Icepaw's pale blue eyes had clouded over, mind blurred from fear. The earth around him spun. He could feel his heart beating fast and faster and he took deep, gasping breathes. He managed to get his breathing at a normal, albiet ragged, pace. Then a smell hit his attentive nose--a harsh, salty smell. Blood. Who was bleeding? He could almost taste in the air. Was it him? He felt his heartbeat pick up again and--Icepaw turned on his tail and threw up into the branches of the bush, feeling a little calmer once his stomach had emptied. He stared down at the mess for digest for a second before shimmying backward until he had freed himself from the bush. He could still hear the sound of rocks clattering against rocks, but it was far enough away that he knew he wasn't in any danger.
Trying to get his bearings, Icepaw looked around. Where's Raccoonkit? In his moment of panic the tabby-pointed tom had forgotten about his promise to watch out for his young friend. Icepaw's chest tightened. What if something had happened to her! The blood... he recalled the sharp smell, his tail stiffening in worry when his mind plagued him with images of his friend being squashed by boulders.
"R-R-Raccoonkit!" he called out. He had gotten himself separated from Jollyberry and the others, and it was hard to spot any one cat amongst the crowd of RockClanners.

Dapplecloud (Late again) After the Clan had started moving, I followed them, still on the outskirts of the group. Despite this, I stopped and turned around, frozen at the spectacle of the falling rocks. It was like it was in slow motion, then I could smell blood, hear cries of my Clanmates. "Look over there!" I heard Beetlekit call, and I turned my head, though I couldn't see anything. Stepping close, I followed Beetlekit's gaze, trying to get a glimpse of what was happening. "What's happened?" I asked her.

Beetlekit didn't understand what she was seeing. Cloverstar had stood up and kept walking, fine and dandy like nothing happened. It only dawned on her now that her leader had more then one life. She turned to Dappledcloud, shaking her head. "N-never mind." She turned in a wide circle. "Have you seen..." She almost forgot his name. "Icepaw? He ran off..." He must have ran far enough that she couldn't see him, or she just missed him in the crowd.

Flintpaw felt hope fill his heart. She was alive! He wasn't responsible for another death. The apprentice finally felt relief. He barely even acknowledged her hostility. The only thing he responded negatively was to the comment about his mother. She's probably looking for me..[/b] His ears pressed back. "Yes, Cloverstar."
He felt a purr rise in his throat. He managed to walk to his leader, but his leg was dragging behind him. Flintpaw nuzzled Cloverstar's flank. "Thank you for saving me." He stared at her for a few moments before slowly making it through the camp's entrance.

Raccoonkit seemed not to notice Dapplecloud. Brown ears twitched, shaking her ear tufts. Amber eyes were wide. She had almost just lost Beetlekit and now she lost Icepaw. Raccoonkit hoped that this wasn't a sign at just how difficult this journey would be. Once again the brown tabby rose to her full height, "ICEPAW!" she yowled just as she had done for Beetlekit. "ICEPAW!" Raccoonkit thanked CloudClan that she was the only long furred brown tabby in the Clan. She immediately raised her tail and waved it back and forth. Her only regret was that she didn't think of it for Beetlekit. "ICEPAW!" she called out to him again, hoping he could pinpoint her voice. She took a step away from Beetlekit and Nightsong; this made her a bit easier to see. - Icepaw, Jollyberry, Nightsong, @beetlejuice-

(ALRIGHT. Raccoonkit, @beetlejuice, give other people a chance to respond. Stop constantly posting before others even get to reply. This is getting ridiculous and out of hand. STOP.)
Now that she no longer had to worry about Flintpaw, things could hopefully go back to business. Ignoring Flintpaw, Cloverstar retook her place at the head of the line and performed another mental head check. Surely everyone was present now.
"We will--" But of course, that didn't last long. Some kit was screaming her head off about an apprentice named Icepaw. Cloverstar repressed the urge to groan. Was no one in this Clan able to keep track of the apprentices?
Alright, so then they'd have to wait until Icepaw either returned or someone got him back. Cloverstar rolled her eyes and marched back to the camp. There was Icepaw, stuck in a bush or something like a moron.
"We don't have all day. Come with me," she said shortly before stalking off once more, expecting him to follow and fall back in line with the rest of RockClan. Once she'd returned, again, she took a deep breath.
"Now," she said in a state of forced calm, "we are leaving."
Without another word or look back, Cloverstar began to walk. She retraced the path in her head as she did, looking around. They were going down a slope and would soon be entering land that wasn't quite in TreeClan territory, but was too close to its borders for comfort. They'd have to climb up a hill once they got to the bottom of the slope.

Rainpaw was very, very overwhelmed. Too much was happening, and she could hardly take it. She thought that RockClan was okay, that they had safely evacuated, but at the last moment, she saw Cloverstar rush back into camp to save an apprentice that had been left behind. Rocks were falling everywhere, and she could hardly see what was happening.
Her chest felt as if it were going to burst, and the anxiety completely overwhelmed her. Like a lost kit, she shut her eyes, pressing herself against her Foxtwist and squeezing her eyes shut. This was all her fault. Flintpaw and Cloverstar were going to die, and it was her fault.
She was only pulled out from her state of panic when she heard the leader's voice ringing out from above the rest. She's okay! Rainpaw looked up, her eyes glinting with relief as she looked upon Cloverstar.
It was time to leave. Rainpaw was ready. Clearly, this place was no longer safe for them, and even if the journey was tough, it would be better than staying here. She couldn't freak out like that anymore, either, it would just take attention away from more important issues.
Putting on her best positive face, the tuxedo she-cat straightened her posture, following Cloverstar's pawsteps.

Tigerpaw Tigerpaw was stressed. Having multiple mentors missing in action, and then now this. Tigerpaw tried to find a spot in the group, not to far forward or too far back. He didn't really know where any of his friends were, and he was a little nervous that he'd get yelled at. He honestly didn't know who was where, or if anyone was dead. The tabby's face drooped, We'll... all make it, he thought, his ears twitching rapidly. Tigerpaw tried to change his thoughts, thinking of when he'd become a warrior. I'll be like.. Tigertalon.. or.. Tigerstorm.

Foxtwist watched all the action in silence. Secretly, she had hoped that Cloverstar was really dead, that their deputy could take over permanently. She had nothing to say. She was tired of this journey already. The ginger glanced back at her home, and continued walking. She let out a soft sigh, and then looked down at Bluebellkit. The only thing she cared about now, was getting her kits to safety.
She didn't care if she made it, she didn't care if the other cats made it. She only cared about her kittens. She would miss their home, and if she was alone, she might just stay behind.

Slightly shaken by the action, Bluebellkit made her way much closer to her mother and kept in step with the ginger warrior.

Icepaw's ears twitched as they picked up Raccoonkit's voice amongst the squaller, being singled out by Cloverstar before he could find the kitten on his own. He felt like he was gonna be sick again, looking at Cloverstar's wounds, but forced himself to push the feeling down and slink over to his group, guilty that he had gotten himself separated in the first place.
"A-A-Are any o-o-of y-you hurt?" the pale tabby mewed, looking over his group timidly as he approached, hoping that he hadn't worried them too much. He shifted nervously on his paws.

Sandstone followed closely behind the other warriors looking around for her mate and children, were they alright, were they ok? She felt horrible having left them alone without motherly guidance, she felt like such a lousy excuse for a mother. She signed softly keeping her head focused on the moving cats ahead as she kept and eye scanning for the sight of any kin she hadn't seen. Maybe they forgot about their mother?
