Rune was fishing along the beach, body flattend to the sand. She had dropped a dead cicada into a non-moving spot of water and was waiting for a hungry fish to come and eat it. It would probably be better than her last attempt of splashing into the water not realizing the fish are faster than you.
But it was so mindnumbingly boring that Rune almost fell asleep, and she was about to doze off if she didn't hear the squishy sound of paws on sand. She reared her head and saw an adult she-cat with the most dazzling fiery ginger coat she had ever seen. Wait... Is that who Jude was looking for??
Rune leapt to her paws "Hello!~" She greeted without a second thought "Are you Natalia ?"

Natalia was dragging her paws through wet sand.
Fortunately, she had not chosen to sleep on the beach. It would've been troublesome having all those grains of sand clinging to her fiery striped pelt. Though, her latest perch hadn't been anymore uncomfortable. She'd clawed her way up a tree and slept there. Not exactly comfortable.
She thanked the stars she hadn't fallen out. Walking around with a limp, or worse, broken bones would've made moving around to avoid Jude even harder.
Her attention was caught by some random she-cat running up to her and somehow guessing her name?! Her ears folded back. "Uh... Yeah?" She shook her head, brushing aside her confusion and surprise. "Uh, who the hell are you?" She asked, none too gently.

Rune wasn't fazed at all by Natalia rudeness. "I am Rune, love." She replied, not returning any of Natalia's rudeness, for it was not how a lady behaved. "And I know someone who is looking for you, his name is Jude, a friend of mine." She wondered if she should say anymore, then blurted- "He says you're really important and wants to find you."
Her head tilted, looking a bit more closely at this she-cat. Her fur was a bit mangled, a bit dirty. Okay, a lot dirty. She looked like she slept over the edge of the cliff. Rune's golden eyes searched her green ones. I wonder what's going through her mind right now...

Natalia wasn't as prickly as she was before, but rudeness came to her more easily than breathing.
She stiffened at hearing Jude's words. Was he... Not finished with her? Were there more words he wanted to fling at her as punishment? Of course, she knew Jude's wounds were her fault. No one needed to tell her that, she wasn't stupid. But did he really... Her ears folded back.
"Uh... It's fine. He doesn't need me." She insisted.
