Swanfrost snarled as Brightwing insulted Willowspirit, flashing her a look of warning. She wasn't sure she would even notice it in the heat of the moment. She took a few steps to the side, distancing herself from the both of them. She wasn't even entirely sure they were still fighting about the fact that she was both their friends. She shouldn't have ever gotten close to either of them. Whatever issues they have with each other, she just made it worse. Besides, she didn't need anyone. She was perfectly functional being alone. Kind of.
Swanfrost stared in confusion as Willowspirit yelled at her, a blank look growing on her face. She didn't say anything. There was nothing she could do to convince her otherwise anyways, so what was the point? Willowspirit obviously had never trusted her to begin with. "Now I get it." She hissed, the hurt turning into anger. "The only reason you stick around is because you had no other friends!" She snapped, tail lashing. "You never cared. You only pretended so you wouldn't be a lonely foxheart. Well guess what? Now you are!"
Swanfrost turned to Brightwing, scowling. "And you." She growled. "Who the hell do you think you are? You think your so much better than everyone, don't you? Why did you push away Mudclaw, huh? You're a hypocrite." She spat, paws trembling.
(...oops)

((Okay so it seems like we're going the route of everything going down in flames
Brightwing managed to land on her paws, her wounds on her back weren't that bad. Her ears flattened, returning the glare to Willowspirit. She didn't look at Swanfrost. She was afraid of the judgement she was sure she'd see on the devon rex's face.
"Why don't you shut up? Ever consider that you never knew me either?" She snapped, her anger leaking through. She was misjudged by everyone and it was getting really tiresome at this point. Perhaps at a later time, her self-loathing would return, but right now she couldn't see anything past the hurt and anger that defined her interactions with Willowspirit.
She swallowed at seeing Willowspirit's blood stain her white chest. She inhaled sharply. "I think it's pretty obvious you're a moron, since you obviously haven't gone to see the medicine cat!" She hissed openly. Then she laughed dryly. "Besides, since when have you ever been a burden? I thought I was the useless one, but you're just lashing out at me because of your own self-loathing! You're just like me and you absolutely hate it! Really, sure you weren't projecting everything you hate about yourself onto me?!"
Then she openly winced, her attention snapping back to Swanfrost. Her ears folded back and the briefest flash of hurt crossed her face. Swanfrost was distancing herself from the two siblings.
Brightwing could only watch as everything was going down in flames. Her breathing started to become shaky, but she managed to hide it fairly well. Then as Swanfrost tore into her, the mask fell.
She felt less like the warrior who grudgingly went onward with her life because it was her duty, and more like that kitten who'd hidden behind the warrior's den, trying to hide from her siblings.
The hurt on her face didn't fade this time.
She wondered if it was possible to drown in guilt. Her ears folded back and she seemed to be trying to make herself look smaller. "I-I... I just..." She shut her eyes and looked away. "I don't deserve you or Mudclaw as friends. I don't. I-I... He got hurt by Willowspirit and Almondfire. It's my fault he got hurt. I-I just wanted to save him from anything else. My family's poison, Swanfrost. We're toxic. We've been destroying each other from the ground up since day one." She laughed dryly, adopting a sad expression.
"I don't think I'm better. I really don't. I'm just... Nothing, trying to be something. I know, it's selfish and dumb. That's just me. Selfish and dumb."
((Okay uhmm I think Bright's personality is kind of flying all over the place because on ONE HAND... She trusts Swanfrost. She really does. She's fine with sharing these details. On the OTHER... Willowspirit brings out the worst in her.))

If this was going to keep happening, if Willowspirit was going to keep building relationship only for them to fall apart, then she saw no point in trying anymore. "I hate you. I've never pretended to care about you, and I don't want to know you." Willowspirit did not care what was going on inside of Brightwing's head. She wished her sister would just drop dead.
She looked over at Swanfrost, her gaze dark and empty. There was no point in explaining how much she'd cared about the she-cat, because Swanfrost didn't care. She was likely faking being mad, and when this was over, her and Brightwing would talk about how pathetic Willowspirit was.
"I'm not like you, Brightwing. You're a manipulator, and you deserve to rot." Willowspirit did not explain why she had no intentions of going to the medicine cat, she knew she would only be mocked for it. No one understood her, and they were never going to.
As Swanfrost turned on Brightwing as well, Willowspirit couldn't help but feel a glimmer of satisfaction. It seemed that Willowspirit wasn't the only one who saw through Brightwing's lies. However, Willowspirit was still angry and miserable, as Brightwing had at least partially succeeded; Swanfrost hated her.
"Yeah, whatever Brightwing." Willowspirit rolled her eyes. "You self-pitying rat. No one cares that you hate yourself, and you aren't going to get anyone's sympathy by whining. Grow up." She snarled, her words unnaturally cruel.

Swanfrost gave Brightwing a guilty expression. It was easier to yell at Willowspirit, simply because the feline yelled back. But she still didn't apologize. She meant every word. "Yeah, you kind of are." She mumbled as Brightwing called herself stupid and selfish. She was never one to deny the truth, even if it hurt the other cat. She didn't really care much right now. "Everyone is toxic." She responded rather flatly. She found that being around the two siblings made her feel like some kind of saint.
She glared at Willowspirit, most of her anger focused on the she cat. Brightwing was reasonable at least. A look of hurt rested on her face, mixed with anger and still some slight confusion. "I'm so stupid." She whispered to herself, eyes narrowed. "Don't talk to her like that." She hissed. She was going insane, trying to defend both of them at the same time, yet still trying to be mad at them. "I cared about you. I really did. Hell, I even trusted you for some reason!" She cried, her jaw clenching. She should leave. This wasn't exactly her fight anymore. "I'm done with both of you." She spat, turning around to leave, letting her expression fall when neither of them could see her.
(Her part is done unless someone tries insulting her again, or stops her or something)

Brightwing didn't say anything at first. "... I wasn't pretending." She whispered, not sure if she was being heard or not. She expected to not be heard. She never was heard, her words were always twisted. Even if she poured her heart and honesty into her words... No one ever believed she was capable of the kindness and love every other cat was.
She wanted to cry.
She wouldn't though, because she knew how it would end. She was going to... Just go to the medicine cat's den to get the scratches on her back treated. Then she was going to act as if this hadn't happened, aside from keeping her distance from Swanfrost who was cutting herself off from Brightwing. Hah... Serves her right. Brightwing was worse than Aloepaw and Almondfire. Apparently she had the gall to honestly get close to cats, only to tear them down. Her bully siblings never pretended to be nice. They were honest.
Apparently lying and manipulation was in her bones.
She hung her head, hiding her expression from her sister and her... She supposed now former-friend... She wanted to find somewhere to hide from the world. Where she could cry and no one would ever find her and know.
Her lip quivered, her eyes were glistening, but not a single tear fell. Hah... No one did care, did they..? It hurt more than she expected. Was she whining...? She must be, since she didn't ever shut up. Maybe life would be better if she just... Fought and hunted for the clan and died when she couldn't do that adequately anymore.
She didn't see Swanfrost's guilty expression. "I'm sorry." She murmured quietly. She wasn't sure who it was aimed at. Her breath was shaky as she turned around and left the scene without another word.
There was nothing else to be said but....
Brightwing had no idea what death was like.
But she was pretty sure this empty feeling in her gut that threatened to swallow her was pretty damn close.
((SOO.... I'm guessing Willow posts and then we're done.))
