((i've been ignoring willow and she needs more attention ;A;))
Willowspirit supposed she might as well explore FireClan's new territory, it wasn't like she had anything else to do. Hickorypaw didn't seem to be taking her training seriously, and Willowspirit had explored every paw-step of the old territory enough so that she was desperate for something new. Something to take her mind off of how miserable she was.
RockClan's territory was definitely.. new. Her gray pelt blended in with her stony surroundings better than it did in FireClan's prairies, but the touch ground hurt her sensitive paws. Willowspirit was relieved when she came across a damp cave, where the wet ground soothed her paw pads. The silence comforted her, and Willowspirit ambled along as if she were in a trance.

Swanfrost hadn't yet seen this part of the new territory. She had been part of the patrol to take over some of it, but not the cavern, and she was curious. Besides, she had never been more bored in her life. The only friends she managed to make was a dumb apprentice and an even dumber warrior. Or atleast, that's how she saw it.
Swanfrost was too deep in thought to even notice Willowspirits scent, though if she had, she would have turned around. Swanfrost had overreacted, like always, but so had Willowspirit. She was far behind her ex friend, so she didn't see her either. She hadn't even noticed her paws aching when she came up to the damp cave, her eyes lighting up with curiousity.

Willowspirit, feeling a rush of pain, stopped to sit down for a small while. She still hadn't gotten any of her wounds treated, and the clawmarks going from her lower chest to her mid-belly were almost certainly infected, or at least too deep to heal. Of course, being herself, Willowspirit refused to go to the medicine cat about it, and instead decided to enjoy the scenery.
A familiar scent hit the roof of her mouth, causing her lip to curl in disgust. She forced down the initial resentment, and instead didn't move, calling out behind her. "Were you following me?" Willowspirit's voice wasn't accusatory, just mildly curious.

Swanfrost jumped as a voice startled her out of her thoughts. She opened her mouth to respond, though quickly realized who she was speaking to. Swanfrost grimaced in annoyance. She wanted to respond with 'you're not worth following', although, she quickly reminded herself that it wasn't entirely Willowspirits fault.
"No." She hissed, her voice low. She didn't say anything else. She thought about turning back and leaving, though a stubborn part of her didn't want to. Why should she leave? Willowspirit could just as easily. She moved closer, not close enough to get into contact with though. Noticing the wounds her muzzle wrinkled, and she fought to keep the concern out of her voice. "If I were you I would get those checked." She pointed out.

Willowspirit had to keep herself from rolling her eyes at Swanfrost's reaction, her loneliness starting to shift into hatred for the others around her. She'd always known that Swanfrost was stuck-up, but it hadn't bothered her when they were friends. Now, Willowspirit spitefully picked apart the she-cat's every movement, seeing flaws everywhere.
"Well, you aren't me." She replied shortly, her eyes narrowed. Swanfrost probably mocked Willowspirit for her wounds behind her back, and Willowspirit didn't want any fake concern. Willowspirit stayed sitting where she was, waiting for Swanfrost to leave.

Swanfrost growled lowly. Willowspirit was stupider than she had thought. Willowspirit was always a hard worker, but how was she supposed to pull her weight in the clan when she was injured.
Swanfrost got closer, for more reasons than one, which being wanting to see her reaction and wanting to sniff the wounds. "They smell gross." She huffed, sitting down just to show she wasn't going to leave. 'I hope they're infected.'

"If they smell so bad, then you should leave so you don't have to keep smelling them." Willowspirit responded stubbornly, her tail curling over her paws. Although she didn't let it show, Swanfrost's comment made her feel a self conscious and she made a mental note to wash off in the river near the old RockClan border.
As Swanfrost got closer, Willowspirit's ears flattened and she stood up, backing further into the cave. That vile she-cat didn't belong anywhere near her.

"I'm not going anywhere, but you can gladly go and get your wounds checked, like a normal, responsible cat." Swanfrost spat, not affected by the way Willowspirit retreated further into the cave. "How do you expect to do anything for your clan when you die of infection?" Swanfrost sneered. Perhaps putting her down would get her to do something about her wounds. Deep down, Swanfrost still cared, even if she wouldn't admit it.
"You wouldn't want to be a burden, would you?" She moved closer, her claws scraping the rocks beneath her. "I bet you couldn't even defend yourself right now." She looked her up and down in disgust.

Unfortunately, Swanfrost's cruel words only made Willowspirit determined to prove her wrong. She loathed how nasty the white she-cat was being, how easily she was able to forget their friendship. The only way that was possible was that Swanfrost had to have hated her all along, and only pretended to be her friend because of Brightwing.
Despite how weak she was, Willowspirit's eyes glinted dangerously and she let out a low growl. She had devoted moons and moons of her life to training herself how to fight, and now that she had nothing to lose, Willowspirit was more dangerously unstable than ever. "Defend myself from what, a naked rat? I'm not afraid of freaks." If Swanfrost was going to be needlessly mean, than Willowspirit saw no reason not to sink to her level.

Swanfrosts heart sank at the cruel words. She visibly flinched, her ears flattening against her head at the low blow. It was hard to get to Swanfrost, though she had always been sensitive about her rather ugly appearances.
"You know what? Fine, don't go to the medicine cat. But when you're wounds get so infected you're on the brink of death, don't come crawling to me." She hissed, yet still didn't leave. That would only make her seem like a coward.

"I wouldn't go to you." Willowspirit mewed coldly, her eyes becoming somewhat clouded as she struggled to focus, sitting back down again. The journey to here from FireClan had been exhausting, and the emotional toll from Swanfrost made her even weaker. Still, she preferred to suffer than to ask for help, and her bitterness gave her strength.
"You're useless." The heterochromic cat hissed, her upper lip curled. It was easy to mask her pain if she focused on hurting her former friend. Swanfrost never cared about her, anyways.

Swanfrost scoffed, masking her hurt for anger. "Says the one who can't even stand." She snarled, tail lashing aggressively. She wouldn't let Willowspirit hurt her. She didn't deserve that satisfaction.
"You're pathetic." Swanfrost growled lowly. It was the most honest insult she could throw at her. She was entirely, utterly pathetic.
