Sky kept her expression unreadable. That was probably the stupidest question she had ever been asked. "Jump down." She ordered, waving her tail and pointing beside her.
She didn't wait to see if he would do it or not. "Now close your eyes." She looked up at the tree. "And climb up as high as you can." It wasn't exactly like she could smell every single branch. The only way she could climb a tree was if she could feel where she could perch, and that was a very risky game to play.

Loki continued swishing his tail. He narrowed his eyes and made a strange frown smile with his mouth. "Ma'am, do you want me to jump down or climb higher?" He half joked with the first word, since she had commanded him to do these things. He smiled at her, waiting.

"Both." Sky huffed in mild amusement. "Seriously, do what I said." She flicked her tail impatiently, not in the mood to play games at the moment. Which was rather odd. She always wanted to play games.

Loki simply shrugged and leaped from the tree branch, landing a little ways from her directed spot. He padded over, sat down, gave her a smile, then began to climb the tree again. He first leaped onto a low hanging limb, but as it was small, he nearly ran into the trunk. Then he continued to leap from limb to limb until he was past the birds' nest. Still he climbed higher, and when the limbs got smaller and closer together, he squeezed through them until he was nearly to the top. From here, he could see a vast expanse of trees that marked Deathclan territory, and in the distance, a mountain of Iceclan. He smiled, maybe he should do this more often.

Sky hissed in annoyance. "You didn't even close our eyes, did you?" There was no way in hell he would have managed to climb to the very top like that, especially with that speed. It was nearly impossible for a blind cat to climb a tree, and it made her angry that he had cheated.

Loki looked down at her hiss of annoyance and felt a bit guilt for forgetting the main goal. He desended quickly and decided to try again. Once he landed on the group, he closed his eyes and tried to climb the tree again, just as he had always done. He ran hard into the trunk, but made it on the first low hanging branch. Then, he tried to remember where the second branch was, when he had climbed the tree ealier. He aimed for it, leaped, and barely missed it. He ended up hanging from it with his front claws, and he hung off with his back end. Loki slowly pulled himself up on the branch, opened his eyes, and looked down at Sky.

Sky smirked at the sound of him slipping, her cocked slightly to the side so she could hear what he was doing better. It seemed he didn't make it very far. "See? And you also had the upper paw. You've seen where the branches were before, I haven't. So no, I can't climb trees." She wished she could. She used to live doing it as a kit.

"I can lead you, guide you," Loki said, feeling sympathy for her and wanting to do something. There was a brilliant breeze at the top, and he thought she would really enjoy it, even if she couldn't enjoy the view.
He leaped down to the branch below and sat down, curling his tail around the branch. "If you follow where I go by scent and sound, you could climb high. I won't let you fall."

Sky swallowed, digging her claws into the ground. She wasn't seriously considering this, was she? He could easily trick her, and she wouldn't blame him for it either. Although... the longing to climb again was enough.
"Okay, but I swear if you let me fall I will slit your throats in the afterlife." She hissed. Sky sniffed the air, although scent wouldn't be enough in this. She waited for him to get down to the lowest branch, hoping he would start talking when he was ready for her to jump up.

Loki let out a soft chuckle as she threatened him. He wouldn't let her fall, no matter what, and this time he was being serious. Usually, he would play a prank or joke, but it would be cruel for him to let the cat slip and fall to her death. He bit a small part of his lip, knowing that if he actually let her die that way, he would be haunted by the image of her limb, broken form on the ground forever.
He used to kill cats, in battles and wars, but this was different. He had talked to Sky, gotten to know her a little bit, at least a lot more than his enemies on the battlefield.
Loki shifted down to the very lowest branch, which was quite close to the ground. He slid out along it until she had enough space to leap upon it. He gave her the sturdiest part, just in case. Then he called down to her, "Try jumping here, just to give you a feel of it."

Sky licked her lips, the only sign that she was nervous. Even then, without knowing her personally with all her different ticks, he probably wouldn't suspect she had done it out of fear. She inhaled deeply, pinpointing his scent, then moving her face closer to the trunk of the tree, so she wouldn't land directly on top of him.
Sky bunched her legs underneath her, leaping forward. She had only misjudged the leap by a whisker length. Her back leg hadn't made it on the branch, though she quickly clawed her way all the way up. A tiny smile made its way on her face, though she quickly brushed it off.
"Okay.. next." She couldn't keep the enthusiasm out of her voice. Sky was extremely good at hiding her emotions- all but the positive ones. She didn't have enough practice hiding them, since she really didn't feel them often.

Loki gave a grand smile as she seemed to be happy, which was something he had nearly never seen in her before. He leaped to the next branch, which was fairly close, and leaned toward her a bit, but not enough to unbalance him. If she was to fall, or need help, he would be able to catch her.

Sky could sense his smile. She scowled, letting out a breath of air through her nose. "Don't." She growled, though there was a tiny hint of amusement in her voice. She sprang up beside him once again, gasping as she fumbled for her balanced. She had leaned a little too far forward, and felt her weight tipping.

Loki unthinkingly reached forward and tried steadying her, afraid that she might tip the wrong way. He gave her a concerned look, and asked, "Are you ready to move on?"

Sky relaxed slightly as Loki helped steady her, forcing her breathing to slow. She wanted to jump back down, and never even go near a tree ever again. But she had started something, and it would look weak to give up already. "Yeah. Yeah lets do it." She nodded her head, no hint of hesitance in her voice.
