As soon as his mother returned to camp, Snakekit darted out of the nursery. He had never been told of the move and was terrified by his clan-mates' actions. The red brown kit ran to Brackensky and pressed him small body into hers. "Carry me, Brackensky." At this age, he was a little to big to be carried. He nervously looked around for his four other brothers.

Personally, Rainpaw thought that Redfern was being a bit too bossy. She certainly wasn't helping anyone by being snippy, if anything, it was just making cats more on edge. So many RockClan cats were terrified of the journey, including Rainpaw, and she wished that the deputy would build them up, rather than nitpick and criticize.
She held her tongue, her chest aching as she did so. Keeping her face even, Rainpaw nodded, staying beside her mother and watching over her young sister.
"Bluebellkit!" Rainpaw called out gently as she saw the she-kit stray over to a lost-looking kit. Then she felt her mouth dry up- Would Redfern berate her if she allowed the new kit to stay in her group? "Uh- Please, try to stay over here.." The tuxedo she-cat mewed, her voice uncertain.

Raccoonkit didn't wait for Jollyberry to answer. She could learn his name later. So much was going on. There would be time on this journey to learn his name. Amber eyes looked around the camp. She spotted a familiar face. The brown tabby barely heard Bluebellkit's call, but she had heard Rainpaw call to her sister. Raccoonkit followed Rainpaw's gaze and saw Beetlekit. Shaking her head she called over to the littler kit. While not knowing how Beetlekit felt, Raccoonkit felt like a bigger sister to Beetlekit. In her mind Beetlekit was her responsibility.
"Beetlekit!" Raccoonkit yowled in a motherly tone, "You can join my group." At this moment in time, Raccoonkit didn't accept that anyone could take better of Beetlekit than herself. A group of four would be fine. The brown tabby's eyes stayed on the littler black kit. Raccoonkit stood to her full height so Beetlekit wouldn't lose sight of her.

Silentdust watched the chaos quietly, her brown eyes darting left and right. She noticed some cats arguing and their harsh tones, so she avoided that main area. But she saw Brackensky come by and she walked over slowly, and her gaze fixed on one of the small kits, presumably the queen's. Sli was anxious, and her soft tone strained.
"Um, do you need help with anything, miss?"

Beetlekit felt a sense of relief as Raccoonkit called to her, eyes wide and thankful. She slipped past Bluebellkit, racing towards the familiar feline. She almost lost sight of her, though managed to stay on track. Beetlekit lowered herself to the ground when she arrived, moving underneath the larger kit and popping her head out in between Raccoonkits forepaws. She felt safer there, away from the larger paws of her clanmates.

Foxtwist rolled her eyes once more, and continued walking. This was ridiculous. This was a joke. She hoped that in a few moments, she'd wake up, and this would all be a dream. Her ginger fur bristled, and she felt the need to launch herself onto the younger tom, to shred him with her claws. She was so angry. She didn't even want to be a part of this Clan at this point. Their leader was a space cadet, their deputy was strong, but not strong enough to stand up for herself, and their warriors were a bunch of morons.
The pretty she-cat clamped her jaw shut, and tried to calm her fur. She wanted to scream. Foxtwist took a deep breath, and lifted her chin. Perhaps this moronic tom would die on their journey, and she wouldn't have to hear his stupid voice. Normally, Foxtwist was a friendly cat. She always had a fierce temper, but she wasn't one to turn violent. This moving situation had her on edge. Her world was turned upside down, and she did not like it.
// Jollyberry, you typed the wrong name in the first post and now I look like a dink lolol //

[[ IM LAAAAAAAAAAAAAATE ]]So today was the day. It felt strange- leaving the camp she had known her entire life. They'd been preparing for it, and Nightsong knew it had been coming, that was different from it actually happening.
She looked around for a moment, trying to catalogue who was where, and what was needed of each warrior. It seemed that the kits had minds of their own, though. That, or they were just perhaps a little too eager to help. Raccoonkit had been kind enough to invite Beetlekit into her group- however it occured to Nightsong that four charges might spread Jollyberry 's focus a little too thinly to be safe. She was quick to make her way towards the growing group.
"Would you care for help?" she asked him, her face friendly as she gestured vaguely to his mini-swarm of young warriors. "Seems like a bit much for one cat to handle." She was well aware of how difficult kits could be to wrangle- speaking of which, she had yet to see her own. She glanced around for a moment, quickly scanning for Flintpaw, but when she couldn't find him, she had to press down her worry. Flintpaw could take care of himself- couldn't he? For now, she had to worry about the younger ones.
Besides- maybe she could distract both Jollyberry and Foxtwist from whatever drama was going on between them by getting in the way. Nobody there had any time to be holding grudges.

-mobile, please correct me of spelling errors. I will check on the computer later.-
Raccoonkit felt a weight lifting off her back seeing Beetlekit make it successfully over to her. "I am glad we'll be traveling together." The littler kit went underneath her to her surprise. Raccoonkit looked down and licked Beetlekit's ears. She hoped this would comfort her friend. The brown tabby knew it would comfort her if she felt lost and confused.
At the sight of an approaching warrior, Raccoonkit twitched her ears. The warrior seemed friendly enough; offering to help was appreciated. That would make their group of four now five. Raccoonkit wondered if five was too big a group. Surely not. Two warriors, Icepaw and two kits. She thought that was a sufficient group and felt safer with two warriors. She opened her mouth to suggest that their group did not get any larger, but thought better of it. Raccoonkit was certain that a warrior didn't want suggestions from a kit even though Raccoonkit thought her logic sound.

Bluebellkit got how her mother felt in that moment. Everyone was apparently ignoring her, or worse, listening to her but having someone else stop their conversation. "Its alright mom." she told Foxtwist with a small smile. "It is not a competition, so just let him help. You will be a fox length away if he tried something." she comforted, not knowing what as going on but figuring letting go of it would be best under such order that the deputy had given.

Beetlekit visibly loosened at the comforting lick, deciding that there was nothing to worry about as long as she stuck with Raccoonkit. She stayed where she was, hoping that she would only have to leave once they actually started walking. Speaking of which, what was holding them back? She behind her, to the back of the line. Perhaps not all the cats had gathered yet?
Her thoughts were interrupted when a dark pelted warrior seemed to join their growing group. Beetlekit blinked, eyeing her for a moment before speaking up tentatively. "Why are we leaving?" She directed the question at anyone who would listen, Raccoonkit included. She wasn't sure if anyone was able to hear her, considering how softly she had spoken.

Dapplecloud (I'm even later, sorry!) The large throng of cats made me nervous, being in the midst of all the relative chaos. So I patrolled around the edge of the group, making sure no one strayed, especially the kits. They would have the most difficulty keeping up. I paused when the small kit next to me, Beetlekit, asked a question to the entire group. Crouching down, I answered it in the most comforting voice possible. After all, the truth wasn't exactly pleasant to admit. "It's not safe here right now. But don't worry, the entire Clan is going, as you can see." I glanced back over the camp and the peaks, sighing inwardly. I had been born and raised here, trained as an apprentice, become a warrior, and trained some of my own apprentices. It wasn't ever really safe, but it was a home. Still, CloudClan knowing, there was a necessity to get away as fast as possible.

Brackensky blinked, as Snakekit suddenly buried his face in one of her legs. Cautiously, she lifted her other forepaw. Then he made a demand. She sighed softly. He was a bit big to be carried... So, she figured he really needed the comfort of touch right now. "Alright." She replied, gently lowering herself, so her son could climb onto her back and she could carry him around. He was too big to be carried around by the scruff.

(ok for the sake of this post i'm going to RP like everyone in rockclan is present even if some people didn't post yet, so if you still haven't posted yet just pretend you were here while cloverstar was talking)
At first it'd been chaotic trying to keep track of everyone, but now it seemed to be getting easier as more and more cats were starting to organize themselves in groups. Cloverstar kept mentally counting everyone she saw, but that nagging feeling of forgetting someone still nipped at her mind.
"There is no limit to how many clanmates can be in one group," she called out. "What's important is that you stay within it."
She glanced up with a start when Brackensky approached, blinking before letting out a long sigh. "Yes, I'm afraid we are," she replied dully. "In a few minutes."
The young she-cat paced around for what must have been the millionth time, rechecking once more. The warriors, apprentices, and kits all seemed to be present, along with Anemonemist, and there were thankfully no elders to have to account for. Who could she possibly be missing? She went so far as to poke her head into all the dens in searching, but they were all empty.
Maybe she was just being paranoid, Cloverstar thought. The move was rough on them all. She'd go with that, rather than waste more precious time searching for nothing. With her mind made up, she headed back towards the camp entrance.
"We will be leaving now," she called, raising her voice so everyone could hear. "Once again, everyone, stay together and follow me."
The moment she'd finished speaking, her ears pricked up at the sound of rocks crumbling. She looked up, her stomach sinking in dread. An overhang had already broken off, sliding down the slope into camp and accompanied by several more jagged rocks.
With one last forlorn look at the camp she had called home for so long, Cloverstar turned around and set off through the entrance.

Coyotekit had hung back while all the other cats gathered into... What vaguely seemed to resemble a line. It wasn't really single-file, since cats were doubling up, standing next to each other and all. Then he spotted Brackensky. He sighed and walked over, standing right behind her. He planned to follow her, staying close behind. He disliked the reality that he was a kit, who might need help from older cats. Then a large sound alerted him, and he looked over his shoulder. Apparently they'd decided to leave in the nick of time. As Brackensky began to move, he followed quickly.

Brackensky swallowed quietly when she'd accidentally startled Cloverstar a bit, who then sighed. "Alright, then." She glanced back down at Snakekit, before looking back at Cloverstar. Since she was basically in the entrance, she decided maybe... She shouldn't move.
Cloverstar seemed to be busy looking around the camp for cats, so she returned her attention to her kits. Coyotekit seemed to have joined her, but Saltkit, Dawnkit, and Weaselkit seemed to all be somewhere else. She hoped they'd stay safe.
Then Cloverstar announced they'd be officially leaving. Brackensky sighed quietly, as she heard the first noises of the rocks falling. Then Cloverstar walked past her, leading the way out of camp. Brackensky followed suit.
It was finally time to leave.
