(Yay. Did you want Cali or Loki to meet him first? If they chose to RP him)
Calli nodded and handed over the prey, pausing it glance back at Loki with a smile before disappearing into two trees. It was where she had made her den, and it made sense.

Loki gladly took the rabbit from her and watched as she disappeared between two trees. He followed her without a second thought.
((i dunno. i was thinking maybe Loki could run into him near Cali's den, and Cali could overhear them...? never mind, that's not the best idea))

(Or maybe Calli could be tracking down Loki to report to him and could find Greyfang instead just before coming upon Loki? IDK. You can chose.) Calli smiled at her den. It was in between two rather big trees and backed against a rock. The hollowed out tree was made into a den with moss in one corner and some prey in the other. She perfered to catch extra prey just in case.

((i like that idea, maybe we could build on it a bit))
Loki instantly spotted the prey pile and set the rabbit down there. He looked back at Cali and stated, "This is nice."

(Yeah. We should move this to the OOC thread.)
Cali nodded. "It's home. And from my nest I have the best veiw of the stars when they come out.

Loki loved the stars. They reminded him of so many things. "Do you still navigate by them?" He smiled. Then stepped out of the den as to give Cali a bit more space. The grass outside was also nice, so he lay down, facing her. He curled his feet in and sat on them as to look like he had no legs. "The grass ate my legs," he said flatly, with a straight face.

Cali thought for a moment. "No. I do sometimes when i don't really care much if I find what I want, but I've mastered tracking scents and broken grass blades." she responded after laughing over Loki's joke.

"When you get to know the territory well enough, you don't really need them anymore," he said. He was impressed that his sister's tracking skills had gotten really good. "So you said you couldn't find us, and you got lost, so you never returned to the family because you were lost, right? Was that your motivation to become a good tracker, to find us again?"

Calista flinched and bit her lip. "No... if you'll remember... I was already a good tracker back then. I just got better." she said in a small voice, wondering and fearing. how Loki would react.

Loki shrugged. It probably would've made a difference anyway. If he had had a chance like she did, would've he stayed away? He wasn't sure. "I don't blame you," he decided upon.

Calli shook her head. "It doesn't matter if you blame me. I blame me. If I had been smart enough to check back I could have seen that greyfang was alive and stayed."

It slightly pained Loki was Cali cared more for Grayfang than him, but everyone liked Grayfang more. He was loyal, muscular, and he was all around arrogant, what's there not to like? Maybe Loki was judging the situtation wrong, but hadn't Cali cared to see if he was okay? But then again, she had thought he died in front of her face.
"Anything else," he asked. Maybe she wanted to say something else.

Callista pursed her lips and nodded. "Loki. I want you to know that's i don't prefer Greyfang over you. I judge you as equals. I just didn't want to live in two different worlds. Even you gave up on trying."

That was true, the part where Loki had given up trying. It was hard to live in two worlds, one paw in one, and another paw in another. It wasn't easy at all. "I understand."
