(Psst.... Oceanstar I'll give you three guesses who came back from the dead cuz she saw you were leader and wanted to write again) Stormykit really didn't want to be here. He could just feel it wasn't right, an instinct in him that told him he should run away as fast as his little legs would carry him. On the other paw, he couldn't leave his twin all on her own either. Well, he supposed he could, but then he would feel incredibly guilty. Then again the little tom already felt guilty for trespassing in the leaders den. So he was in quite the predicament.
Taking a deep breath he nosed forward carefully, his muzzle brushing Chicorykit 's tail. "I really think we should go back. What if Jackalstar is in here? He's gonna be mad if he finds two nosy kits in his personal space." he fretted, his blue eyes wide and round with worry. Already his heart began to quicken at the thought of coming face to face with the leader of his clan and he began to hyperventilate. Shaking his head he took some deep breaths and let out a small whimper, eyes the back of his sister.

The newly named Oceanstar had returned from the moonpools late last night and hadnt been bothered to tell anyone at all that he had gotten his name changed, or received his nine lives. It was certainly something that could wait for the morning, and he had been very, very tired. The tortoiseshell tom rolled over in his nest fitfully, his dreams filled with rushing water. Luckily the restless dream did not bother him long, the heavy pounding of the ocean in his ears instead fading into the sound of heavily breathing right beside him. The leader's eyes snapped open and he sat up in his nest.
"Who goes there?" He commanded wearily, too tired to check for himself and confident his clan wouldn't let anyone too dangerous into his den. The tom dropped his gaze and found two small, strange kits. His eyes narrowed in confusion. Was this just another weird dream. "Hello?"

Brightkit huffed at her twin's hesitation. Another clan could smell him from here! Her bright blue eyes took in the details of the leader's den. It was not what she had expected. She expected something grand and...well...not this. Surely, there would be something to brag about to the other kits. Brightkit had done her best to convince them to accompany the twins. Their loss, she bitterly thought.
"I don't think he'll get mad." As soon as the words were released from her mouth she regretted them. Brightkit turned a corner and saw the giant tom in his nest. Her blue eyes widened. Would Stormykit and she be this big when they grew up?
Brightkit jumped when she heard Oceanstar speak; she regained control of herself in a few seconds though her tail was still fluffed out.
"Hello! Stormykit and I were exploring!" she exclaimed.

(Heh. Indeed. AND BRIGHTKIT DID REPLY. I had seen the post, but it seems it got deleted? We were debating over how it happened...) Stormykit had followed his sister but as soon as he heard the leader speak he froze, terror welling up inside him and threatening to burst. He turned his big blue eyes towards the tom and staggered backwards, taking in the size of him. Stormykit was almost certain he was a freak of nature, small and insignificant beside the great leader of FireClan.
He wanted to say something. To not be afraid. To show courage like his sister. But far from it, he sat rooted to the spot, his teeth chattering as he tried desperately to calm his fraying nerves. Why in the name of CloudClan did i let her talk me into this? he wondered. His mind began to race.
What if he punished them? What if he delayed their apprenticeship? Even worse, what if he made them leave the clan for trespassing?

Oceanstar looked down at the two kits with sleepy curiosity, his brain still trying to fathom why exactly they were in his den. Was this still a dream from Starclan? No, no, he was sure he'd left the spirit cats far behind. They cave him the heebie-jeebies and he'd been glad to leave.
His head tipped as the little she-kit piped up, and Oceanstar smiled at her enthusiasm. "Are you now?" He murmured, gaze flicking to her apparently brother, Stormykit. The tom seemed much more nervous but Oceanstar's sleep-addled brain couldn't be bothered creating some soothing words to comfort him. Instead he simply rested the tip of his tail upon Stormykit's head gently. "And have you found anything interesting in your explorations?" He asked the two of them, holding in a purr and still trying to appear slightly stern.
- Hmmm, that's odd. Only staff members have the power to actually delete a post and I can't imagine any reason a staffer would have. I'll ask around though. Perhaps the site had a hiccup or something? Weird -

Brightkit was still in shock that Oceanstar hadn't been grumpy with her and her twin. StarClan deserved her thanks so she sent one up to them. She glanced over to Stormykit and was glad that he was still beside her. She thought he would've run out of the den by now.
"Yes! I wanted to see what it was like inside of here!" It was then that she finally realized how sleepy Oceanstar sounded. Her bright blue eyes watched in amazement as Oceanstar's tailtip rested on Stormykit's head. Eyes wide, she gazed at her twin and was instantly jealous.
"I certainly thought your den would be bigger," Brightkit glanced around the den once more, to familiarize herself. She didn't notice that Oceanstar was trying to be stern. "Is it comfortable?" In her mind the nursery was the best and most comfortable place in the entire camp.

Stormykit blinked. Once. Twice. The tail resting upon his head seemed to snap him back into reality. He gazed at Oceanstar in wonder for a moment. He's not yelling. So i guess thats a good thing. he thought. Taking a deep breath he felt himself begin to relax.
His sister's questions made him laugh, and he quickly closed his mouth, looking at Oceanstar apologetically. "Sorry we disturbed your sleep." he murmured.

It was difficult to be annoyed with Brightkit's remarkable honesty. There was an element to her that was remarkably fearless and he hoped she did not lose the trait as she grew.
He huffed in amusement at her remark. "I don't need a lot of room. It's just me in here after all." The space could be better used by others. "But I find it very comfortable, yes."
Oceanstar removed his tail, wrapping it around his paws. The other kit in comparison seemed much quieter, though he didn't view this as a bad trait either. "It's quite alright. I should have been up a long time ago," he replied with a soft smile. "I returned home late last night."

Blue eyes looked skeptical. She spoke her mind, "I'd get lonely if were just me." Her little chest puffed out. She opened her mouth to ask another question, but Oceanstar beat her to speak again. She was going to ask about him being lonely instead she sat down, with her tail out behind her.
She moved her head closer to her brother and loudly whispered, "I bet it was awesome leader stuff!" Brightkit wriggled with excitement. "What did you do?" Instinctively, Brightkit moved closer to Oceanstar. Her blue gleamed with anticipation.
