robinheart could feel his throat closing up with fear. he fought to stay above the coming snow, but already more than once, he had plunged in deep and nearly suffocated. his lungs burned fiercely with the cold, and the black and white warrior coughed up a mix of blood and melted snow. his eyes stung, body screaming in pain. he saw his daughter, calling for her brother. robinheart panicked, tried to go back, failed. he was being carried away by the current of cats. no, no, no, they need to get out. "Beetlepaw, get you and your brother out! don't stay here!" the tom couldn't do much else, and he was beyond terrified and disappointed in himself, but he couldn't dwell on that. lightfall wouldn't let him. he herded his clanmates forward, yelling to go towards the thunderpath.

mallowpaw cursed at his white pelt. snow was coming down in waves, and despite his big size, the fact that he blended in with the assault only made it so that he constantly got knocked down and pushed around. his blue eyes were the only color he had against the white storm, and they were filled to the brims with terror. he needed to find his sister. in the distance, he heard his father call out for them, but it was muffled with the sound of his thoughts chanting beetlepaw, beetlepaw. i have to find her, have to get her out.
mallowpaw cried out as a rock knocked the wind out of him, and he could feel warm blood running down his chest. he gasped. he saw his sister's small form darting around the apprentices' den. it took all of his strength to even scream, "Beetlepaw, over here! you need to get out!" his eyes stung, his throat burned, but he reached her, grabbing at her scruff. his vision blurred and spun, and the tom stumbled about. he weakly pushed at her. "go. thunderpath. please, go. i'm right behind you."

rosepaw didn't like this one bit. the dilute tortoiseshell had no clue where to go, it was too loud, he couldn't find any of his siblings, and he was scared. the apprentice stumbled around, getting hit by the snow and escaping cats. the pain of breathing in icy air and getting slashed at by a jagged piece of rock. he sobbed, shaking. "help! mom! dad! orchid! i-i don't know wh—" he couldn't even continue to talk. he was planted where he was, struck dumb as he watched the avalanche continue with promise of burying him alive.

Crevicepaw was worried. Really worried. Her clan was in danger and Crevice did not want to lose Badgerpaw. "Badgerpaw I'm going to go help the the elders." she murmured wanting to help as much as she could but also she did not want to lose Badgerpaw

Dreampaw ran back to the camp. There might have been more cats that needed help during the avalanche. The camp was snow-covered when she got there.

Wolfpaw gripped Lakepaw's scruff tighter as Silentpaw stepped away. He looked back at the camp for the last time, then turned his attention back to his friend. "Please be safe." He said, flinching as the sound of crashing snow was heard behind them. Without waiting for a reply, he tightened his hold on Lakepaw and shot off again. He soon caught up to a larger crowd of cats. He held his head high, not wanting the she-cat to touch the ground. "Sorry if this is uncomfortable. It won't last long." He muffled, unsure if @jcoonfrost heard.
He smiled as Silentpaw rejoined them. It looked like she was stumbling a little. His smile quickly switched to a frown, and his eyes went down to the cat she was holding. "Are you okay? I can take two, if you want." Wolfpaw lowered his head, ready to snatch onto Riverpaw if she said yes.

Dreampaw ran back to the Thunderpath, hearing the avalanche behind her. When she crossed it, she was panting and scared out of her wits.

Miatu didn't respond as RiverPaw asked of her name. She couldn't respond, and not only due to the scruff she gripped onto, her racing heart, and the shooting pain in her left foreleg. She followed out of camp just as she spotted a few more cats remaining, struggling to get the elders out. She wished desperately that she could help them, and her other lost looking den mates, however she knew she could only do so much. The apprentice soon found herself leaning partially against her friend, hearing the worry in his muffled words. At his offer she shook her head entry, carefully not to jog Riverpaw. Once the going was easier, she placed the young Tom on the ground and gave him a gentle nudge, it's be safe enough for him to walk on his own now. However, she kept her muzzle near him and eyes trained on the path ahead of him rather than herself. Briefly, crossing an easy patch, she averted her attention to her two friends. She nuzzled @bark briefly, dismissing his worry, despite her clenched jaw, limping, and slight shake of her head. "Don't worry about me" she mouthed silently to him, giving his cheek a lick before touching her nose to @jcoonfrost 's ear and Riverpaw's ear in turn. Soon enough they four of them would reach the thunder path. She could hear it, the roaring causing her little fear. She wasn't afraid of monsters, not anymore. Not like she should be. Lakepaw Lakepaw was pretty blank on everything, only remembering Riverpaw, snow, and the.. Thunderpath?? As soon as she got to her senses she said, "I think I can walk.. now," she tried to say to Riverpaw, but she never felt so confused in her small young life.

Wolfpaw gently placed @jcoonfrost down, padding around her and continuing by her side. He then shook his head and looked the other way, turning his attention to Silentpaw . "No, you don't seem too good. Lean on me if you have to, I don't want to see you using that bad leg." He offered her a shoulder, and looked over at Lakepaw and Riverpaw. They were just fine, though Lakepaw looked a little lost. He just chuckled quietly. "I bet we're almost there! I wonder what it'll look like." He said aloud to the group, trying to put a cheerful spin on things.
Then they reached the thunderpath. He stopped and looked to see what the rest of the clan was doing. They'd only have to copy their example. His eyes immediately went to his friend's injured leg. 'Will she make it across in time?' He was about to ask, but then a cheek lick stopped him. His ears fell hot with embarrassment, and he wasn't sure what he was going to say anymore. 'Now is not the time!' Gathering himself up, he focused back on the other two. "Lakepaw, RiverPaw , when do you think is the best time to cross?" He asked, genuinely wanting to get their input.

Badgerpaw hesitated as he watched his friend leave his side, but he decided to not get in anyone's way and leave. He turned around slowly and didn't see the snow as he ran. It took a few moments and a little thorns to the pelt from running trough a thorn bush to reach the thunderpath.
He didn't know what to say or do. He watched some other apprentices as they waited for the right moment to cross, but Badgerpaw couldn't wait. He ran across the thunderpath, managing to get halfway before a small monster almost trampled him. Badgerpaw breathed in heavily and finished racing across.

Crevicepaw looked around for the elders who were nowhere to be found. The she-cat kept looking until a few rocks fell onto her hind leg. The camp was crushed she could not do anything more.

MAPLEFROST OF ICECLAN It felt like ages before the rumbling of the avalanche ceased, or at least moved away; and longer still before there were muffled voices from above. Maplefrost could hear paws starting to scrape at the mess of snow and debris. For once, he was thankful that the den roof had never been repaired; it was weak, which made it easier to push through when the cats above had cleared some of the snow pinning him down. The calico rose from the wreckage after a brief struggle, feeling cold and sore but otherwise mostly unharmed for now. But there was no time for him to rest right now. "Windflurry? Did you get her out?" Maplefrost asked the cats who had been digging: Sunfish and Rowansky, going off their scents. Instead of evacuating the ruined camp like many others, he turned back towards his former den and began to claw at the snow in a panic. "Windflurry? Luckily for Squirrelkit, an apprentice picked him up by the scruff and carried him away. He stayed still, letting Crevicepaw take him to safety, although he still wasn't sure what was happening. But the older feline appeared to know what she was doing, so he allowed himself to be brought to… wherever this was.
The grey kitten looked around timidly once he had been released. Everything looked unfamiliar, and in spite of the fact that some of his Clanmates were gathering in this general area, he didn't like being so far from camp. "I want to go home," Squirrel murmured to nobody in particular, fluffing up his thin fur against the cold as he waited at the border.
