Rookkit had already set several paw-steps on the Thunderpath when he had heard the coughing. For moment he froze, his racing mind thinking that this might be the sound of a "monster", but after a few moments he deduced what it actually was. He looked frantically around, trying to figure out where the source was coming from. It took a few minutes for him to spot @angel2403 among all the white snow, but when he did he raced over.
"Are you okay?" he mewed worriedly, running his tail along her spine in an attempt to ease her coughing. "Come on, we're almost safe. We just have to cross the Thunderpath," he nodded towards the other side of the road, where the other cats had gathered, hoping the little she-kit would be able to make it across.

Thankfully, by now Duskrise was able to gather himself well enough to hear what came next.
The clan needed to keep moving. Including him. He took a deep breath and looked over the thunderpath. Cats were already moving across. He took a deep breath. There wasn't a monster racing up and down the path at the moment. He moved his paws to dash across the Thunderpath. When he made it, his head dropped down, as his legs kept him propped upright. He took deep heavy breaths.

She shook at his words and backed up slightly, fear taking over." I c-cant!" She protested softly, watching the loud monsters zoom by. Featherkit's jaw chattered quietly and she couldn't help but wonder if she would die or not. Surely even with the larger tom-kit to help her she wouldn't make it, her stubby legs weren't fast enough to beat the monsters across, she was sure of that much. She knew she couldn't stay here with the avalanche, who knew when it would stop. She pressed against Rookkit, seeking warmth and unsure whether to cross or not. Her mind was fogged with pain and she was sure one of her small ribs had cracked due to her wheezy breathing. Everything hurt but Featherkit refused to show her pain, even as a kit she didn't want people thinking she was weak, she knew she was small for her size but that didn't mean cats had to look down on her. At least mentally.

Darkpool's deep blue eye scanned the crowd for wounded that she could carry as she limped forward. She spotted a familiar black pelt and limped over. It was Rookpaw, with a white cat. "You two kids ok?" she asked, scanning the Thunderpath with a narrowed eye.

Featherkit was positive she had seen the she cat before, she just couldn't remember her name." I think so." She forced her voice to run smoothly, it wasn't completely a lie, she knew her wounds weren't even close to fatal but that didn't make her ok either. She flicked her cold ears softly and winced in pain, she wasn't sure why but her ear felt like it was burning. She had heard stories of cats setting on fire and she was sure this is what it must feel like. She only now realized her pelt was completely weighed down by snow, she must have got caught by the avalanche before. Everything was a blur and she couldn't remember. Featherkit slowly stood, holding back a hiss of pain. Now she definitely knew she wouldn't make it across.

Buzzardkit stood frozen. Her olive eyes scanned the crowd of cats. "What's going on" the kitten mewed. She was confused but scared at the same time. Buzzardkit' sees fixed on the Thunderpath. I'll will never make it if I run across. The she-kit curled her tail around herself trying to keep warm.

Darkpool shook her head and gave a small smile. She could easily see that the little white she-kit was in pain. The way she moved, and in her eyes were huge giveaways. "I'll carry you across. Rookpaw, don't die, alright?" the black cat said, easily picking up the ball of white. Her muscles tensed, and then she sped across the Thunderpath, completely ignoring the searing pain in her foot. She stumbled as she got across, and quickly placed the white cat on the ground in front of her. Dark pool gave a few swift but gentle licks across the kit's head to sooth her, then slumped down into a sitting position as she waited for the burning sensation to dissipate.

Dappledleaf watched as cats rushed forward in groups; like a river moving steadily. She stopped halfway in her tracks as she noticed Buzzardkit and she started running back, her paws scraping against the rough path. Wincing slightly, she ran back over to get Buzzardkit . "Come on, Buzzardkit," she mewed lightly, before nudging the she-kit softly with her larger head. "It's time to get going. Don't worry, I can carry you across if you want me to."

She curled her tail around her small body obediently as she was carried across, it was an instinct for her to be completely still. Her heart beat picked up as the she cat sped across the thunderpath, swaying softly in her mouth." Thank you." She murmured breathlessly as she was placed down, leaning into the she cats comforting licks. She noticed the larger felines face was contorted slightly and she stood in front of her, tilting her head." Are you ok?" Worry was evident in her eyes as she leaned forward, perking her ears.

Rookkit licked @angel2403's head comfortingly as she spoke to him, attempting to sooth her as he tried to figure out what to do. I think I'll be able to carry her across... he thought, judging the size of the Thunderpath. A part of him was scarred to cross it, after all this was his first time out of camp and his first time seeing the road--plus the snow hurtling towards him didn't make the situation any more comfortable. Not that he would admit this aloud. His head snapped to the side when Darkpool arrived. "I'm okay," he meowed, choosing to ignore his stinging paw-pads. He had never ran so much in his life, and his soft, pink paw-pads had taken quite a bit damage. The cold of the snow eased it though, and it only really bothered him when he stayed still. The black kitten looked over at Featherkit. She seemed much worse for wear. There's no way she'll make it across on her own, he thought, feeling a wave of relief wash over him when Darkpool offered to carry the young she-kit across the Thunderpath. "You'll be safe with her," Rookkit mewed to Featherkit softly, guiding her towards the warrior with his tail before turning to Darkpool and giving her a thankful nod. "I'll be fine," he gave a confident grin, "you just worry about getting her to safety. I'm gonna go check to see if anyone else needs my help; I'll find you guys on the other side of the Thunderpath when this is over!" he mustered up the best charming wink he could before racing off alongside the Thunderpath, searching for any cat in need of his service.

No matter how confident the tom-kit was she was scared for him, he was travelling back to the wasteland called home, alone. Featherkit almost called after him but quickly decided against it, he wouldn't have come back anyways. She just hoped he was safe and wouldn't run into any trouble. She felt, to say the least, pathetic. She hated the fact she had to be carried across the thunderpath by a warrior, she hated the fact she was to scared to cross over on her own. She felt useless, even the tom kit was doing more then making an injured warrior carry him across. He was helping and she was being a burden. Now she was watching the she-cats movements with concern, positive she was hurt but unsure what to do. Instead she sat near the gut wrenching black path, waiting nervously for Rookkit's return. She barely knew him but he was her clan mate after all and had comforted her, the least she could do was wait for him

( Let's wrap this up :3 )
After the last of the cats had crossed, waiting for him on the opposite side of the Thunderpath, Robinstar followed across. He walked a bit slower than normal due to Lionstrike draped across his back, but he made it before another monster roared by. He pushed his way to the front of the group, pausing to get his bearings. He didn't exactly want to go back to the barn—but it was for the greater good of the Clan, so that's what he would do.
He headed into loner territory with the large band of cats trailing behind him, walking towards the barn.
( Thread over! All rping will be done here )
