it's cold depths. He was substantially buried, but it wasn't impossible to get out. He hadn't sustained any injuries, which he was thankful about. He dug himself out and looked around. The territory was destroyed.
He shook himself off and got up, running and running. He felt himself beginning to be scooped up by Aloepaw/Andri , an apprentice. He shook and resisted and dropped to the ground. He stopped and gave him a look that said, 'I can handle myself,' And then he began to run.
He got to the border where Robinstar said to meet, and he lay down, waiting for his clan-mates to arrive.

Avalanche? What was that? Was it something that would play with him, by any chance?
Squirrelkit poked his head curiously out of the nursery in time to get a good view of the enormous wall of snow and ice heading towards him. That didn't look friendly, and it made him feel just a tiny bit afraid, though he wasn't sure why. All of his Clanmates were leaving, it seemed - the grey kitten wasn't too sure what to do, so he figured he'd just follow the crowd out of camp.
He was pretty quick for his age, but he'd never been outside in the territory before, so he ended up tripping almost immediately after getting through the camp entrance. Squirrelkit let out a pained squeak after tumbling to the ground, and laid there in a tangle of clumsy limbs. He didn't like this game anymore.

( I just randomly stumbled over here and was like, "Okay..." XD )
"Hrrngh... What's going on...?" Dreamkit awoke groggily, only to find, to her shock, that the Clan cats were evacuating for some reason. She had been asleep this whole time so she had no idea what was going on, and her heterochromatic eyes flashed around in confusion. "What's going on? Why is everyone running? What's that rumbling noise? What did I miss?!" she called out above all the commotion, a little scared, but not too much, she knew that someone must have a plan for this.
( And could ya'll excuse any lazy posting? )
