Morning Mist(P)

[Killer]

Killer stalked along the forest floors. Wet pine needles cushioned his path, and made him as quiet as a ghost. He glanced at the wet world around him. Pine tree's looked like dark chalked in skeletons as morning fog clung to them like spiderwebs. He took in the scent of the damp world and was slightly surprised to find he liked it. He looked at his path once more and scented a familiar she-wolf he looked around and barked. "Shade what are you doing out here?"

[Shade]

Hearing a familiar bark, Shade peeked from behind a fog cloaked pin tree. Her optic spotted his gold eyes in the distance as she stepped out from behind the tree. Lowering her head as she stepped into his line of sight. The sun barely gave any light in as she found his eyes land on hers. "I...-" Averting her eyes away in respect, she lowered let out a steady sigh. "I was.. Thinking.." She said softly.

[Killer]

He watched as she skunked out from behind a foggy barrier. He tilted his head, able to catch the glow of her dark eyes. But just barley through the thick smoke like fog. He stepped forward to find her pelt the same was it was their last meeting and her scent stronger. He blinked slowly. "Thinking? What ever about?"

[Shade]

"Nothing of importance.." She said in a bashful manner as he protruded from the dense mist. The air around them was chilled and the soft breeze quiet as she her eyes met his. "And if I may ask, what are you doing here?" She ask, her eyes filled with curiosity. 

[Killer]

He gave a slightly puzzled expression as she seemed to be embarrassed by her thoughts. Yet claimed them as unimportant. He flicked his ear. "Strangely enough, I too was thinking"

[Shade]

Taking a step forward, she tilted her head, "Well isn't that interesting.." she said looking up at him, a smile coming to her lips. The fog seemed to disappear and the sun started to rise in the horizon. "Since there is nothing else to do fogged woods but think, what can we do to lighten the mood?" she asked as she sat next to him.

[Killer]

He gave her a sly expression as she hinted she would like to continue with him. He flicked a shredded ear in response to hearing her question. He stepped closer to her and with a smirk answered. "We can start by talking about who or what ever is on your mind," he chuckled as he decided to mess with her embarrassed self.

[Shade]

Hearing his response, she looked up at him. His smirk caught her off guard. Feeling her heart skip a beat in her chest she looked back down. "Well, there is a lot of things that can be on one mind. It depends on what you want to hear." She replied glancing back at him with a shy smirk of her own. Knowing he was above her, she made sure to keep her head down, Major bit her ears once before and she didn't want that to happen again. And hearing of the things Killer can do, and what he has done, she didn't want to get on his bad side at all. But she couldn't help but feel he was different from people say he is. He was almost sweet to her, and she didn't know why. The thought of him, a wolf of his standing, actually smiling at her filled her mind with confusion. But she kept her composure and waited for his reply.

[Killer]

He didn't grow any closer to her though he felt some strange radiation coming from her he decided to think it as maybe a warning sigh.. Flicking his tattered ears he gave a smirk "How about we start with what you were thinking about just moments ago?" He raised his fictitious eyebrows as to play the role of innosense though he felt he was rather onto something.

[Shade]

Looking up at him, she didn't know what exactly to say. Why would he be interested in what was on her mind. Still taken aback with his sudden interest, she sat up straight. What would she tell him? Fib or be honest? She wanted to gain his trust, so she might as well get the nagging question over with. "Well," She said with her eyes meeting his, "Why would a male of your rank, give any interest in a female like me?" Her eyes filled with curiosity as she watched his expression closely.

[Killer]

He blinked slowly and took a small step away from Shade. He felt free to speak around he because of their ranks but he didn't want to impose the wrong idea. "Interest? What exactly do you mean by that?" He gave her a look of bordum unsure why she would bring it up like that he added. "Simply I enjoy talking every once in a while. If it makes you unconformable be my guest. I'm not forcing you to be here."

[Shade]

"No no, I was just wondering. No one really talks to me, so it's nice someone actually does." She said looking away. "It's a privilege to talk to you Killer, I truly enjoy it." She said  with a smile on her lips as  she watched his optic. "What is on your mind that you are willing to share?" Shade asked, not moving from her seated possession.

He flicked an ear. He wasn't in his zone speaking to this one.. he wasn't sure how to encounter and talk around her. She reminded him of lagoon.. in feeling at least though of course they were nothing alike. He stood stiff he knew if he said anything it would eventually only end with the other getting hurt. "Shade. If you wish to know anything concerning my mind. You just need ask." His long tail flicked with the faintest show of uncertainty.

[Shade]

Observing his uncertainty, she tilted her head. "What is on your mind Killer?" She asked looking up at him with concerned eyes. There was something behind those gold eyes that she couldn't quite read. The breeze shifted and brushed agents her fur as she waited for his response.  

[Killer]

He stiffened. When he started to get so easy to read usually meant he was getting to close.. he tensed slightly. He didn't want to ruin his 'friendship' with her. He shook his head, decided against sharing his emotions. Instead he pawed the earth. "Why did you join the pack?" He flicked a slit ear. "Why not be a loner, and not be treated like dirt?"
