"But why did you do it?" Asked Burr, blinking her non-seeing eyes.
Burr flicked her tail, "Well, I never thought there would be crazier names than Fadingnight... That is a long one..." Then, with a tiny smile, Burr mewed, "Let me guess. If I was a Warrior, my name would maybe be Burrtail... Wow, you were right. That does sound odd!"

She wasn't entirely down with explaining why she had left the clan, so she summed it up briefly in a few curt words. "Just bad memories I guess."
The loner then thought of what her warrior name would be, Fadingnight responding with a humorous grunt, "Yeah I guess that's about right, would suit you well." The space-gray warrior herself had been named so because of the way her tail faded into a black as it tipped. Totally creative right? It was the suffix that held the meaning.
"Any other questions?" She inquired, the loner was quite curious.

"Bad memories?" Burr grunted, "I can relate..." Bad memories was the reason that she left the Twoleg Place from good.
"I do have one question," Mewed Burr, "How is the life of being a Clan cat? Not that I am thinking of being one, I just want to know."

Fadingnight merely nodded when the loner inquired about her bad memories, there wasn't any part of her that wanted to explain what she meant so she immediately moved on to the next portion of the conversation.
"Well," She began, sort of being at a loss for words because she had never really had to explain what it was like to be a clan cat. She hadn't talked to many loners but the ones she had talked to had their own opinions and didn't really ask many questions. "It's all about survival, but we all work as a team. Holding each other up and supporting those who can't support themselves. We all take care of each other I guess. Not like loners who have to fend for themselves and only themselves." She figured that was a decent explanation.

"Not all Loners fend for themselves," grunted Burr, "My... Old family sorta worked together. But I wouldn't call us Rogues. The cats who attacked me were Rogues." Burr didn't normally discuss her past, but she didn't want this cat to think that her family was heartless and killers. "And I don't really like your day description of Loners..."

Fadingnight hadn't meant to offend, but didn't exactly know how to apologize so she continued with the conversation. "Well, I never really met many loners in my time, maybe one here or there but I never really sat down for a conversation like I am right now." Licking a paw she dragged it over her head to calm the fur being blown about by the wind. "What would you describe loners as?"
She figured it was best to get Burr's side of the story rather than continue offending her.

"This is the first time I have ever talked to a Clan cat... I bet you can tell..." Burr felt her pelt slightly prickle. Why did she have to embarrass herself like this?
"Anyway, think about this. If two Loners met and had kits would they all suddenly become Rogues? I don't think so. I would say, if they were quite violent, then they could be qualified as a Rogue." Even though Burr was sometimes violent, she wasn't one of the cats who snatched her sight away from her. "When you first saw me, What did you think of me?"

Fadingnight could practically feel the other cat's heat from her embarrassment, she wasn't entirely sure why. If the cat really wasn't from around these parts then she didn't expect her to know anything about the clans. Shrugging to herself she continued to listen into the conversation, ready to reply once Burr had finished speaking.
She had never thought of loners and rouges in the way Burr put it, but then again had never really thought hard about them. Fadingnight had never been a curious cat and didn't often have any questions, she was more a go with the flow kind of cat. "Well when you put it that way," She started, flicking a leaf off her tail as she continued, "We are all cats, we come from different backgrounds so I never really judge anyone for where they come from. I just kind of let them be unless they get in my way."
Burr had then asked her what she had first thought of her when they had first met and Fadingnight responded, "Well, I really just think of you as any other cat close to the border. No judgement."

"That's not how Rogues see me." Burr muttered under her breath. Then she spoke a little louder, "I was just salvaging some food and apparently I was trespassing..." The blind she-cat got up and stretched, wincing a little. "That was the last time I ran so fast." Due to an accident, Burr couldn't run so much any more. Her right hind leg, if you looked, was slightly twisted.
"Very well," Burr mewed, "I still having decided if I should even trust you still."

Fadingnight watched as the loner got to her paws, and winced as she winced upon seeing the shape her leg was in. That couldn't be useful when hunting, at all. Let alone walking, she almost felt bad for her; but it seemed as if Fading had left most of her emotions back in Treeclan.
Parting her jaws to respond she mewed, "It's all good, you don't have to trust me. Probably shouldn't." She shrugged, even Fadingnight didn't entirely trust Fadingnight. She was so wishy washy.
(sorry my muse is dying today)

"Probably shouldn't?" Burr asked, tensing up a bit. She was ready just in case Fadingnight pounced on her. "What do you mean by that?" Burr knew that she was just talking to Fadingnight calmly a few seconds ago, but now.... Just the way she said 'Probably shouldn't' made Burr nervous.

It was slightly amusing to the silver tabby, that her immediate reaction to her comment about how Burr 'shouldn't trust her' was to evoke nervousness. Letting out a tiny laugh before she responded she mewed, "Listen fluffy," She purred, figuring the name fit her almost as well as Burr because of her plumy tail. "I don't want to fight you, I'm not a fighter I've never been a fighter. I'm just not one for friends."
And that was hard truth, even after her move into Fireclan she really hadn't made many friends let alone acquaintances. All of the closer bonds she had ever had she had left back in Treeclan.

"Fluffy?" Burr mewed sourly, "Did you just call me Fluffy?" Burr was not amused one bit. "You may be no fighter but that still doesn't let you just call me Fluffy!" If Burr wasn't fluffy then, she was fluffy now. She could feel her shoulder fur start to rise up slowly. Jutting her head forward, to where she could hear Fadingnight's voice, she crossly meowed, "Listen, Fadingnight, I may look harmless, but those Rogues didn't take away everything from me! They didn't take away my claws. Don't ever call me Fluffy, ever again..."
(Wow... Burr's defensive side burst into auction right there!)

Fadingnight felt a small smirk crossing her jaw, but she immediately let it fade. She wasn't looking to make enemies so she merely sighed and mewed, "Alright alright, don't get your tail in a knot." The silver tabby had never been easily offended by anything, she was quite chill about most things.
"So Burr, what's the story on all the scars and blindness then?"

"The story?" Burr asked, caught off guard. She was at least a little satisfied that Fadingnight dropped the whole 'Fluffy' thing.
"Well there isn't a while lot to it..." Burr lied, flicking her tail. She took a deep breath and told it, Well... Part of it... "Well, I was salvaging for food and some Rogues appeared from nowhere and told me that the place was their lot... And then they attacked me..." Burr didn't feel like telling Fadingnight the part when Burr had to run away and was bumped by a monster. Then she crawled up to safety, only to be found by the Rogues again. She flinched slightly as she remembered the part when the Leader of the group slashed his claws and everything went dark...
