-Open to any apprentices-
Swanpaw stared into the apprentice den, her mouth suddenly going dry. She didn't want to be here. Swallowing, she forced herself to step into her new sleeping area. She stared blankly at the nests lying on the ground, confusion swimming in her eyes. Did she have to make her own nest? She assumed they hadn't been prepared ahead of time, but she didn't know how either. Where was she supposed to get the moss from? Doing a full circle, she simply walked straight back out. That is, until she slammed right into another apprentice. Stumbling back from the force she caught her balance, scowling . "Really!?" It was obviously her fault, but that's not how she saw it.

Willowpaw was objectively the worst cat to run into on your first day, especially like this. The bulky, warrior-sized she-cat had just finished washing the wounds on her neck and shoulders, which were dark crimson and extremely visible on her silver pelt. She grunted in surprise as a smaller cat ran into her, and she growled at the young cat's sassy tone.
"Yes, really. If you don't watch where you're going, mouse-brain, then you're going to run into someone. If you don't know that, then you aren't ready to be an apprentice." She snapped, her ears flattening and fur ruffled.

Swanpaw wrinkled her nose in annoyance, glaring down the silver she cat. She sized her up, quickly noting the fresh wounds along her fur. She raised an unamused brow towards the older feline. "What the hell happened to you? I would say I felt bad, but I'm rooting for whoever gave you those." Swanpaw jabbed a paw at her wounds, smirking. She decided to ignore her comments from before, instead focusing on the other she cat. (Mobile)

"You'd lose that bet, feather-brain." Willowpaw scoffed. Sure, her injuries were bleeding, but unlike what she did to her opponent, they wouldn't scar.
The older cat flicked her tail, looking down at the younger she-cat. Willowpaw wanted to hurt her, too, because she had the audacity to speak to her in such a way. "Of course, you don't look like the kind of cat to make sensible decisions."

Swanpaw adjusted her weight onto her left side, rolling her eyes. "What's with the petty insults? It just makes you sound stupid." She stated bluntly, tail swaying lightly behind her.
"Says the one with the injuries." She retorted, sitting down on her haunches nonchalantly. This cat didn't scare her, not one bit. "I really am curious though, but I assume you wont tell me." She referred to the she cats injuries.

Willowpaw made no comment, but she thought it was annoying that the she-cat tried to call her out on using petty insults by pettily insulting her.
"I got in a fight. If you wanna know who it was, just look for the cat with the bruised head, cut open belly, and torn up shoulder." She explained with a shrug. This cat seemed young and cocky, but not evil, so Willowpaw wouldn't try to attack her, especially not while she was in camp.
"Do you want to know why?"

"Wow, good for you." Swanpaw huffed sarcastically, annoyed that she was bragging about attacking someone. She may not be the nicest cat, but she didn't like fights. Not one bit.
Swanpaw nodded her head slowly, raising an unimpressed brow. She felt as if this cat thought she was a simple minded little kit, waiting eagerly for a story. News flash, she wasn't. "Yeah, but try not to drag it on. I have a feeling it wont be interesting anyway."

"He was being rude, arrogant, and mean." Just like you. Willowpaw explained. It would likely bore Swanpaw if she were to go deeper into detail, and she didn't want to sound like she was asking for pity. "It was barely even a fight, he just scratched me a bit, and I tore him apart." Willowpaw added on, her eyes gleaming in excitement as she relived the experience.

Swanpaw gasped fakely, her eyes going wide. "How dare he?" She placed her paw over her mouth, flicking her ears back in 'horror'. "That monster! You know, he reminds me of you! How weird." She made a face of 'confusion', the whole thing dripping sarcasm. Sure, she would have been annoyed too, just like she was with this cat, but that didn't mean she started a fight over it. It was pointless anyway.

"Of course it isn't that simple, but you asked for the abridged version." Willowpaw added as if it were obvious, rolling her eyes. She didn't like this cat's attitude, and she hated that Swanpaw was judging her for defending herself. "You're making a fool of yourself, acting like that. You got what you asked for, so don't complain."

Swanpaw only snickered, flicking her ears forward gingerly. "Okay, so tell me more. Believe it or not, I'm curious." She tilted her head to the side, way too far, tail flailing to keep herself balanced. Even if she wouldn't admit it, she was still a kit deep down inside. And if this cat thought she looked stupid, she might as well over exaggerate it.

"Well, I'm not a violent cat, even if it looks like it. If I was, wouldn't I have attacked you by now?" Willowpaw started, wanting Swanpaw to try to think about her situation, and why she would act the they she did. "But this cat, he's been cruel to me since my kithood, and he challenged me to a fight." Willowpaw waved her tail, her gaze focused elsewhere.
"How could I have refused?" Willowpaw drawled out, slowly dragging a claw against the ground, watching it cut into the grass.

"Violence isn't excused by common sense." Swanpaw snarled, her kit like demeanor vanishing. "You're not attacking me because we are in camp, I'm younger than you, have no experience in fighting; And considering you've already broken the warrior code, you would probably be exiled for attacking me." She stood, annoyed.
Swanpaw chuckled darkly, wrinkling her nose with an odd expression. "It was stupid and reckless, but then again, what do I care?" She stretched her paws out in front of her, inhaling deeply. Cats like Willowpaw annoyed her. They always assumed they were the victims, blaming their actions on others. At least Swanpaw admitted that she could be cruel.

"What would I care if I were exiled? If I decide that it's worth leaving Fireclan as long as I get to hurt you, then I will." Willowpaw narrowed her eyes at Swanpaw, sneering. She was being serious- There wasn't enough here for her to justify her watching every step in order to stay.
"You're a very, very ugly cat. I would be doing you a favor by shredding those garish ears of yours, I think Jackalstar might even thank me for taking care of such an eyesore." Willowpaw said cynically. Of course a cat like Swanpaw didn't understand, she was a spoiled brat.

"Considering we just met and you're already wanting to tear me apart, I take back the whole 'common sense' thing." Swanpaw sat back down, wrapping her tail neatly over her paws. Intimidation didn't work on her, even when it should. This cat could easily kill her before anyone could stop her, but somehow she didn't think that's what would happen. Maybe she didn't care. She couldn't really tell.
Swanpaw inwardly winced at the insults, gritting her teeth together. Her ears twitched self consciously, a frown growing on her face. "Ahh, and here come the insults of my appearance. I shouldn't have expected any less from you, but I almost thought you were better then that. Almost." She paused, blowing a puff of air through her nostrils. "What makes you any different than the cat you attacked? Rude, arrogant, mean. It seems you have a lot in common."
