Sky's fur bristled at his comment, her jaw tightening despite the slight teasing tone in his voice. She was no idiot, and she knew he had meant it. It was definitely a sore subject for her-she could never be as good as a regular cat. Sky had trained much to long and hard to still be held back by her disability, and it angered her to no end.
"You better hope you have nine lives Loki. Underestimating me isn't smart." Her tone was rather blank, never giving away any hints of emotion other than her body language. Although the message was clear-Sky would have no problems slitting his throat while he slept. For now, at least. She had a bad feeling it wouldn't be hard to get close to the tom, so she did her best to keep herself emotionally detached.

SEARCHING IN THE DARKNESS WE ARE CREATURES OF THE NIGHT RUNNING FROM THE DAY A smile crept across Loki's mouth, and a small chuckle escaped him. It was quite obvious Sky would love to kill him at any moment, and yet they were somehow still... friends, if one could even go that far. He sat back, amused by the bristle of her fur. Sometimes, he could be overly confident in himself, and he'd say things he didn't exactly mean. Now could classify as one of those times, if it must.
"Sky, you still have much to learn, but I'm not underestimating you..." He intentionally left out a single word, much. He knew she was a good fighter, and excellent fighter, especially for being blind. Most cats would become wallflowers and be afraid of everyone else, but not Sky. She had fire, she had the fight within her. But Loki was not one for kind words, nor compliments, so he left it as it was, swishing his tail lightly. "Not all things go the way you plan," were his last, ominous words as he stepped silently back into the shadows, slipping away without a trace, the rain muffling his scent.

Sky snorted at his words, finding herself amused rather than threatened. She had no words for him, instead laying down, simply to prove that he didn't intimidate her, and she was fairly confident in her abilities to ward off anything that might come her way proving a threat. Besides, Loki may be mysterious, but he was still predictable in his ways, and Sky had already grown accustomed to his patterns. He wouldn't kill her. Not unless she did something to bring on his anger, at least.
Despite his last, rather creepy words, Sky brushed them away with ease. Without needing to hear or smell the fact he had disappeared, Sky knew he had left, back into the shadows, where he belonged. She could sense that he was gone without having to pay much attention. She remained where she was, tail curled softly around herself for warmth, and she let herself drift off into dreamland.
-End of thread I assume-
