"I swear to the cat gods CloudClan I am alive." She emerged from the snow. "Did I send this flurry?" As she was serious she cocked her head. Maybe in her old age she thought she controlled the weather.
"Where's the party at Clan at? Oh were off for a run okay." As if not realizing the dire situation she ran off-sorta (since she was a slow floofy elder) to rejoin her Clan.

"Uhm.." Suddenly Windflurry popped from the snow and scurried off like nothing happened. "Someone get a med to check her head when we get to a safe place. I think her brain froze or she messed up a few things..." He muttered.
"Or... that's just my mother.." He shook his head trying to get his mind free of Windflurry's baffling elder-behaviour. He went to rejoin his Clan.

The warrior age and sized lilypaw would have been due for a ceremony moons ago, yet no one seemed to remember she even ever existed, but now she was limp over the shoulders of a older warrior. Lilypaw would have been impressed he took the risk for an unknown clanmate. Meanwhile any cat who wouldn't have was someone she would hate to look at. It didn't matter anyway.

Duskrise couldn't talk, being busy carrying the kit. He felt it more prudent to ensure Mothkit 's safety than to answer her questions. At least for now. After it seemed things to have settled down and cats weren't fleeing in terror anymore, he set the kit down. He took a deep breath, his heart pounding. " This... I'm... Not really... Sure?" He was having some troubles thinking coherently. This all... Was a bit much for the warrior, having previously had a rather dull life.

Mothkit shivered because of the cold. The young kitten was set down. Mothkit hurried to her mother Rowansky. "Mamma when is this all over?"

The kit, Mousepaw, seemed practically dead. Azaleapetal gave him a rough lick on the head once more, her gaze distressed and above all frustrated. "What's wrong with him?" she cried, more so from the lack of knowledge and fear the kit was going to die. What could she do to help him? It wasn't like she was a medicine cat. Snapping her gaze from her brother and then to the kit a few times, Aza realized there was nothing she could do but wait for the medicine cats to arrive. So she did what seemed like a rather motherly thing. Settling down next to Mousekit, Aza curled around the tiny body as gently as she could, as if Mousekit was fragile, to give him warmth. It seemed logical. This was IceClan's chilly climate, an avalanche had literally swallowed the camp, and the kit barely had any warmer fur to help it keep out the cold. Until they had to move again, Aza was certainly going to stay curled up with Mousekit at her chest, and her poofy tail hiding his paws. "Shh, shh... little one, stay conscious for me." Again, Azalea felt like if Mousekit fell asleep, he wouldn't wake up again. And that really did scare her. "The medicine cats will come soon and check on you. And then after that, you'll be nice and warm... so... so stay awake. Just a little bit longer."

Crevicefrost wished that Badgerpaw was not dead. She spotted a queen who looked pretty worried. "Do you need help? She asked her.

Rookkit listened attentively to Snap-paw, his ear twitching in acknowledgement when Darkpool approached. "Don't worry, we'll help you look for him," the black tom mewed, resting his tail reasuringly on the apprentice's should for a moment while looking at the older she-cat, hoping it wasn't out of place for him to speak on her behalf. "What does Edgekit look like?" Rookkit continued, trying to get a mental picture of who he was going to be searching for, "and do you have any ideas of where he might be?"

"Shh, it's okay. i'm here, i'm here. Oh, you're both so cold. I'm so sorry, sweetheart," Eveningkit burrowed into Rowansky's belly, her tiny body enveloped by warmth and love. Large, pale blue eyes peered anxiously up at the gentle she-cat's face. Perhaps this strange ginger-and-white tabby could be her mother... Even if she wasn't Mama. Hot moisture pricked at Eveningkit's lashes and she blinked rapidly. She hid her gaze by nuzzling further in Rowansky's fur, inhaling the faintly familiar milky scent of the nursery. Reminders of life before the avalanche. "Rowansky... Mama..." she murmured. "Where's... home?"

Darkpool nodded, acknowledging Rookpaw's glance. "Yeah, don't worry about it. We'll find Edgekit just fine. I promise." she said, her eyes slightly darkening. Promise was a strong word. She more liked... that she'd make sure. The black femme nodded to herself and turned towards the thinning crows of cats. "Someone's got to have seen the little brat. I'll go ask. What does he look like?" she asked, echoing Rookkit's question.

Duskrise's breathing was heavy, as he watched the kit wander away towards....
Somewhere? He found it exceedingly difficult to focus, feeling as if looking anywhere made him dizzy. He shut his eyes tight and slumped to the ground. He just needed a rest. This whole event was a shock... He just needed to rest. For how long he wasn't quite sure. He was tempted to sleep where he stood, no matter how uncomfortable. But he didn't. He simply lay there.

Buzzardkit was freezing in the cold. "Mama Mama" the young kitten wailed scanning her surroundings with green eyes "Mama where are you!"

Even after Squirrelkit started to think that the danger was over, things kept happening. More and more cats gathered at the edge of the big flat black surface, on which huge creatures occasionally thundered past. The grey kitten was frightened of the beasts but his Clanmates were here, so it couldn't be that bad, right?
When Robinstar gave the order to cross, he hesitated. Some were already racing across the Thunderpath, choosing to move when there were none of the creatures nearby, so he stumbled after the other cats. As he reached the other side safely, there was a screech and a thump; he looked back to see that one of the apprentices had been trampled by a creature. Squirrelkit let out a tiny fearful sound and moved further away from the Thunderpath.
Rowansky was here now, so he huddled close to the ground and waited for the older cats to decide what to do next, keeping his eyes on his mother as she wove between their Clanmates.

After fleeing from camp, racing across the territory, and crossing the Thunderpath, Cinnamonpaw was exhausted. He'd never been much of a runner but it was more than that; cats his age were dying and he didn't feel anything anymore. He was past feeling terror at the fact that their home had been destroyed, or shock at how so many of his Clanmates were injured. Was everyone even here, on the other side of the Thunderpath? He didn't know.
Maybe if he went to sleep, he'd wake up and this would all have been a dream. The ginger-and-white apprentice laid down among the gathering of cats and tried to rest, to no avail.
