Bell ginned at the challenge, not quite at the stage where she would sing yet. On second thought, she wouldn't sing. She hadn't sung in a long while, and it wasn't worth bringing up memories of the... last time she sang. Not quite caring what showed on her face, she kept her eyes trained in Fox.

SEARCHING IN THE DARKNESS WE ARE CREATURES OF THE NIGHT RUNNING FROM THE DAY Loki blinked slowly at her. "I can see it in your eyes..." he said. "Your going to make me sit through something torturous."

(Feel free to have him cut her off at any point.) Arabella's considered for a moment longer before deciding that the most annoying thing she could do was endlessly talk about random subjects, which happened to be a speciqlty of hers. Not paying attention to a word she said, she started speaking, "So, Fox, do you see the fox in the sky? According to my mom, if you look hard enough, you can see anything in the clouds. Not that she's around anymore to confirm that she still feels that, but still. I mostly see sheep. Sheep are everywhere where I live. One time, when I met Kitten, he started a stampede of sheep and was knocked unconscious. I chose his nickname before that though. I mean, he carries himself like a kitten who is always on the verge of a temper tantrum. I believe his acctual name was..." she narrowed her eyes, "Boar? Door? Gore? Thor? Or maybe I think was Chore. I don't really care to remember. Speaking of chores, what I said the point of them? We have notions that pressing. And speaking of pressing things, have you ever thought of the clouds, yes, back to the clouds, as pressing against the sun? They protect it sort of. Like maybe there's a kingdom up there. What would that be like? Would everyone's be floating around, would there even be any buildings? Or, what if the sun is a castle and the clouds are the surrounding territory? That would be interesting. How would that work though? Would the clouds just be like a floor? Would the floor always be made of soft, fluffy puffballs? That would be annoying. Oh, or, what's if on the top of the clouds there I should a glazed surface that we can't see? Or, maybe they're like bowls. Yes, that's it! Clouds are bowls that hold water and when they spill the water, it rains. But, no. That can't be it. I lived with Twoleg long enough to know better. Clouds are made of water. So, maybe the cats there just swim everywhere," she said, eyes widening slightly at the idea, but then she randomly changed the subject of her ramblings, "What if the grass were blue, flowers were green, tree trunks were red, and the sky was brown? That would be an interesting world. What if someone saw an apple and thought it was a part of the tree trunk? That would be funny. Or moss was blue against the red trunk and could be seen a mile away. That would make life sooooo much easier. And if all colours changed as shuch, you would have blue eyes, and I'd have brown eyes. Oh, and what if fur colours changed too? You would be a white cat, and I would be a calico tabby. That would be very odd. I like how my appearance looks right now. I get my looks from my Grandpa. Speeding of my grandpa, if my father had stopped making his life about proving himself to me, my life would be so much easier. So would my aunts. We were both always the ones who stopped them from fighting. Then when my Grandpa died, my father tried to prove himself to us for some reason, which makes no since because we already believed in him. He died trying. There's one thing to remember. Just because one person expects something from you doesn't mean that everyone expects you to. It can only cause more issues. I mean, Howe much of your destiny can you really control? If you're destined Not to impress someone and you can't, what's the point in trying to I impress others who are already impressed because of that. On a different note though, why are-" Arabella had been talking pretty quickly up until then and had only taken a few breath, so she had to stop talking, breathing heavily for a moment before opening her mouth to continue talking. She acctually would keep talking, but it would probably be a whole new subject considering that she had ignored every word she had said.

SEARCHING IN THE DARKNESS WE ARE CREATURES OF THE NIGHT RUNNING FROM THE DAY When Arabella began talking, Loki listened until he noticed she was actually droning on about nothing, not until she mentioned a cat that sounded like his brother, then an idea about cats living in the sky. Without trying, she had made him want to tell her about his home, which was what he was trying not to do. The rest of her words jumbled together, as he was no longer listening, but thinking. When she finally stopped, he quickly looked up and held up a paw, as if to say, 'you can stop wasting your breath now.'
Then, when it seemed as if Arabella couldn't talk anymore without a few deep breaths, he cut in. "They wouldn't swim." It was so short, and she would probably be confused, but that was basically as he wished to say. "And it would be higher than the clouds, above the clouds." Loki took this chance to look up. The sun's brightness never seemed to bother him. He guessed it was because he lived in a palace made of shinning gold, and so he'd gotten used to it.

Arabella tilted her head, then spoke after another moment longner. "The clouds would at least protect it though." she sad with a shrug, "And I'm still not done talking until you tell me what's wrong."

SEARCHING IN THE DARKNESS WE ARE CREATURES OF THE NIGHT RUNNING FROM THE DAY Loki flattened his ears against his head and his fangs showed. What he said next sounded only a tad bit harsh, however, betraying his features. "I'm lost, i'm forgotten, and I want to forget about it, and talking about it isn't exactly helping." He hadn't exactly told her what was wrong, just a centimeter of the full sheet of paper. Hopefully, though, it would get her off his tail.

"Well, if you want to not talk about it," she said cooly, "Then it would get you to your goal much faster if you just told me."

SEARCHING IN THE DARKNESS WE ARE CREATURES OF THE NIGHT RUNNING FROM THE DAY "Hah, your funny," Loki said with extremely sarcasm and an extra head tilt, which made his grimace a little colder. "It would be nicer if I completely forgot about it."

"Sure, but I've already vowed to get it out of you, and I will keep to my vow." she said as though that was a solid fact, which it was. No one was more stubborn than her.

Arabella nodded. "I would," she said slowly before adding, "But you really didn't."
