Those Secrets hidden in our childish lips | Drought here. There are some rules for the second TreeClan/DeathClan clash. First, see the slots list on the side? You may only join if there's room. It'll be four versus four - everyone gets a partner, and each battle pair may post at their own pace. Second, just jump right into the fighting. If you're joining as a DeathClanner and see that there's a TreeClanner without a partner, attack them. Last, TreeClan will be winning this fight and driving off the DeathClanners… but the war won't end yet, so no worries. Have fun! |
Pineshadow was on a patrol with the selected group to camp out the area that Deathclan now owned. The only reason he volunteered to lead was the chance to prove he wasn't just the childish warrior. He looked behind to see the three other cats with him and nodded his head as he stopped.
"Ok here is how this will go guys. We will stay close together but also semi-spread out. If you find a DeathClanner, attack immediately." he said.
The tom then turned and continued forward and then blinked his indigo eyes. He was hoping it would go smoothly. But his mind slowly was changing as they got closer to their stakeout area and he smelled something off.

Ash was scenting for prey, and was not used to the territory area. She couldn't find much but then got a small feeling of something, something bad. TreeClan? The tabby, quickly crawled toward the territory, and then scented cats. Trying to be smart, she didn't make a sound, and went toward the scent, she tried to be hidden yet watched for them. The tabby spotted a movement, and then crouched down, hoping the other DeathClan cats would come and help if a fight broke out.

Those Secrets hidden in our childish lips The tom looked and then spotted one of them stepping over onto the territory of Treeclan slightly, his neck fur rose and he turned to the clan. "This is it Treeclan, we attack now! I got this one, as the other ones show you get them!" the young tom commanded and then he slid out of his claws and stalked toward the gray Deathclanner growling lowly as he narrowed his indigo colored eyes and then on the count of three he pounced.
Hopping to land ontop of her he outstretched his claws and growled.

Ash snarled as one of them spotted her. She watched as he leaped on top of her, and then felt claw dig into her back. The tabby yowled and then tried to shake him off, her unsheathed claws swiping at him. The tabby knew it was for the territory, and she didn't want to break her reputation and loose the battle. Fallenleaf had been chosen to go on the patrol - or whatever it was. The attack. No, no, no, no this isn't good. She shook her head, ear flattened nervously. She wasn't terribly bad at fighting, but she didn't like it. She didn't like hurting others, though she would for her clan. Even if she wasn't terrible, she wasn't entirely confident either - and she was small. They should have sent along someone bigger. That would have been much better.
She watched as Pineshadow flung himself at a DeathClanner. I'm going to hate this aren't I. However, she'd never been in a real battle before. Perhaps it wouldn't go quite as badly as she thought it would. She searched the area with amber eyes, pouncing towards the closest cat.

Close together but far apart? What even was that? The only reason Dog had joined the patrol was because of the high chance of a fight. His tail flicked eagerly as they walked, a minute sign of his excitement. He'd learned self control. In the past, he would have been much more obvious.
His eyes widened as their young leader threw themselves at a Deathclanner, a smirk twisting his muzzle. "Looks like we found the party," he purred with a wicked chuckle. It was unfortunate that the clanmates around him didn't seem as eager as he, but hey, that was probably the rogue blood in him.

Sootpaw followed the warriors. He felt a bit uncomfortable being the only apprentice to tag along. He was the least experienced and youngest one out of the bunch. He was surprised he was allowed to come with them, he was shocked they hadn't just taken an older or at least a more experienced cat, or at the very least a warrior. He stayed alert, he kept his ears pricked listening out for any DeathClanners.
His eyes darted towards the arriving DeathClanners, one of which Pineshadow began fighting. Sootpaw thought fear would have begun to settle but he didn't seem to feel too bad. He was a bit anxious and he could feel a slight queasy feeling in his stomach but he wouldn't let it bother him. He was a bit afraid but his ambitions to help the other warriors seemed to put that feeling at ease for now.
He aimed for the nearest DeathClanner's flank with unsheathed claws.

Celestia hissed as the smaller Treeclanner's claws dug into her flank. She noted he looked smaller than the others. 'Why'd they send a runt...?' She wondered in her mind. Being knocked over by the attack, she quickly rolled over and stood back up. Deciding to take advantage of her larger size, she leaped upwards with claws unsheathed. She hoped to squash the smaller cat under her weight and do some damage.

Viper's searing green eyes gazed at the battle with unrestrained desire. Running, hunting, fishing, climbing-- yes, she was decent enough at all those activities-- but this, battle, this is where she excelled. Among claws, blood, and teeth. Letting any emotionless facade drop from her form, she raced into battle, a wide and confident grin adorning her features.
She sized up her opponents, looking for one she knew she could take. While she loved a challenge, she knew she was younger than most of these cats, and she'd never put herself in a position where she could get fatally wounded. Her decision was made for her, though, as she was knocked to her side by a TreeClan she-cat. Snarling, she turned on the warrior, cursing herself for not being more aware of her surroundings. This was the first battle she had been in with so many cats-- but as she was sure she could handle it. After all, it wasn't like her new opponent looked eager to fight.

Those Secrets hidden in our childish lips Alright this is how it should be right now. Pineshadow VS. Ash Celestia VS. Fallenleaf Viper VS. Dogfang, and Sootpaw VS. whoever the last DCER is, remember Treeclan wins this battle, but we can leave with scars, attack only the cat you are paired up with and have fun!
Pineshadow snarled at Ash as he was thrown off her. He landed on his side but quickly stood again and turned toward the she-cat. His fangs were bared and he charged at her again with his claws in the air. He went straight for her face and watched as his other clanmates fought two more that arrived, so far the apprentice had no one which was probably in all reality for the better. He was young, and unexperienced but who knows he might have some tricks up his sleeve.
"Deathclan this is our land!" he screamed.

Dogfang's head reared back, his nose wrinkling as one of the Deathclan cats attacked the she-cat by his side. Unlike himself, she hadn't seemed eager to fight at all. Feeling a strange surge of protectiveness the large tom hurled himself forward to stand in front of Fallenleaf as the rogue stood up. "I'm taking this one," he growled at her, over his shoulder. "Go make sure that runt isn't getting himself killed." With a parting flick of his tail towards Sootpaw, Dog bared his teeth and leaped at Viper. He was a former rogue, he really didn't expect to be listened to, but being Beechstar's brother had to count for something.

Ash growled with delight as he fell and bunged up for the leap. But was surprised at his speed of getting up, and felt a scar reopen on her face. Fox dung! The tabby narrowed her eyes at the TreeClanner, and then scratched toward his face too, trying to get revenge. The tabby knew more DeathClan cats came by the sound of fighting. There's not enough! We need more DeathClan to win! "Says a mere TreeClanner!"

Viper watched as another opponent took the place of the lynx point she was expecting to face-- her emerald hued eyes widening at the sight of a much more... menacing rival. Her momentary hesitation soon vanished, though, and she was back with her claws unsheathed and tail lashing-- once she finished sizing up the tom.
"Afraid you're little friend could handle me, foxbreath?" she taunted, waiting for the TreeClan skum to make the first move.

Dogfang's smirk widened as he examined the young she-cat. "Oh, I know she could," he purred with utmost confidence. After all, this little creature barely reached his shoulder. Then again, he'd earned his name for being as large as a dog. "This is about fun, not productivity." Even if he'd taken a warrior name, it wasn't that easy to ditch his violent nature. It was better to take that out on an attacking rogue than his new 'clanmates'.
With unsheathed claws and large tom sidled closer, striking out his one forepaw. He followed it up with a hammer blow with his neck paw, both striking out in quick succession. Hopefully at least one hit. He was built to be bulky, not fast.

The apprentice watched the DeathClanner lunge towards him and he rolled out of the way. Fallenleaf could handle that one. He belived his friend's mentor could take the DeathClanner on. He was going to go for the last DeathClanner to make match evenly tied with 4vs4. Beechstar had taught Sootpaw enough to be a stable fighter at the very least. Today would be a test if he was truly ready for warriorhood, or not.
He went towards the last remaining DeathClanner without an opponent and aimed a blow for their chest.
