Willowspirit Batpaw reached the Fireclan border and paused. It had been a few moons since he'd stepped foot in his old territory, and though he was excited he knew he'd miss Fireclan too. "Have you ever been to Iceclan before?" He asked his companion idly as he stepped over the border. His calico head turned back to Willowpaw curiously, wanting to know more about her. She wasn't someone he had met during his stay. "It's Willowpaw, right? Thank you for escorting me....Not that you had a choice."

Willowpaw was padding along with extreme caution, and she had to force herself to step over the IceClan border. "No, I've never crossed the border." The older apprentice looked around, half expecting for an IceClan patrol to jump out and attack her. It felt wrong, being here, and Willowpaw was scared out of her fur that she would do something wrong.
"It's no problem." She said with a shrug, trying to force down all of her anxieties. "I'm Willowpaw, and of course, you're Batpaw." Willowpaw waved her tail, standing beside him. "I don't exactly know this territory, so if you could, uh.. Tell me where I'm supposed to take you.."

"I suppose that makes sense." It wasn't exactly normal or good when a cat crossed another border. He imagined this experience was quite strange for Willowpaw and shot her a sympathetic smile. She was an envoy from Oceanstar seeing him safely home, he would ensure no harm came to her as a result. "Willowpaw, that's right," he recalled from the meeting. "I didn't get a chance to meet you during my stay, I'm sorry for that."
At her request he stepped slightly into the lead and began directing a path. "Iceclan camp is near the top of the mountain. It's a bit of a climb and the snow will be melting right now so try not to slip." He had heavy haunches and thick fur, born and bred for mountain life. Willowpaw was a Fireclan cat though, small and speedy. "If you feel yourself slipping let me know, I'd hate for you to get hurt trying to help me." With a cheery wave of his tail he set off towards the nearing mountain.

"It's alright." The mottled apprentice stated evenly. Lately, she hadn't been very keen on socializing with others, and it was no surprise to her that she hadn't happened to meet the IceClan cat. It would be difficult to explain why, though, and Willowpaw wasn't going to tell this stranger anything about her personal life when she would likely never see him again. Her job was to escort him safely back to his camp, and prove that she wasn't completely worthless.
Willowpaw was certainly not suited for this environment, and put all her energy into not allowing herself to show how much she struggled with the unfamiliar territory.
Even for a FireClan cat, Willowpaw was dangerously skinny. "Okay. We'll be there in no time." Not believing her confident words, the lithe she-cat pushed forwards anyways, staying at Batpaw's side the entire time. She was older, and therefore more grown, able to use her developed muscles to haul herself up the slippery mountain with relative difficulty.
