It was a foggy, cloudy, wet day, and Loki already wasn't very happy. His black paws were muddied by the grass, and his flanks were wet from the tall grass all throughout the plains. This was probably one of those days he would forget, because it was too dull to remember.
After trying to find some dry spot for a while, it started to rain, soaking Loki's coat and easily chilling him to the bone. His short fur was not enough to keep him warmed. He padded on with an irritated look plastered on his face.
To Loki, it seemed as if he'd been walking for hours. He finally found a small cave, but when he peered in, he found that another cat was already there. It was too dark to see any features, so he just turned and started to walk away.

Callisto hadn't even noticed the other cat had poked their head in, but she was done with the cave. It was tiny and barely kept her drier than it would be out there. She carefully made her way to the exit and walked out, feeling the cold just as she had in the cave, only she was now wetter. Not spotting the other cat even now through the fog, she walked, humming a song her mother had sung to her as a kitten. She would have sung it there, but she didn't want to soak her mouth with the freezing water falling from the sky. After walking for a little, she did see the other cat and stopped humming abruptly as she sniffed the air, her eyes narrowing as she focused on smelling past the rain. When she did she caught a scent, but deemed it wasn't right. Her brother, both of them, lived in the clan. It was probably just some clover on the ground.

When Loki was walking from the cave, his sharp ears picked up a song that the other cat started humming. He had stopped, but not turned around. That song, he could barely remember it, but his mother used to sing it when he was still in the nest with his brother and sister.
But his brother never liked singing, not even humming. Maybe if he was desprate, he might, but he wouldn't do it for fun. Loki turned around suddenly to glare at the cat through the fog. His eyes were clouded by the weather, and he could only see the outline of the cat. "Who do you think you are?" he snapped loudly. "How do you know that song?"

Callisto flicked her tail, her eyes widening innocently. The voice to... but it couldn't be. "I'm Callisto. Others call me Calli too." she introduced, an innocent tone in her voice. "My mom sung it and thought it to me before our home burned. Why do you care though?" She asked, hurt in her voice. Ussually she acted differently, but she didn't like how much this cat reminded her about her brother. She much perfered to move on, and she ussually did. She didn't want to cry in front of a complete stranger (so she thought) though, so she decided to try to change the subject from the song as soon as she got a chance.

A wave of emotion that Loki had hid deep in his heart swept over him like a wave. He sat down quickly and blinked rapidly. Nothing had made him feel like this in a long, long time. He shook his head, and he couldn't decide if he should be rash or caring.
It was the song, the voice, the story. But it couldn't be... "Your dead," he said, shaking his head. "Why have you come back to haunt me?" His voice was calm, with a tint of pain stringing through it. "You died in the fire."

"I don't know what you're talking about. My family may have, well probably did, die in the fire, but I clearly didn't." she shook her head. "I don't know who you think i am but I'm pretty sure it's not me." she took a step forward to see the other cat. Surely it was just a coincidence... but the other cat's face... "*Enter cats name before Callie left*?" she asked, her voice shaky.

(lol, i couldn't figure out a name for him)
"Willowsong?" he asked, confused. Who else could know his old name other than Grayfang or his dead sister. He knew his parents had died, he watched them die.
Loki's voice was shaky. It wasn't everyday you found that a small part of you that you stamped out is still there. Willowsong was the only cat who really understood him for who he was. She always gave him hope, gave him a reason not to desert the family and the clan. When she died, he was torn. He was left to deal with his brother alone. Sudden anger flared in him, but he tried to conceal it. "Why did you never come back?"

Calli flinched back at the anger in his tone. "Is Greyfeather not dead?" she asked. She had seen it as clearly as Loki had apparently seen her death, Greyfeather was crushed by a fallen branch. She had turned and ran before t was set ablaze, sure, but he had been done fore clear as day in her eyes. "He was dependent on me. I promised he'd make it out and he was hit by a branch." she flinched at the sorrow in her voice and pulled it back, returning it to its sweet normal self. "You can't live somewhere that has changed so much. Even you left. If I made it out of the fire alive you mom and dad would have forced me to stay." (And now she has a reason. Thinking a brother is dead should be enough...)

(are you talking about grayfang?)
Loki shook his head, confused. "Grayfang made it out with me, he must've got stuck on the other side of the branch, and ran the other way. You know how he always loved being mr muscles."
He then shook his head. "Not long after the fire, father died from the smoke. Mother is also dead, from an illness." He looked at his paws. These were the memories he'd tried to forget for the longest time. "Me and Grayfang parted ways." Loki and his brother didn't get along very well, and yet somehow, they were still family.

(Lol yeah) Calisto shook her head. "You let him let go, didn't you?" she asked. As a lifelong goal, at least one, she planned to make sure Greyfang didn't act out to horribly. If he did and blood was spilled, his or another's, then she had failed. Sure she hadn't been there, she had thought he was dead, but still, it hurt a bit. She also heard about her mom and her dad and didn't have many sad thoughts about her dad, but their mom dead? "Did she suffer, mom?" she asked, her voice a little small. The rain seemed to be letting up a little, which was a good thing, but also one probably only she would notice after learning pretty much everything she had feared in her clan life had happened once she left. Hadn't they at least carried out one of her wishes when they thought she was dead?

Loki's face had gone emotionless. He couldn't think much about these things without getting sappy, and he had learned how to hide his tears. He didn't wanna cry. "She coughed a lot, and only until the very end did she start coughing blood. But she never seemed to be in much pain. She might've been acting strong for me and Grayfang."
After telling Willow that, he went back to the topic of Grayfang. "Of course I let him leave. For all I care, he can leave and never come back. He needs to learn a lesson, and I bet he's still alive. Not many cats can kill him, or even wound him. You know how we never got along. He's so arrogant and proud. All he cared about was his pride." Loki knew that wasn't true. He knew he still cared for that airhead, and that Grayfang cared for him. Grayfang had cried his heart out at the deaths of their family. When Loki thought everyone was dead, him and Gray had become a bit closer. For all they knew, they only had each other.

Calli cast a strong gaze to Loki and shook her head. "You did get along. You were just to ashamed to admit it. " she teased before shaking her head. "What are you going by now?" she asked, tilting her head to the side. "I forgot to ask that earlier."

Loki sfill couldn't believe that this cat, here, right now, was his supposingly dead sister. She had been gone for nearly two years. It was surprising that he had found her now. It was amazing that he had found her.
"I'm Loki, now," he told Willow. He wouldn't get used to saying Calista, or whatever her new name was now. It was just so different.

Callista nodded. "Nice to meet you Loki." she said, which was an automatic response when she learned a new name. She found repeating something imeadiatly helped remember it, and it was at that point a reflex. (Muse is low)

(muse come back :3)
Loki smiled at Cali. It was strange to hear his sister say that to him. "I've known you my whole life," Loki told her, smiling. He hadn't smiled like this in a long, long time.
"So, what do you want to do? I'll do anything you wanna do." The rain had been letting up, and Loki shook his pelt out, discarding any extra water droplets. His fur puffed up, and he was slightly embarrassed. But, it soothed down quickly because of moisture and some more rain. "We could go hunting," he suggested.
