- Willowspirit- - Adaline- (Willow, I guess you can just post whenever you think necessary? Just butt in when you're ready I guess, but obviously after me and Brightwing start talking a bit.) Swanfrost rolled lazily in the budding yellow flowers, stretching her paws into the air. She didn't have much free time now that she was training two apprentices, though she did enjoy coming here. It took away all the bad swarm of thoughts that seemed to be clouding her mind lately. She found it suffocating. Swanfrost peeked her ears at the sound of pawsteps, craning her neck back to see. It seemed they hadn't come over the large hill she was resting on yet, so she simply waited. Although, she knew by the scent that it was Brightwing.

((I'm tired so this post might be kinda bad
Brightwing was wandering the territory again, when she came across her friend Swanfrost. She tilted her head. "Hey... Swanfrost? You doing okay, there?" She inquired.

Swanfrost didn't bother standing, letting her tongue hang out limply. "Perfectly fine." It sounded stupid with her tongue halfway out of her mouth. She licked her lips, head tilting. "You?"
(I'm also slightly dead)

Brightwing shrugged. "Not worse than I usually am." She replied. She walked over to Swanfrost's side and and lay down, making herself comfortable next to her friend. She cast a side glance at the devon rex. "You look ridiculous with your tongue hanging out like that." She commented suddenly. "Looks like you're waiting for prey to jump into your mouth."

Swanfrost watched Brightwing lay down beside her, flicking her tail contently. She scowled at the insult, lifting her chin slightly. "I look beautiful, thank you very much." She pushed against her shoulder with a paw lightly, killing her tongue out again to make her point.

Brightwing rolled her eyes. "Maybe for a lizard." She teased, giving Swanfrost a mischievous grin in return, showing a rare side of herself that not many got to see.

((enter willow to ruin yalls good time >:3))
Willowspirit spent all of her free-time, which she had a lot less of, hunting. Now that it was new-leaf, she was having a much easier time finding prey, and had just buried a mouse and sparrow she found on the way to Dandelion Hill.
She was actually in somewhat of a pleasant mood, or at least not an awful one, but two familiar scents stopped her in her tracks. Willowspirit stalked up the hill, and looking down on the other side of it, spotted her only friend and her worst enemy right in front of her, laughing it up like they were best friends.
"Am I interrupting something?" Willowspirit narrowed her eyes, her voice taking an icy tone that she hadn't used in quite some time.

Swanfrost grinned at the teasing, opening her mouth to reply before she heard someone speak. Not just someone, Willowspirit. She scrambled to her paws, ears flat against her head. "Hey! What are you doing out here?" She greeted casually, her tone taking on a nervous edge. This couldn't be happening. Her heart was beating a million times per hour, and her tail was twitching madly. She looked between both Brightwing and Willowspirit, the only friends she felt were true, with a look of fear on her face.

Brightwing immediately clammed up as she heard a familiar voice, her face becoming unreadable with no visible emotions. Did she trust Swanfrost? Yes. Did she love Swanfrost? Platonically, but yes. Did she love Willowspirit? Familial, but yes. Did she trust Willowspirit? No. The she-cat would take anything she could grasp at to hurt Brightwing and use it in a heartbeat. She was tired of being hurt by people who were supposed to be her family... Her friends....
She immediately rose to her paws and flattened her ears. "No. You're not. I was just leaving."
She didn't turn her head to see Swanfrost rise, but she heard her. She didn't even look at her friend, her gaze boring straight into her sister. She missed the look of fear on Swanfrost's face.

Fear was swarming through Willowspirit's head, though the only expression she showed was disgust. Now it made sense why Swanfrost, a perfectly likable cat, had wanted to be friends with Willowspirit. It was all a trick. Brightwing had probably asked Swanfrost to pretend to like her so that they could laugh about all the mouse-brained, pathetic things that Willowspirit said.
There was no other reason that Swanfrost would want to be around her. Willowspirit's throat tightened, and she sneered to stop herself from crying. At least now things made sense, and she didn't have to worry about doing something to make Swanfrost hate her, because Swanfrost had hated her all along.
"Yeah, you do that." The silver she-cat spat, her eyes burning.

Swanfrost didn't bother trying to hide her emotions. Maybe it would help her not loose them. Swanfrost couldn't loose them. Sure, Thunderblaze was her friend.... but not like her and Willowspirit and Brightwing. "Wait, don't go." She insisted, about to move towards Brightwing, though quickly decided against it. Trying to pick sides wouldn't work. "Willow... I can explain." She tried, but she doubted it would work. "I knew you would react like this, that's why I didn't tell you!" She flashed a look towards Brightwing. "That's why I didn't mention it to you either." Swanfrost had slipped up earlier though, so she wouldn't be surprised if Brightwing had already assumed.

Brightwing saw the look of disgust on Willowspirit's face. She followed her sister's line of sight and... She wasn't just looking at Brightwing. Her ears folded back and her expression morphed into irritation.
"Don't be stupid, Willowspirit. Whatever you think Swanfrost might've been up to against you, is false. If you think I put her up to anything, you're wrong." She insisted. She decided to go for an angle that would fit her sister's view of her to convince the silvery tabby. "Why would I use Swanfrost to hurt you, when I could do it myself? It wouldn't be hard. You're too sensitive. Unstable."
Then she looked to Swanfrost who was desperately trying to salvage the situation. She sighed. "Swanfrost. Stop. It's a lost cause. I already knew you and Willowspirit had a friendship. Since the last time we talked. You seemed defensive of Willowspirit, so it wasn't exactly hard to connect the dots. But, fine. Willowspirit wants me to leave. I'll let you two be." She started to walk away, trying to shove her feelings of hurt and self-loathing under the surface.

"You can't hurt me anymore, Brightwing, you lost that right." Willowspirit snapped, all but ignoring Swanfrost's words. It felt like her world was collapsing around her, and once again she was completely alone.
Willowspirit had not talking to Brightwing since they were apprentices, and she hadn't missed Brightwing's hypocritical assumptions and pretentiousness one bit. Her gaze flicked from Swanfrost to Brightwing, terror completely overwhelming the weakened warrior. "Y-You two deserve each other, you're both liars. Neither of you two care about me, you're lying!"
Watching Brightwing begin to walk away, Willowspirit felt a surge of anger, instinct taking over. Her claws unsheathed, and using her nimble fighting skills, she launched herself at her sister. She didn't care if she had to fight Brightwing and Swanfrost at once, and she didn't care that her injuries from Almondfire still hadn't healed. Willowspirit was angry and hurt, and she needed to hurt someone.

((Okay, I'm going to post b/c I feel Bright needs to respond first
Brightwing huffed. "I wasn't aware that anyone had any rights to hurt anyone." She retorted, noticing how Willowspirit had seemed to fixate on her. Was that good? Bad? She wasn't entirely sure, to be honest.
She gritted her teeth. "I'm not lying, you thick-headed numbskull!" She hissed. "If you can't see it when someone cares for you, or even believe it... What's the whole point of you trying to make friends, huh?! You want friends but you push everyone away for the flimsiest of reasons!" She accused. She pushed aside the regret at hurting Willowspirit further. "You're just willing to throw any relationship you have, the minute things aren't perfect!"
Then suddenly pain exploded in her side, as Willowspirit's claws dug into her back. She hissed, refusing to scream in pain for anyone. She attempted to roll onto the ground, to get her sister off.
((I swear to god that willow's going to get exiled at this rate ._.
((EDIT: GOSH DARN IT SWAN you posted while i was writing my post. er... oh well.

Swanfrost's teeth sunk into her scruff and Brightwing was crushing her, so Willowspirit reluctantly let go of her sister, tearing herself away from Swanfrost and leaping back to glare at the both of them while panting shallowly.
"Shut up. Just because we're sisters doesn't mean you know me." Perhaps, if Swanfrost had told her about this before, Willowspirit would've been able to voice her fears privately, but with Brightwing present, there wasn't a chance in hell that she was going to let herself look weak in front of her sister.
Willowspirit lashed her tail, physical pain in her expression. The deep scratches on the front of her stomach, just below her chest, had opened up in the scrabble and were now bleeding through her fur. "Of course you lied, Swanfrost!" Willowspirit turned her attention to the other she-cat. "I'm a burden to FireClan, and you.. you're not! There's no way you'd actually want to be my friend. No one ever has, and no one ever will."
((yeah.. if she doesn't die first D:))
