It was that time of year again. Jack-o-lanterns surrounded the entire clearing. There so so many, in fact, that Darkstar had to leap over them in order to even get into it. Fake cat spirits hung loosely from the trees, swaying in the slight breeze.
Shaking off the cold air, she got ready for the festive night.

Jackalfrost strolled into the Halloween-y clearing. His first gathering as a deputy; and his first gathering at all. Looking around the tortoiseshell reigned in his nerves and sat down with a smile. He was ready to get his spooky groove on.

It was Sandpaw's first gathering as a future warrior and she was happy. Shed get to meet warriors and others from different clans. While she was walking into the clearing she didnt see a pumpkin and tripped falling into a larger cat then her. "Im so sorry!" She meowed apologizing. 'Great Sand brain...your first gathering and you bump into two someone's.'

Thunderfox padded into the clearing along with his fellow Fireclan warriors. When he sat down he suddenly felt a small creature hit him from behind making the warrior fall over. 'Im so sorry!' The voice behind him meowed as he turned to see a pale ginger she-cat. "Thats alright." He meowed in an not to happy but forgiving voice. "Theres pumpkins everywhere." He laughed.

Snailpaw bounced into the clearing, tail waving amiably. He hadn't been to a gathering in quite a while, and was exited to have the opportunity to mingle with strangers again. Even more so because it was such a creepy, spiritual night.
Leaping onto one of the pumpkins, he leaned forward to scope out the area. "Ahoy there!"

Willow heard a loud 'ahoy there.' And looked around to find the cat who called it. "Well hello there!" She giggled seeing the apprentice. "Im Willowpaw of Treeclan." She introduced. Finally she met a cat from another clan!!! Oooo exciting!!

Snailpaw crouched down so he could better see this cat who had approached him. A smile split his features as Willowheart introduced herself. "Snailpaw, of Rockclan." The tabby replied, tilting his head in greeting. "Is this your first gathering?"

MAPS CAN BE POEMS WHEN YOU'RE ON YOUR OWN | Thicketpaw yawned as he swept into the clearing. The tom had forgotten all about the gathering and had gone to bed early. The only reason Buzzardpaw had managed to coax him out of bed, was at the promise of seeing a spooky gathering, and perhaps some dead cats. Not even sleep could beat that chance. Trying to look cheerful, he sat down and waited.

Frostpaw stept quickly into the clearing, glancing around in wonder at the sheer number of cats here. It was her first gathering as an apprentice, and in fact her first gathering at all. She had heard vague rumours about how this gathering would be different, with pumpkins and spirits. Well, it was a good time to be embarking on her first gathering. Looking around for some other clan cat to talk to, her gaze landed on a mottled cat, sitting in a corner. The cat smelled of Treeclan, with their distinctive woodland scent that simply couldn't be found in Rockclan. Padding up to him, she settled herself down beside the sleepy looking cat and spoke, "Hi, I'm Frostpaw, of Rockclan. It's my first gathering. And what is your name?" Frostpaw hoped that she had introduced herself well. She didn't want to make a bad impression on other clans!

This was Brackensky's first gathering period.
It was... Rather interesting. As she made her way into the clearing she scowled. "This amount of pumpkins has got to be illegal..." She muttered. She took a deep breath and switched to a blank expression. She found a place to sit next to some other cat. She didn't even turn her head. "Brackensky of Rockclan. You?"

Jeez, I don't want to be here. Antisocial Sunsetpaw had arrived, and she gazed out in boredom at everything. The pumpkins and ghost cats were really not needed, but being this was her first Gathering, she supposed it was a nice set of color for this special occasion. Creeping through the crowding cats as they chattered like a flock of pigeons, Sunnyset found herself a somewhat tolerable place where little cats had gathered to sit. She wasn't a talkative cat, but if someone were to try and talk with her, she wouldn't ignore them. Though often she was a hypocrite. Telling herself she hated even the thought of starting a conversation, and then seconds later doing just that, was something that annoyed Sunnyset to no end. But this time, she really would not start a talk.
And it helped, being she didn't even know anyone she would want to talk to.

Willowpaw smiled at the apprentice. "Yea it is." She meowed honestly. "How about you Sandlpaw. How many gatherings have you been to?" She asked sitting down with her grey tail over her paws.

MAPS CAN BE POEMS WHEN YOU'RE ON YOUR OWN | Thicketpaw's eyes widened as someone simply appeared in front of him. He really musn't have been paying attention of that had happened. Happy enough to go along with her apparent excitement, the tom grinned. "My name is Thicketpaw, but this isn't my first gathering." He hadn't been to one in moons though, and he'd done very little else between that time. "So, what do you think of your first ever gathering Frostpaw?"Frostpaw |
