He didn't know what to say, and Swanfrost didn't either, from what he picked up. His mind went back to the past, as it did often. His mother had said the same words, 'not everything in life is a game. Loki, you need to open your eyes.' If life was a game, Loki would be winning. His pawns would be in the perfect place at all times, and his mother wouldn't be dead.

Swanfrost scoffed as he turned away, her tail tip twitching. She hated it when cats got all offended around her. "Jeez, no need to be such a sourpuss." She rolled her bright blue eyes, flicking her paw forward in a judgy manner. "I hadn't realized you would be so easily triggered." She made it sound like she had meant to.

Swanfrost wasn't going to ask what he meant by that, assuming that he wouldn't tell her anyways. She has considered a few times that he had just been wasting her time, but she really had nothing else to do anyways. She didn't know what to say.

They'd been sitting around for a while, but now it looked as if their conservation had come to a close. Loki wasn't sure it went the way he wanted it to go, but that was fine with him. He'd mostly stopped caring, really.

Swanfrost rolled her eyes in a bratty manner feeling more irritated than usual. She turned sharply and strut away without another word, her hips swaying out more than they needed to. She had half a mind to lift her tail up, although she feared that if she did that he would claw her throat out.

SEARCHING IN THE DARKNESS WE ARE CREATURES OF THE NIGHT RUNNING FROM THE DAY Loki watched her leave, before standing up himself and walking slowly along the border. She had left it empty, unguarded. However, he had no intentions of crossing the border into clan territories. It wasn't top on his list. So he turned, a half smile on his face, and walked back to his own territory.
