Jackalfrost had been watching the she-cat ever since she'd taken a seat next to him, trying to figure out exactly why she had done so. Had he looked very lonely, and here she was to help him? Had he looked bored? Was he actually invisible and this just seemed like a nice spot to sit?
Either way, he decided to go with it.

"Jackalfrost of Fireclan. It's nice to meet you," he replied with an easy-going smile. Huh, maybe he was getting better at interacting. "Is this your first gathering?"

"I've been to a few," he answered with a smile. Leaping off the pumpkin, he turned so he could better face the she-cat. "But nothing beats the first time. It's so exciting."}

Brackensky turned her head to face Jackalfrost. 

She had a polite smile upon her face. "Mmhm..." She gave in reply. So. Fireclan. He was from a different clan. "I might ask the same question of you... Or are you a slight bit more experienced?" She questioned. She figured either was possible enough. It didn't matter whether it was one way or the other, however it was a way to keep the conversation going and to learn a small bit more about another cat. That was always a good opportunity.

    She wasn't really sure what was happening to that leader.
   Was it a stroke? Perhaps she was thinking? Was she simply... there were no words to describe what Petalfur saw on @zues's face or in her actions, whether the leader was there or not. Taking a confused look, Petal just watched the Treeclan leader, sitting patiently under a large bough of a tree in the shadow - quite fitting for the theme of the gathering, she found - and tried to decipher if her dinner had been drugged.

I don't even know if that was a parody of a song or not but that was amaxing XD ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

I padded into the clearing, glancing around. All the decorations and weird things...I heaved a sigh, rolling my amber eyes before padding further inside. Spiderstar was being odd, and I quite frankly had no idea what to do or who to talk to. Surely there were some warriors or deputies I could speak to, maybe ask for advice. So I walked around, waiting for someone to stop me. Y'know, something like 'yo' or 'hey you.'

    A new set of pawsteps near her made Petalfur turn her head slightly, her eyes still on the odd Spiderstar. "You think he's okay?" Petal asked this passing cat, nodding her head in Spiderstar's direction. "You see him, right?"

"Oh no, this is my first," he admitted, ears flicking back in embarrassment. "Pretty pathetic for the deputy of Fireclan, huh?" Such a young warrior that he'd never attended a gathering before. That was practically unheard of, and he was doing his best not to look like an awkward fool as he glanced around the large clearing.

Brackensky gave him a sympathetic look.

"I believe it's perfectly fine." She gave her opinion for what it was worth. Jackalfrost seemed rather embarrassed at having such a position within his clan and lacking experience. "Besides... Better late than never, like they say." In her opinion that statement only applied so much, but she wasn't here to nitpick sayings. She gave a slight smile. "Like I said. This is my first as well."

Frostpaw smiled as the other cat seemed to look happy enough to speak to her. @eyepatch, his name was. Well, he certainly looked experienced. He himself had said that it wasn't his first gathering, which spoke volumes of how lengths cat had been an apprentice. I bet he's learnt way more than me.
Thinking about the other cat's question, Frostpaw answered happily, "Well, it's all very exciting. Though, I highly doubt that all of these creepy things are normally here. Are they?"
Her mind quickly fluttering to thoughts of the other clans, she added another question to the mix. "So, what's going on in your clan?" She was truly curious, wondering if other clans had had the same rank upheaval that Rockclan had experienced.

[Sunsetshadow]

Sunnyset twitched as a voice spoke nearby. Sprucepaw. she thought, nearly gagging at the RockClan stink. But she held her composure. "Sunsetpaw, TreeClan." she replied with a straight face, unsure whether she liked this 'Spruceclaw' or not. I may as well give him a chance.... "This your first Gathering?" Oh, right. She wasn't a conversation starter. What a load of mouse-dung.

[Silvercloud]

Padding into the clearing, Silvercloud settled down, looking around her in wonder at the sheer number of decorations and such around the clearing. Though, how in the world did they get here? Who would come here in the middle of the night to place them? She shrugged the thought away and thought instead about some rumours she had heard, of spirits and clan leaders going insane. Well, that'll be a sight indeed.
Settling herself down and curling her tail around her paws, she looked around for some cat to speak to. After all, that was arguably the whole point of gatherings, at least for simple warriors like herself. 

[Spruceclaw]

"Yeah its my first." He said looking at the trree-clan cat "what about you?" He asked the cat she seemed uncomfortable with the whole gathering .

Spiderstar smiled as he climbed atop the great tree and saw Darkstar sitting there, about as ancient and dead looking as the tree they sat upon. "Oh, Darky, I didn't know you had disguised yourself for the gathering this moon! What are you, Wildstar's corpse?" He teased, looking down at the crowd.
