give me time and give me space Ghost lay silently in an alley. He had travelled downtown for no specific reason- he just went where his paws took him.
He gave a little purr as he licked his grey tail tip with a small smile. Yawning, the young tom rested his head on his paws, ready to fall asleep. |

"Get back here you thieving son of a mongrel!" Rune screamed, she was currently in the process of tearing through the Downtown streets after a weasel with a half-eaten chicken leg in its mouth. Rune had just spent what felt like a half-eternity trying to dig that leg out of a trash-can when a weasel came and stole her lunch.
She didn't even think she might be waking up some locals, how could she? You're not you when your hangry. The weasel squeezed under a crack in a building and Rune crash-landed just inches away from a dark gray-black tomcat.

give me time and give me space Ghost jumped at the sound of shouting. He was not expecting that! The young tom looked around for the cause of the sound when he saw a she-cat crash land just inches away fro him.
"Oh my goodness! Are you alright?" He asked, worried as he made his way towards her. He nudged the unknown cat lightly, sniffing to try and scent whether or not there was another creature or any blood. |

Rune's vision went black for a split second as she groaned, and then she felt someone nudge her. She immediately sprang up, her head spinning.
"Yeah, yeah." She meowed, not sounding fine, as she spun around "Toooootally, fine. Did you see a weasel?" She fell back down onto her face. "That stupid stupid thief..." Rune lifted her head up, only for it to fall back down again. "Bullocks."

give me time and give me space "I think I may have seen one go in that crack in the building." He replied, trying to help the she-cat up when her head fell down to the floor for the second time, "Why? Wre yo hunting it or something?" He asked with curiosity. |

Rune's bright golden eyes darted to the small rift in the building. More bullocks, I can't fit in that.
"Bleck, no, weasels taste terrible." She puffed, grunting a thanks as Ghost helped her to her paws "It stole my lunch and I was going to take it back." Her belly gave a long, sad ggrroowwll "But whatever, I can get something else."

Jackie? As in MOM?!
Oh, he's talking about a Twoleg. Maybe that was even worse.
"Oh no, no nononono." She stuttered, uneasiness making her pelt spike, causing shed hair to start piling on the ground under her. "Not Twolegs, Twolegs hate me! I would rather eat my tail then anything they would put out."

Rune shuddered at even the thought of going into a Twoleg Den "Ack, no." She shivered "I-I just can't!"
"The only reason I'm out here is because I'm hungry. I don't want to be maimed by Twolegs" She spat out the word Twolegs like poison in her mouth. "on my way back to DeathClan."

Rune narrowed her eyes at him, her lip twitching. "Apparently you've never seen how evil Twolegs can be." Her gaze fell to the floor, and she absentmindedly touched her neck. "Never seen how much they can screw your life up."
Rune then noticed the spiky collar Ghost had around his neck, she leapt back. "How on earth are you not getting shocked?! You should be almost dead by now!!"

"Nor... Mal... Col... Lar?" Rune froze "I... Didn't... Mine, wasn't, normal?" She thought her whole life that kittypet collars shocked them when they got too far away from their 'home'. Memories of her writhing on the ground while the collar electrocuted her until she passed out were constantly swirling in her mind.
Rune's lip raised, crusted yellow fangs poking through. "They ARE evil." She hissed, not so much directly at Ghost, but at the streets were Twolegs crossed her line of sight. "They made my life a living hell, and I have no way to get back at them."
