Jude hummed quietly, curious to know why her smile vanished. Had he made her think of a bad memory? 'Time to change the subject...' He looked around for something to talk about, shivering as a breeze swept by. He glanced at her, noticing that she had fluffed up her coat. "Are you cold?"

Sky pricked her ears at his humming, her muzzle twisting into a look of amusement." A little." Sky admitted with a shrug, flicking her ears forward. " Are you?" She tilted her head, not knowing if he had thicker fur then her or not, though she would assume he was too.

"Kind of." He hopped to his paws. "You wanna go for a run to get warmed up?"

[Sky]

Sky thought for a moment, shrugging in response as she stood. " Yeah, why not." She flicked her front paw lightly, squaring her shoulders. Without waiting for him she sprang forward, racing off confidently. She knew the area enough for her to run freely, for now at least.

"Great!" He exclaimed, blinking in surprise when she shot off. With a laugh he followed behind, pace remaining a few tail-lengths behind Sky. 'I wonder where she's going.'

[Sky]

Sky couldn't help but smile, feeling the wind whip her fur around. She hadn't been able to run like this in awhile. She began to slow once her memory become too fuzzy, running alongside Jude. Hopefully he would take the lead, she wasn't in the mood to face plant today.

Jude raced alongside her, forcing himself not to slow down even though his muscles ached. 'Now's my time to speed up and beat her!' He thought with a grin, taking off. He was so focused on getting ahead that he didn't think about where he was going.

So, unfortunately for him, he smacked into a tree and fell over with a groan. 'I sure hope she didn't follow me.'

[Sky]

Sky perked her ears in surprise as he took off, a grin breaking out across her face. She sprinted after him despite her aching limbs, digging her claws into the dirt to propel herself forward at a faster speed. Hearing a thunk in front of her she slammed her paws down to try and stop, resulting in her flipping forward. She slammed into him at an even faster speed then before, letting out a loud groan. " You couldn't have warned me?" She growled, though there was a teasing tone in her voice as she scrambled back onto her paws.

"Ow!" Jude exclaimed, then followed it up with a laugh. "Well, sorry. I thought you would've heard me slam into the tree." He said with a cough, scrambling to his paws. He then shook out his fur, trying to get the dust and debris off. "But hey, you're not cold anymore, right?"

[Sky]

Sky bit back her own cry of pain, untangling herself from him and following up after him. She shook out her fur roughly, flicking her ears back with a slight grin. " I did hear you, too bad you were slow enough to be right in front of me." She teased. Sky slowly nodded at his last statement, and if she could she would roll her eyes. " Yeah, I guess so." She huffed.

Jude twitched his whiskers in amusement. "Oh, be quiet!" He tried to poke her playfully with a paw. He nodded at her statement. "You're welcome."

Sky felt the poke on her side, rearing on her hind legs and batting his paw away. She huffed, shaking her head with a grin. " Thanks." She remarked, although it was mostly sarcastic.

Jude dragged his tail against the ground, making dust fly this way and that. "That was fun."

" You find crashing into trees fun?" Sky huffed, though her question was serious. He was weird... Although she had to say it did keep her interested.

"And you don't?" He quickly retorted, amusement in his voice. 'My head kind of hurts...' "That was a pretty rough run-in, though. Are you okay?"
