Raccoonkit winced as soon as she scented blood. It was tangy, unpleasant. A smell she never wanted to get used to. "I am," Raccoonkit answered, "But what about you?" Raccoonkit was sure to have bruises and a few aches to last a week. The medicine cat would be seen by her later.
Raccoonkit sniffed Beetlekit. There was a small drip of blood from the black kit's scratches. Raccoonkit started to lick them clean so they wouldn't get infected. "We should see the medicine cat in the morning," worry shadowed the kit's voice.

"I'm fine, really." Beetlekit insisted, wincing as Raccoonkit lapped at the wound. Although, it did ease the discomfort. "It's just a scratch." Looking Raccoonkit over once more she frowned. "Besides, there's nothing the medicine cat could do for you" She probably had bruising, but there was nothing to help that, was there?

Raccoonkit didn't believe Beetlekit though she didn't press the subject. Amber eyes met, Raccoonkit a little put off by Beetlekit's words. She opened to her mouth to defend her logic, but again held her tongue. Did Beetlekit really think she was beyond the medicine cat's help? Would Raccoonkit die a kit? Raccoonkit shook it off despite the pain she felt.
"I won't know until I go," Raccoonkit stated. She hated to admit that she barely knew anything about RockClan's medicine cat. "I think it is best I find out."
Raccoonkit looked back to the sky. The sun was just a sliver now. "Shall we?" She indicated the nursery with her tail.

Beetlekit shrugged. It was her choice after all, but she wouldn't bother the medicine cat over something so small. "Thank you, for catching me." She smiled, her tail swaying softly. If Raccoonkit hadn't, she was sure she really would need the medicine cat right now.
Beetlekit nodded, taking the lead. She curled up in her own nest, resting her head softly on her dainty paws.
(You can post one last time, then end of thread?)

[Agreed.]
Raccoonkit nodded. She would have caught her, but only her size stopped her. "You are welcome." Raccoonkit trusted Beetlekit. She was sure that one day the black kit would save her life. Raccoonkit was positive that they would continue their friendship into their warrior life. At least she hoped so.
The brown tabby followed the smaller black kit. She went to her own nest, curled up, and fell fast asleep.
