Ivy set to following Fallenpaw down, mirroring her movements back on the IceClan side of the tree. Albeit, maybe her movements were much slower and less confident, but she managed. "I suppose you could," Ivy nodded as she hit the forest floor, getting the sense that Fallenpaw really wasn't looking for a reason to meet up again.
A shame. Ivy had actually had fun- it'd been nice. "Is this where we part ways, then?"

Fallenpaw shrugged at Ivypaw's question. "You still haven't made me smile," she said in a joking tone though she made sure she wasn't smiling as she spoke.

Ivy was surprised when Fallenpaw, of all cats, almost made a quip. "Hmm," she hummed, flicking her tail, looking over the TreeClan apprentice once more. Perhaps Ivy had been mistaken- maybe Fallenpaw wasn't quite as stoic as she liked to let on. It was almost a challenge. "I suppose I haven't. Are you implying that you want me to?"

Fallenpaw flicked her tail and shrugged. "If you want," Shen shrugged nonchalantly, but her eyes gave her away. She may have issues trusting others, but she truly wanted to. She wanted friends and family.

Ivy almost took her word for it- she almost believed that Fallenpaw was indifferent as to whether or not Ivy tried -but she caught the look in her eye, and for a moment she froze. In that moment she realized she and Fallenpaw were a little more alike than she cared to admit. Both of them were cats who wanted to care for others, and wanted others to care for them- it just was difficult.
"Got any friends back in TreeClan?" she asked. Maybe it seemed out of nowhere, but she was asking for a reason. "Family? Acquaintances that you like?"

"I tend to make myself scarce," Ivy said with a shrug. "And those who do notice me don't really like to get close. Can't say I blame them." It was her own fault when she pushed them away in so many ways. Maybe she could manage not to this one time, though.
"Well, if you needed any more," she began, averting her gaze as though saying this was something that wasn't somewhat difficult for her. "-and understand, I don't really like offering this, but frankly, I enjoy your company, so. If you need another friend, I'd be willing to be one."
