Foxstrike shouldn't have been thinking.
That much was painfully clear to him, since as soon as he started, his mind began to whirl. Much of his conflicting feelings, about his father, and Hornetstripe, had calmed down, but as soon as that had happened, Spiderstar had made his announcements. Peace of mind was mocking him- it was forever out of reach. Frankly, Foxstrike couldn't remember the last time he hadn't stressed himself over something. Apprenticehood? No- he had spent most of that memorizing the TreeClan territory and worrying about what exactly all these feelings would mean for him in the long-run. Needless to say, he still hadn't completely figured it out.
Even now, he found himself pondering what could happen if the dogs or two-legs got too close to camp. Would somebody get hurt? He couldn't help but try to imagine what they might look like...or rather, feel like. He didn't have much to go on, just rumors and old stories he'd heard from his many days listening to the ambience of the camp. He imagined something large, breath that reeked of blood and rotting flesh. Cold eyes- ones that he'd be able to feel piercing his fur whenever the beast looked at him. Large claws, but clumsy legs. No strategy behind movement, just the instinct to kill.
Not a pleasant image. Not in the slightest. He hoped his brain was exaggerating. Luckily his mind was disturbed from such ominous thoughts by footsteps approaching. Foxstrike glanced in the direction of the noise, blank eyes landing on the figure as though able to see. "Something you need? Or are you just passing by?"
[[ No need to feel intimidated by the post count, haha- I just tend to make long posts. ]]

Tinywhisker was bored. Also, she was starting to feel a little lonely. After being a member of TreeClan for awhile, the she-cat had watched the kits become apprentices, and the apprentices become warriors. It was a little disconcerting, even after watching one of her long-time friends become an elder. With the recent development along the IceClan border, the feeling had disappeared and reappeared in the form of downright fear. She was frightened for her clan. What if dogs will come and kill everyone during the night?
The was definitely a possibility. Shifting her paws anxiously, Tinywhisker felt herself scowl a little. There were weird things going on for sure, and since the avalanche on IceClan land... well, things had gone downhill from there. (If you pardon the pun, please...) Snorting through her nose, Tinywhisker gave a great yawn and flopped over from her position on the ground. A soft, questioning trill escaped the she-cat as she arched her body in an ultra-bendy kind of way, though she was only stretching her spine. As her head tilted backwards, the she-cat spied another ginger cat in the shadows.
Who was this tomcat, and- oooh. His blank gaze sent chills down her spine, and as she stared into their cloudy depths, Tinywhisker felt kind of guilty. A jolt of recognition shot through her, and the she-cat got to her feet. As she headed towards the tomcat, she felt an eerie chill shoot down her spine as the tomcat landed his blind eyes on her. As the tomcat spoke, Tinywhisker felt her face flame uncomfortably. " No, uh.. You looked kind of lonely. " the she-cat finished lamely, though there was a sort of questioning trill in her voice.

Foxstrike wondered if he had made the she-cat uncomfortable, and averted his eyes. He found that cats were put off by them- he wasn't sure how different they were, but it made his condition fairly obvious, even to strangers. There were a few who thought they were lovely as opposed to disturbing, but Foxstrike decided to play it safe.
"I suppose I am...rather lonely," he admitted after a moment. He wondered if he had come off as too blunt with his greetings. "I apologize- I might have come off as rude." He was still trying to figure out how to interact with others in a casual way. "I'm not very good with other cats," he added, as more of a warning for any further oddities within the potential conversation.
"I am Foxstrike," he finally introduced himself. "You are?"
