Foxpaw staggered through his breath, his eyes wide. The fox had left, the apprentice shouted loud curses at it as it ran off. Tears were running down his face for some reason, but he didn't care to know. He immediately tried to walk over to Shiningflame.
"Yeah, yeah. I'll go check it out later. You okay? You were literally flung, you could have died!" He couldn't help but overreact a bit. After all, he was his mother's son.
