basics name Loki gender ♂ age 12,893 moons clan loner scent clean, sweet and even slightly flowery, with a tinge of spice, both rich and light orientation heterosexual homeland asgard accent british - voice claim
appearance coat and markings pure black, like a dead night sky with a small scar on the right shoulder, short haired eyes and nose piercing, glowing green eyes with black nose physique quite tall and slender, visible muscles, looks as if he is a young warrior
abilities Loki has a genius level intellect and possesses a great deal of knowledge. He is also extremely cunning and skilled, an expert battle strategist, highly skilled, and a charismatic manipulator. Loki's strength is actually extremely good, while he may not look that strong. He has amazing stamina, allowing him to run for long distances without tiring quickly. He is cunning, swift, and attacks in the most unexpected ways, tearing you apart from the inside out.
personality Loki is an ever-scheming individual; the God of Mischief, he had been known to meddle in people's lives and even lead them to their inevitable deaths as it made him feel powerful, and often reveled in having a superior ploy or ulterior design upon his enemies. Compared to his boisterous older brother, he always seemed to be calm, peaceful and quiet, but in truth, had the mind of a cold, calculating sociopath and was constantly formulating machinations that would achieve him power and respect that he truly believed he deserved. Other than that, Loki supposedly cared for Thor, consoling him after his coronation was ruined, but was it later stated Loki had been jealous of him his entire life, although no one knew the extent of such jealousy until it was too late. He had a deep hatred of Odin and Thor, due to supposedly being the least favored son, and constantly being rejected by Thor himself. Loki would do anything to humiliate, defeat or hurt Thor, even enslaving the world Thor cared about and supposedly killing himself.
Part of his bitterness stems from the fact that he is a Frost Giant and was intended as a political tool to bring peace between Asgardians and Frost Giants. As such, Loki felt alienated and ashamed since he is a member of a race Asgardians are taught to fear and hate, and the people he thought were his family lied to him about it all his life. Growing up, Loki believed he was an actual prince of Asgard and so genuinely thought he could be King. Loki competed with Thor for Odin's favor, yet once his real parentage was revealed, Loki felt betrayed as he felt a Frost Giant as king was never a feasible possibility. Furthermore, Loki also felt that he was viewed as nothing more than a trophy and tool instead of an actual son of Odin, despite all evidence to the contrary.
However, deep down Loki has some form of love for his family. Though his hatred for his brother and father is unending, he does not share these feelings for his mother, Frigga. Upon learning she was killed, Loki acted with rage and destroyed everything in his cell. When confronted by Thor in his imprisonment, he asked genuinely if she suffered as she died and was willing to work with his much-hated brother to kill Malekith. He displays tremendous and uncharacteristic selflessness, such as risking his own life to save Thor, while dying in the process. Thor even states that Loki did indeed die with honour, but even this was a ruse as he had usurped the throne of Asgard and captured Odin. Despite his hatred and contempt, Loki has expressed the desire to be Thor's equal and recognised by Odin as the worthy son. He did seem to care about the two to an extent, particularly Odin, calling the guards and looking on in concern when Odin collapsed on the ground, and when hanging onto Thor near the Bifrost, he states that he wanted to destroy Jotunheim for Odin. Perhaps, he does love his family deep down; he saved Odin from being murdered by Laufey as he later states that his death was not his goal, and did not actually kill Odin, but rather imprisoned him on Earth. But the love he once showed and his more human emotions appeared to be significantly dulled by the time he arrived on Earth, along with the decades of built-up resentment which overshadows any sliver of humanity Loki might retain. Despite this, however, Loki's time as king of Asgard appears to have reduced his rivalry with and hatred for Thor and resentment for Odin, as he showed sadness and remorse for Odin's death and even showed visible care for Thor in Sakaar, asking him not to return to Asgard out of possible concern of his adopted brother dying against Hela. He was evidently angry and distraught when Thor ignored his offers to abandon Asgard and join the Grandmaster, saying emotionally that he always had to do it alone. He was also affected when Thor suggested he remain in Sakaar due to his power hungry nature and seemed saddened when Thor said that their paths had diverged long ago. Ultimately, Loki helped Thor evacuate Asgardians and even risked his life by personally reviving Surtur as well as supporting Thor's Coronation.
He has suppressed his desires for most of his life due to constantly living within Thor's shadow. As such he is capable of presenting himself as timid and meek when in reality he is in possession of supreme megalomaniacal ambitions which he believes he is entitled to more than anyone else, especially Thor, whom he views as an incompetent fool who would make a terrible King in comparison to Loki. As The Other states his desires are virtually reminiscent to that of childish need to always be best; this also makes his hatred of Thor an entirely overgrown and impractical sibling rivalry and the entirety of his actions can be intervened as purely attention-seeking, going to horrifying lengths such as the subjugation or destruction of a species, all to impress his father. Indeed, Loki's megalomaniacal desires are foiled by his true objective which that is to stand superior over Thor and crush him completely, proving to Loki that he is his equal and his better, which is all he has ever wanted.
As a master of deceit and trickery, Loki utilized his duplicitous nature within combat. Loki was also not above underhanded tactics, such as when Thor offered a hand of peace, Loki deceptively stabbed him in his side. Loki would create feints and appear like running away or surrendering if a fight turned to his disadvantage. However, Loki had a flaw of being arrogant, narcissistic and was in possession of extensive delusions of self-entitlement.
Evidently, Loki had no respect for his real heritage and would often contradict himself within this area to whatever situation would require it better. After learning that Laufey was in actuality his biological father, he did not even mention this to him on Jotunheim and later murdered him when he attempted to kill Odin. He called the Frost Giants a "race of monsters" despite already knowing that he is a member of the race himself before unleashing the full power of the Bifrost upon their planet, effectively ending the war which Thor started, and having saved Odin's life he would be paraded as a hero as he apparently could not see the logic that ending an entire race would only make Odin disgust him further. Since learning that he was the son of Laufey, Loki states that Thor is not his brother at all, ignoring the years that they grew up together entirely and throws this in his face twice.
Though, Loki is charming. He's clever, enjoying himself, and unfazeable. He looks like he's always in on a joke that you don't know yet. He has a unique kind of swagger about him. We has a carefree attitude, and such confidence that everything will always turn out alright. You can get a good sense that everything he does, he does because he wants to. He is quite relatable, which makes him a bit more likable.

history "I was a prince. I was adopted into a family of four cats. My adoptive father. Lightningstrike, was the king of my country. My mother, Featherbreeze, was the most beautiful cat in Asgard, and the wisest. We resembled each other, even if we weren't related by blood. My brother, Grayfang, was a strong and proud warrior, but I always found him extremely arrogant. My sister, Willowsong, was as gentle as a flower. She had the most beautiful singing voice. I always thought I didn't exactly fit in with my brother and sister, but I never suspected that I was adopted. They stole me from where the father of my blood left me to die, and sought to use me as a bargaining chip to bring two realms together. I was never meant to be loved, I was just there.
Ever since we were kits, my brother, sister and I were brought up believing our realm was superior to all other realms. We'd lived in a 'golden age' for year upon years. There were no improvements, no discoveries, and we all kept to ourselves, advancing no further. Lightningstrike believed no realm could advanced past us, and that all our enemies were vanquished. I, however, was curious. As a young apprentice, I stumbled upon what I call a 'space rift.' It sent me to another realm, and I found that our enemies were advancing, as well as the inferior realms. My curiosity drove me further, and as Willowpaw and Graypaw enjoyed useless feasts and celebrations, I found I couldn't enjoy them anymore. I discovered all eight rifts in my realm, and I went through them quite often, studying what I could and figuring out questions I had formed. Midgard was my main target, most the time. I acted as a normal cat, living their lives ever now and then, seeing how they were advancing, and proving my adoptive father wrong. I saw that Midgard was strong, and they could prove as good allies when, not if, the war came to our doorstep.
I tried warning my realm. I found that even the great gatekeeper of our realm couldn't see everything. I tried to defy my father's orders, thoughts, and go against his words. But he is stubborn, and he didn't like being wrong. He believed that he was truly correct, and all our enemies were gone, and so as a young warrior, I was thrown in the dungeons. No one believed me, no one saw the dangers, not until they came. Our home was ripped apart by fire. Many died that night, one including my sister, Willowsong. We all believed she was dead, crushed by debris or something worse, and all mourned for her. After that moment, Grayfang couldn't control his anger, and he would flare up at anything that caused him irritation. Our home was rebuilt fairly quickly, too quickly, and I was thrown back in the pits. When Grayfang came to me in the dungeons, he would talk of useless things, and how he couldn't believe our enemies had slipped past us. I stayed silent nearly every time he visited me, which wasn't often.
After the fire, Lightningstrike got gravely ill from inhaling too much smoke in the attempt to escape the flames. He died within the next two days, and many mourned for him. He was a brilliant warrior, though both Willowsong and I knew he wasn't a very supportive father. I was released from the dungeons by my mother, who became the temporary leader of the realm. She never thought I deserved to be down there. She didn't completely understand me, but she did give me the freedom by father would never have given.
Grayfang felt that, in this dire time, he had to do something about the state of our home. He went after our enemies, taking me with him. His mind had finally changed, and he knew I was the only one who knew what was going on. In the end, we destroyed our enemies, but I was wounded terribly in the process. And by 'wounded terribly,' I mean that I actually thought I was going to die. I felt like I was dying, I had been stabbed through the heart. My fur lost it's shine and began to fall out, and my skin underneath was strangely molted. I was left there, on that rock of a realm by my brother who thought I had died.
But by a miracle, I didn't. I'd been thinking about it often, and I believe that the blood from my enemy allowed me to live, healing me just enough for me to get back home and heal myself. Most think I tricked my brother into thinking I had died, but I am misunderstood, so I don't doubt they continue to think that to this day. I wouldn't trick my brother like that. I'm not cruel, and that would be the worst thing one can do.
We lived for a prosperous year without much happening, then Featherbreeze got sick from a deadly disease that was spreading around the realm. She died that night, and Grayfang was pronounced to be the next leader of the clan. Though he didn't want to be leader at that time. He had changed. Lightningstrike had one son that wanted the throne too badly, and another that wouldn't take it. The first son who wanted the throne too badly was the old Grayfang, and the one that won't take it is the new Grayfang.
However, Grayfang didn't completely trust me after I returned home alive. He began to believe the tales that I was a mischievous liar and only wanted the throne for myself, and so he found a way to trick me. He asked me to go on a hunting mission out of our realm with him. I should've seen him coming from a mile away, but either way, it was courageous of him, as Gray sacrificed himself to get me away from the realm. Once we were out, we couldn't get back in. He got mad at me, and I began yelling at him as soon as I had seen what he'd done, and we went our separate ways.
Later on, once I had found a place to stay until I could figure out a way to return home, I changed my name to something my parents used to call me as a kit. It was a little nickname that seemed to fit me. Soon after, I found that my sister didn't actually die to the flames. I wasn't sure why she didn't return to our realm, our home, but I wanted to make a closer relationship with her. She made me feel like I belonged here, even if it wasn't home.
A few years later, Cali and I discovered that Grayfang had been in our area. We went out hunting one day, half in search for him, when we ran into him. Gray wasn't very happy to see Cali alive, for whatever reason he had. Sometimes, I believe that his anger is just lazerbeamed at an individual that's suppose to be dead, but isn't.
They weren't very close after that interaction, and I'm guessing they'll never be close again. Cali never wants to return to our homeland, and she urged Thor and I to not return either, but we had other plans. We went searching for it, but couldn't find it. Thor got lost in the process, and I couldn't find him again. I presumed he is now dead, but deep inside, I hope that one day he will return to Cali and I, safe and unscathed.
Thor returned for a short while, meeting his siblings again. In that time, I learned of what had become of my homeland, and found that it had been restored and was returning to its former glory, slowly. However, through this good news, I could not celebrate. That land was no longer my home, and neither was this land. I did not own a home, I'd become a wanderer.
Shortly after, I found that Thor had vanished once more, leaving without a hint of a goodbye, but it is not unknown to me where he has gone. He has gone back to our people to rule them as the king they deserve."

Could I RP Willowsong under the presense that she didn't really die and made it out of the flames, but got lost and became a loner rather than finding her way back?
Also, could Loki and Luc meet?

Thats a good plot idea for Willow. Maybe she could help Loki become less... the way he is now. Sure! You could definately do that. What will you call her?
Also, Luc and Loki could meet. Who wants to make the thread?

Uh... I will figure out her name when I can... I'll post here when I have her account made though.
Could you make it actually? If not I can, but it may take a minute.

Maybe you could keep her name close to what it was? Such as you could call her Willow, or a name that means graceful, such as Anais. Just ideas.
Yeah, I can make the thread.

Castella, Cali, Katherine, and Rosemary are my top picks. Rosemary is a bit too.. plain, I feel like. Katherine is also a bit plain. I'd say Cali is my favourite, then Castella.
