Jude nodded. "It makes you think about things. Like the sky, for example. I didn't think much of it until you asked me to describe it." He shifted around, then copied her tilt of the head. "Is it not fun for you?" 'I'm really bad at describing things. Maybe it's hard for her to paint a picture and she's not having much fun.' He frowned slightly, hoping that wasn't the case.

" I guess that's true... You don't really appreciate things until they're gone." Sky nodded, glad he wasn't secretly dying of boredom. Sky flicked her tail, her mind trailing off as she began to think of other things to ask him about. She didn't want to ask too much of him., though the questions were building up.
" No! I'm having fun, its just funny to hear you try and describe things." Sky grinned lightly, amused. Its not that he was terrible at it, he just always sounded nervous, unsure of himself. She just hoped he wouldn't take it the wrong way and become self conscious and want to stop.

"You don't really appreciate things until they're gone." Jude smiled weakly. 'And you had to learn that the hard way, didn't you?' He looked away from her face, away from where her eyes were supposed to be. 'I really take sight for granted.'
He quickly brightened up, grinning widely when she spoke again. "Funny? I'm trying my best!" He let out a lighthearted laugh, curling his tail around his paws in delight. He was happy to hear that she was having fun as well. "Anything else that you're curious about?"

Sky frowned slightly as she felt the atmosphere change. It was strange how her other senses had strengthened since her incident. She tilted her head, his burning gaze was gone and she shifted uncomfortably. Had she said something wrong?
Sky perked up once he looked at her again, his lighthearted demeanor back. Sky laughed along with him, happy that he hadn't been upset with something she had said. " Hmmm..." Sky debated whether or not to ask about herself. She was scared about what his description of her would be. " What about... Me?" She asked quietly, feeling suddenly timid.

He tipped his head, eyes scanning over her briefly. He could tell that she was hesitant to ask the question, but he was glad she did. "You're colorful, like I said earlier. You definitely have a fun pelt to look at." He chuckled, not going into detail about her colors. Since she'd been able to see before. she probably knew what kind of calico she was. "I'd say you're small. In a good way, of course." It kind of made her cute, but in the little-sister type way. Then his gaze made it up to her face once more.
'How will I describe that?' He wondered, trying not to stare at the scars. "You have a few scratches across your face. I'm sure you know this, though. But don't worry, they're not ugly. I've seen much, much worse."

Sky giggled softly, a rare thing to come out of her mouth. Though, in her mind it was well justified, it was interesting to hear about herself, especially her size as she had been a runt as a kitten. She sat in silence, taking it all in. She had never tried to build an image of herself, though it was easier considering she had a lot more to work with.
Sky heard him pause, guessing he had now moved onto her facial features. At first she had expected him to skip that part completely, though she was glad he didn't. She had to hear how it looked eventually. " You don't have to try and make me feel better about it. I've made my peace." She lied, her expression neutral. She didn't want him to feel sorry for her and sugar-coat it.

Jude didn't believe her words for a second. It's not that he was trying to sugarcoat it, it was that he didn't have it in him to tell her what the scars looked like. They really weren't awful, though, which was the main point he wanted to get across. "I'm not trying to. But it really doesn't look that bad. It gives you character, even." He spoke softly, gaze tracing over the light pink injuries. "I think others will be too distracted by your awesome fur to even tell that your eyes are missing."

Sky couldn't help but smile at his failed attempts to make her feel better. It wasn't that she was drowning in self hatred, though, a part of her was glad she couldn't see what she had become. She knew she wouldn't like what she saw. Despite this she appeared calm, even happy on the outside. She had always been a good liar, so it was easy for her to smile on cue by now. " Good thing for that. Imagine if I had boring fur like you!" She teased, trying to keep the mood light. She never did like going in depth about her scars, so she was careful to tiptoe around the topic.

"Yeah. Imagine that." Jude rolled his eyes, twitching his whiskers in amusement. 'My fur isn't that boring, is it...?' He glanced down. 'Okay, maybe it is. Stripes aren't that exciting.'
The tom stifled a yawn and gave his fur a shake. They'd been talking here for quite awhile. He wondered if she was bored. 'I might as well ask. I doubt she'd just tell me that out of nowhere.' "Are you bored?"

Sky absentmindedly looked up, biting back a laugh of amusement. Its not like she could casually see if it was still day. Although, she didn't think they had been talking that long.
" No." Sky twitched her whiskers, confused by the sudden question. 'I don't look bored.. do I?'. She flicked her tail, dismissing the thought as she tilted her head to the side. " Are you?" They had been talking for awhile, maybe he was trying to hint at his own boredom? She hoped he wasn't bored, though she would understand.

"Oh! That's great, then." He purred softly, perking up. Hopefully she was being honest. She didn't look like she was lying, as far as he could tell. Then again, he wasn't very good at reading others.
Jude wildly shook his head when she asked it back. "No, not at all! I was just making sure you weren't about to die of boredom."

Sky pushed away the thought of him being bored right as he perked up, obviously he was enjoying the conversation, or at least didn't hate it. " Well thanks for your concern then." She joked, flicking her ears lightheartedly.
" I know we kind of wandered from this subject, but I forgot to ask. What made you join Deathclan?" She tilted her head, glad she was able to come up with something to talk about. Although they already discussed where they were before Deathclan, no one brought up what made them join.

He laughed. "You're welcome... Though really, if I bother you just tell me to shut it." He doubted she would do that, but he wanted her to know that he wouldn't be mad or anything. Jude blinked, looking down when she asked a question. "I guess... I didn't want to be alone anymore." Even though the cats of DeathClan weren't always the best company, it was much better to be around them than to feel lonely.
"And what about you?" 'I wonder if it was hard for her to join with such a disability...'

"Trust me, you're not bothering me." Sky reassured him, confused why he thought he might be. Sky nodded her head at his response, understanding it completely. It seemed most Deathclanners generally had the same answer, though, loneliness was worse then bad company in her opinion so she understood why.
Sky flicked her ears, trying to come up with a well justified answer. " I suppose I was just looking to join something that wouldn't be too close knit, yet still be close enough to help each other out once and awhile. Although being lonely was a big part of it." She nodded, satisfied with what she had come up with.

"If you say so." He murmured, only partially believing her. She sounded pretty sure of it, though. He stretched out his front paws, nodding to her answer. Loneliness was one of the worst feelings in the world, and he wasn't even aware that he was feeling it until he joined.
Jude shifted around into a more comfortable position, wrapping his tail neatly around himself. "Was it a big transition for you?"
