And of course Firebird Speckheart)) foxpaw opened his eyes to a blinding light and sound of convened chatting about how he should have woken up by now his head and eyelid throbbed in pain his eyes slowly opened he moaned in pain. |

Speckpaw peeped his head in to see if his brother was okay. When he saw Foxpaw waking up, he grinned. "Foxpaw, you're a-a-awake!" He trotted over to his friend. "A-are you okay?"

Amberflash was standing behind Speckpaw looking at her apprentice with a hard look. "So you're awake now. Hmph. What stupid thing did you do, to land you in here?" She asked rather snappishly. 'Jeez, I've never been in here. That's most definitely a good thing... There better be a good reason.' She thought with annoyance.

Rainlight trotted in, taking her place by Amberflash. Surprise and shock were clearly shown on her face as she looked at Foxpaw. "Foxpaw! Darling, are you alright?" She trotted closer and started licking his head frantically. After a while, she stepped back next to Amberflash again and sighed. "Crowwing can take good care of you. You'll be feeling better in no time."

Amberflash took a step forward. "Hmph. That's what I was asking you, but clearly you have no idea what did transpire." She made her displeasure abundantly clear. She turned to fix her hard gaze on Speckpaw. "Were you with Foxpaw during whatever happened?" She asked sharply.

Speckpaw perked up when Rainlight came in. He hadn't seen his mother in a while. "Hello, R-Rainlight," he greeted warmly.
When Amberflash snapped at him, he shrank back. His fur stood on end and his happy mood was gone. "E-erm, uh, ye-yes. H-he was showing u-u-us what he h-had been learning when he fell fr-from a tree."

Amberflash took a step back and took deep breaths to try and calm down. Speckpaw wasn't annoying like Birchpaw... 'Calm down Amberflash... This isn't an annoying little pest like your brother...' She thought, reassuring herself. When she had finally calmed down from her snapping, she turned to Foxpaw with a look that seemed to be somewhere between a glare and a normal stare. "I'm fairly sure I never taught you how to climb a tree." She meowed flatly.

This was when Firepaw noticed the medicine den was rather full. Was Foxpaw awake? Excitement buzzing in her paws, the ginger she-cat gave two great bounds to get to the entrance, and then slipped inside. Sure enough, Foxpaw was sitting up in his nest-green eyes pained and mouth agape in confusion. A warrior she didn't recognize was also there, seemingly glaring at the wounded apprentice, and Rainlight, one of the queens in the nursery. Firepaw squeezed in beside Speckpaw, and sat down with a wide grin.
"Your awake!" she purred to Foxpaw, before dipping her head respectfully to the two older cats. She wondered briefly if Rainlight remembered her, but thought against it as she wasn't her kit. Giving Speckpaw a slight nudge with her nose, the ginger apprentice gestured to Foxpaw. "How long has he had his eyes open and no one thought to tell me?"

Rainlight narrowed her eyes. "Where were you climbing trees? We have no trees in FireClan." She shook her head. "You shouldn't have climbed anyway, since Amberflash didn't teach you. You should've known better." She sighed and made room as Firepaw entered. "Seeing the den is getting fuller and the kits probably need me, I'm gonna go." She nodded to them all and exited the den. "Get better soon, Foxpaw."
